Tell All Tuesday: Raw Boost #ChewyInfluencer

Hey everypawdy, it’s me RaenaBelle, comin’ to ya’ live from the Three Belles Ranch. Ya’ know, I’s been thinkin’ and wonderin’, am I’s really live ifin you’re not readin’ this till next week or even next year?

Dezi sits on cat tree and Raena on perch looking out door

Ya’ know Raena, sometimes you think and wonder too much. Sometimes, you just have to let things be.

Raena profile selfie

But sissy, mommy says it’s good to think things over and make sense of stuffs.

Yeah Raena, but that’s fur mommy to do, not us. We live a life of luxury, bein’ waited on paw and paw. Our job is to lounge and nap and help mommy when she needs us. It’s her job to think and wonder and figger things out. Another of our jobs is to try out new foods and stuffs. Like the Instinct Raw Boost Mixers we got from Chewy this month. They come in both cat and dog formulas. Fur us kitties they have chicken and  our favorite protein and the one we tried, rabbit. They come in a 6 oz. bag fur $11.99 – $12.27. The doggies have bigger bags. We’ll never unnerstand why companies make such small sizes fur us kitties. It just ain’t fair.

Instinct Raw Boost Mixers

A purretty decent ingredient list, but the daily feedin’ recommendation is 1Tbsp fur every 5 lbs.. Really? Let me tell ya’, we’d be some really emaciated kits ifin all we got was 3 Tbsp of food a day. But, these do say “mixers”, so they’re s’posed to be added to food and not fed as a balanced diet. We also get a little peeved when we read “Made in the USA” but the purroduct contains ingredients from other countries. C’mon, what happened to truth in advertising? Okay, quit laffin’ and pick yourself up off the floor. That question was totally rhetorical.

Dezi eats freeze dried raw food

Let’s do the taste test and see how the rabbit mixers faired. They have a small pellet shape and fur the most pawrt are a good size. Mommy could easily break the larger pieces into smaller bites, and they soak up water or broth purretty well. As you can see by the fotos, they didn’t make me turn away from me’s plate and me ate most of the pellets on me’s plate. Which by the way, was more than 1 1/2 Tbsp. (half the daily recommended amount). Me did leave a few, and it’s not like me to leave food on me’s plate. But, overall, me gives ‘em 3 paws up.

Kittens sissy, are you in a mood. I’s agree with ya’, but still…Anyways, even tho’ mommy cut off half mine’s face, clearly you can see that I’s ate mine’s dinner too. I’s fur sure think they should come in a larger size, but overall, I’s give ‘em 3 paws up too. Mommy agrees with all our points and said she gave ‘em a thumb up as well. They don’t contain any of those questionable ingredients, and we gladly eat ‘em, so that makes her happy. Price wise, they’re purretty much on paw with other freeze dried foods. Ifin you’re lookin’ fur a way to add some healthier food to your kitty or woofies diet, these mixers just might be what you’re lookin’ fur.

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. Sissy, will you hurry and eat your brekky, so we can write our review posty?.

Don’t you know that eatin’ slow helps aid in digestion and helps ya’ get full faster?

I’s thinkin’ that only applies to humans, sissy. But I’s get that ya’ don’t wanna leave any crumb on the plate. Them rabbits sure are yummy.

They sure are Raena. Me’s so glad we got to try ‘em. Me’s hopin’ mommy adds ‘em to our Chewy auto ship so we can have ‘em again. We should purrobably tell everypawdy just what rabbits we’re meowin’ ‘bout. We were really happy to see Stella and Chewy’s Freeze Dried noms available to review from Chewy this month. We’ve eaten the Duck Duck Goose formula befur so we were x’cited to see they’ve added Rabbit to their line up. Knowin’ how much we luv us some rabbit, mommy jumped on it.

Dezi sniffs the Stella and Chewy's Rabbit cat food

There are 6 formulas includin’ the rabbit that are available from $9.49 to $37.99 in sizes rangin’ from the 3.5 ounce bag to 18 ounces.  Dezi checks out the Stella and Chewy food

Mmmmmm Is that Rabbit?

We were really happy to see the only meat included in the rabbit formula is actually Rabbit. So offen the name of a food doesn’t accurately reflect the actual contents inside the bag or can. We offen find that foods include turkey or some kind of fish as a 2nd or 3rd ingredient but it’s not listed in the name of the food. So, the Stella and Chewy’s Rabbit formula is all Rabbit. WooHoo

Dezi sits by Stella and Chewy food

So true sissy. And while we might really luvs a fureshly cooked turkey tom lurkey, we don’t like whatever pawrts of the turkey that are included in cat foods. And as most everypawdy knows, we’re not much fur fish either. I’s luvs these new Rabbit morsels. Purr the description listed at Chewy, these can be fed dry, straight outta the bag. However, since we cats don’t actually drink as much water as we should, we highly recommend adding water or broth to them. The morsels readily soak up the liquid and can be served almost immediately. I’s give ‘em 4 paws up. What ‘bout you sissy?

Before liquids

Me luvs ‘em too Raena. Me would also give them 4 paws up. Mommy was really purrleased that they didn’t seem as bony as some of the other formulas. Mommy says too much bone can cause constipation, and that’s not good. So, mommy gave ‘em a thumb up too. She says she withheld one thumb cuz they are a bit pricey. But she did say that most peeps charge more fur rabbit formulas that aren’t even all rabbit. The more she thinks ‘bout it she says she would add an additional 1/2 thumb cuz the food is what it says it is.

Needless to say, the Stella and Chewy’s Rabbit is a hit in our house. Almost as much of a hit as Chewy. You know we luvs us some Chewy. They offur speedy furee shippin’ on all orders of $49.00 and over and speedy flat rate shippin’ on all other orders. They offur an auto ship purrogram that ensures you’ll never run out of your pets faves. And they have all kinds of goodies fur all the furred, feathered, scaled and furless family members in your house. And, they have the greatest boxes ever. You know how much us kitties like a good box.

 The Blessing Train

There’s one last thing we need to do befur we go Raena. The next Blessin’ in our 12 Days of Blessings is: Technology. Technology brought us our catputer that allowed us to make so many amazin’ furiends. Technology brought us the ability to fureeze dry noms so that we can eat raw food anywhere anytime. Technology brought us heaters and ‘lectric blankys, and light and…well, you get the picture.

Fanky fanks sissy, that’s a great Blessin’. Let’s go play. We’ve got another great review to get ready.
