OMC  Yous won’t believ what hapund tuday furiends.  Well yous know wees stawted dis blog by accident.  Meez lets mommy keep finkin’ dat.  Weally it wus meez powews of purrrrrr-suasion dat made mommy cweate meez a blog.  Aftew all, sis Lexi had hers own Facebook page so it wus only faiw dat meez had sumfin of meez vewy own. MOL   Anyways, wees stawted all dis tu get da wowd out ’bout Service Cats and all da uddew Service animals out der.  So yesfuwday wees wus weplyin’ tu comments and weadin’ ow furiends blogs and gettin meez weady fuw da Cat Scouts campin’ twip tunite, and den der it wus. Da vewy nex email wus askin’ ifin meez wuld like tu du an innerview.  Seems meez new furiends Da Tabbies o Trout Towne (http://da-tabbies-o-trout-towne.blogspot.com/) had suggested dat meez mite make a innewstin’ innerview.  FANK yous so much.  Meez is fwilled and vewy excited.  So excited meez been duin’ da Happy Kitty Dance all day.  And meez wus tu excited tu even fink ’bout tellin’  twainin’ stowwys tuday.  Meez hopes yous fuwgivs me, but it’s not evewday a kitty giwly gets dis kind of oppurrtunity. 🙂   Meez will be suwe and let yous all know when it will be posted and whewe, and in da meantime, join meez in da Happy Kitty Dance!!            Til da nex time, Hav a Pawsum Furiday!! 😀

Fankful Wednesday!!!

Well as yous know meez wus gunna tell mowe ’bout meez tuday, but wees celebwated so much yesfuwday dat we’s just plain wown out. 🙂  Sis Lexi is da fiwst kitty dat mommys’ had, tu liv past 5 yeaws.  Mommy sez hers holds hers bweaf  and purrays evewday dat wees don’t get sick.  Mommy sez wees awe it and wees boff gunna be happy and helffy and liv fuwevew. 🙂   Anyways, Meez wus so happy and purroud dat yous all came out tu wish meez sissyfuw a Happy Meowday.  Meez wanna say Fank Yous soooooo much!!!!  You’s da bestest!!!  Wees all cuddled and nommed and got lots of tweats and bwushin’, it wus a twuly pawsum day.

Now der wus also a movie ticket and da noms on da list, but mommy can’t affowd da above items, so hers dusn’t go tu da movies. And hers fuwgot tu call dem and ask what dey chawge.  but it shuld be fun tu find out what evewpawdy else is payin’ fuw da same fings. 🙂

Dezi Luvs da Fone

Well so meez leawned tu use da fone tu call 911 in case of an emewgency.  Da nex task wus tu leawn tu bwing da fone tu mommy when hers wus still awake but kuldn’t get tu it herself.  Lexi and meez awe mommys ‘fallen and can’t get up buttons.’ MOL   So mommy put a stwing on da fone and began meez twainin’.  Once wes’ know how tu bwing da fone, we use da belt loop attachment stead of stwing.  Mommy wuld wait til da fone wuld wing and den call meez ovew and giv meez da stwing and den tell me tu giv her da fone and den hers wuld take da stwing back.  And she wuld sleep wiff da fone and in da meownins when meez wuld cwawl up on hers chest she wuld giv me da stwing and tell meez tu giv it tu her.  Evewday da stwing wuld get a little showtew  until it wus wight on da fone.  By dis time meez wus big nuff tu cawwy da fone in meez mouf.  Meez wuld watch Lexi cawwy da fone tu mommy and ifin sumpawdy called in da meownins afur mommy kuld get ’round meez wuld watch Lexi help mommy and hold da fone fur her.  Shes wuld lay up against da fone so it wuld stay in place by mommys eaw.  Well meez fawt dat dis wus weally fun.  and sumtimes meez wuld hit da button and a voice wuld stawt talkin tu me.  Meez luvs tu visit and dis wus sumfin new.   So meez stawted twyin’ tu ‘answew’  and bwing mommy da fone evewtime it wang.  Even when mommy didn’t need meez tu.  And sumtimes it wusn’t convenient fur mommy. mol

 

More den once meez got da fone and pawed da talk button when mommy wus……unavailable. MOL   One aftewnoon mommy wus in da pawdee box woom and of couwse meez wus der wiff her.  You know da unspoken wule dat sez yous can’t go tu da pawdee by youself, wight?! MOL   Meez wus eyein’ da pawdee box meself when suddenly da fone wang.  Meez knew mommy kuldn’t get tu it fast nuff so off me wan.  Sis Lexi wus layin’ on da vanity and hers meowed at me as meez wan fur da fone, and mommy wus twyin’ tu get up and hollewin’ “Dezi, leave the phone alone honey.  Sweety come back here and go tu the pawdee box.  Dezi, purrlease.”  But meez didn’t listen and meez got da fone and stawted back tu da pawdee box woom wiff it.  Mommy hollewed agin fur meez tu dwop da fone, so dis time meez did.   Meez looked at mommy and den at da fone and it wus still wingin’, so meez pawed da big button dat makes voices come out of it.  And at dat moment mommy wus hollewein, “Dezi dear I’m on the pawdee and I don’t want the phone in the bathroom.”   Den mommy heawd a voice comin’ outta da fone sayin’ , “I’ll call back.”   Mommy sed fankfully dis time it wus hers case managew/nuwse.  Uddew wise hers wulda been weally embawased.  mol  Of couws dis wusn’t da fiwst time meez had dun dis and wuldn’t be da last.  So, twain yous kitty at yous own wisk.         Til da nex time, Hav a Pawsum day!!

Dezi Learns tu Use da Phone

Well meez told a showt stowwy ’bout meez and da fone but meez got so many new furiends and dat stowwy didn’t go intu much detail, so meez gunna tell ya’ ’bout meez fone twainin’.  Meez luvs da fone. MOL  Mommy didn’t know when hers twained meez dat hers wus cweatin’ a fone monstew. 🙂  Altho’ as you wead wiff Shad, meez not da fiwst kitty mommy’s had dat liked tu talk on da fone. MOL   Of couws when meez fiwst stawted twainin’ me wus tu small tu push da buttons on da fone.  Meez wus so small mommy wuld take meez tu da post office tu hav meez weighed evew week.  One of da joys of small town livin’. mol  Well membew meez wus sickly when me came tu liv here and mommy and me VET wanted tu make suwe dat meez wus gwowin’ okay and since der’s no VET in ow town and meez didn’t even wegistew on mommys scale da post office wus da logical choice.  It’s what yous wulda dun, wight?? mol  

So anyway, mommy waited til meez wus healfy and wowm fwee tu stawt twainin’ meez tu use da fone.  And den mommy wuld put da fone in hers lap and den take meez paw and pwess da buttons ovew and ovew and ovew agin.  Den hers wuld giv meez lots and lots of luv and a foo tweats. 🙂   Lexi wuld always lay der and watch me.  Shes’ got tweats tu and shes’ didn’t du nuffin.  Oh well dat’s just how wunnewful ow mommy is and how much she luvs us.  Well Lexi did du sumfin’, she always looked at meez like shes’ wus gunna splat me. mol   As meez gwew and put on more wweight, mommy wuld continue tu put meez paws on da fone til meez wus actually able tu pwess da nummews.  Den one day aftew mommy made a call, hers gav meez da fone and pwessed meez paws on da nummews agin and da fone stawted wingin’ and a voice came outta da uddew end and sed, “911 what’s your emergency?”  Meez skweeked at mommy and da voice sed, “Help is on the way.”  Meez skweeked at mommy agin and agin.  Meez didn’t know dat’s what me wus posed tu du, but meez just likes tu talk tu mommy and anypawdy else dat’ll listen. 🙂  And den da fone wang wif meez still sittin’ by it, and so meez stawted pawin at it, and meez hit a button dat made a voice say, “du you wanna try it again??”  Well meez didn’t know it but mommy had called da 911 opewatew and told hers dat shes’ wus gunna be twainin’ me tu call fur help and hers wus callin’ mommy tu see ifin hers wanted meez tu call agin.

PURRLEASE DO NOT CALL 911 or twain yous’ pets wifout fiwst checkin’ wiff dem tu see what time of day and what day wuld be best fuw dem, specially ifin yous’ live in a big city. When mommy wus twainin’ meez and all da uddew kittys’ hers twained, da fone wus not connected tu a fone jack until she wus weady fuw us tu make da call.  Wes’ called a foo more times dat day, and den wested up afur duin’ it  agin anuddew day until meez kuld du it wifout mommys help.  And den…….hers had cweated a fone monstew. MOL   Meez will tell yous sum cute stowwys ’bout meez and da fone nex.               So, til da nex time, Hav a Pawsum day!!!
