Well here it is Wednesday and we’re finally makin’ anudder posty. Hope yous all enjoyed ow awticle in da Daily Mews. Just in case yous missed it, paw here and hav a read. Not sure yet, we still hav to iron out all da details, but we will let you all know. So what did ya’ fink ’bout da title of tudays posty? Bet yous all wunnewin’ just what exactly it means wight? Well let me tell you. First and most impawtantly, mommy can see again!!! Da laserin’ went fine and tuday…..well let me just tell yous how it happened.
- Meez not goin’ too faw away fwum mommys lap.
Fur munffs now yous know mommy hasn’t been able tu see so well. And since da flood ow house is kinda a mess. Fings be sittin’ in plaes they don’t belong and da cawpet be pullin’ up and is a weal twip/cwash hazard. So this meownin’ like evew meownin’ as we stawted down da hall tu da kitchen mommy sed, “Careful girls mommy can’t………OMC girls!!! Mommy can see!!!” See (pun intended) evew meownin’ now fur a kupple weeks we been runnin’ oovew fings and intu fings cuz mommy kuldn’t see tu move them or tell us tu turn tu miss them. But this meownin’ we didn’t hit or run ovew ANYFING! Mommy wealized dis meownin’ hers kuld see and it wuz wunnewful. Yesfurday after da llaserin’ hers eye wuz dilated so even tho’ it had been fixed she still kuldn’t see till that wore off which wuz sumtime duwin’ da night. There be A Rose.
Now fur da 2nd Rose in Roses. Da management company hired a new distwict supervisor and she wuz here tuday tu renew ow lease!!! Altho’ it didn’t go off wiff out a hitch, da new lease did get signed. And after all, what’s a rose wiff out a foo thorns, wight?. And since da lease is signed and that stwess iis gone now and mommy can see again, we can spend all day tumowwo gettin’ all caught up on yous blog postys. 🙂 We be sum happy kittys now fur suwe. We hav sum weally cool fings comin’ down da pipe fur da blog in da weally near future, so stay tuned. And weez not member hoo it wuz, but sumpawdy had wanted to a close up of ow Nip bwitches toy that Marty sent us, so here it is.
- Meez playin’ wiff mr. Nip bwitches.
- This be mr. Nip bwitches. Da toy Marty sent us wiff da nip sheet stuck in hims bwitches.
Now fur da sour gwapes. This new supervisor came down to look at da cawpet and sed she fawt it kuld be saved. Yeah, mommy wuz not a happy mommy and let her know what da actual purrfessional cawppet people sed. (she’s only been in pawtment management fur a kupple years and admitted she knew nuffin’ ’bout cawpet) Then hers asked fiin mommy kuld be happy wiff just da livin’ room cawpet bein’ replaced. Yep, yous guessed it. Mommy wuz seein’ red. Mommy told her dat da company had or wuz posed to hav insuwance to cover da cost of these fings and da bedroom flooded da same as da livin’ room. And dat sour smell she wuz smellin….dat wuz ow house. This only stawted after da flood ovew da last kupple of days. Mommy also mentioned that they needed to make adjustments to da pawment conditions cuz da tiled floors wuz no doubt going too mold as water had seeped under them where the seams were, and it wuz rusted where mommys file cabinet, fweezer, washer and dryer, da stove and fridge had sat in da standin’ water fur days. Then she suddenly stawted talkin’ ’bout seein’ ifin she get all da floors replaced. She sed that they wuld put down planks in da hallway and cawpet in da livin room and bedroom. These planks she’s talkin’ ’bout be cheap an wuld look llike wood floors. But they WULDN’T actually be wood floors. She sed it kuld be a while afur she knew anyfing cuz she wuld hav too get a bid and contact da “big boss” at Belmont to see ifin she kuld replace da floors. And in da meantime….still no cawpet monster. Yuck!!! Mommy and us awe so tiwed of da filffy floors. Stepin’ in wheat that’s been twacked fwum da pawdee boxes and evewfin’ els. 😦
So, Roses and Sour Gwapes. MOL But at least we be gettin’ sumwhere and makin’ a dent in all these fings that be causin’ mommy so much stwess. That means ow massages will finally help mommys migwaines again. At least till nex munff when mommy has tu figger out where tu get da extwa $30.00 fur ow rent cuz it went up. Anyways dat’s it fur now, we will be visitin wiff yous all later tuday. Meez so excited tu catch up wiff you all. 🙂

Fanks so awe we. 🙂 Weez hav a lawyer and hav called da Housing authority and well, evewpawdy sez dat they hav a wight to make determinations and get bids and blah, blah, blah. Nuffin gets da purrawllem fixed wight now, but weez will check out da site yous left. Weez open tu twyin’ just ;’bout anywhere and anyfin’ dat kuld help us.

So glad mum has better eyes now guys…not happy about the carpet that really is a health issue…the lease being signed is good but the rent going up is not..grrr life is so up and down for you all at the moment…hope it all sorts out soon! hugs and loves Fozziemum xxx

I’m so glad that your mom can see. (I will tell it to my granny, hope she is brave enough then) I’m glad the lease is signed (even with some thorns). I hope the floor problem will be fixed soon and you haven’t to wait for a long time, till the big boss says: ok.

I think management is trying to get rid of you ladies. Imagine that mess and then raising your rent by $30. Disgusting. Our hearts are with you. Dumb management. We don’t know them but think they’re stupid and not worth getting to know.

Dezi, we’re so glad your mom can see again! That is the best news. And we’re glad the lease situation has been taken care of. One less worry. But as for that carpeting. We just don’t understand why they don’t replace it. If there’s mold, It’s becoming a health hazard for you and your mom.

It is!!!! Fank yous. Yous so wight ’bout da less worry, mommy suwe needs a worry bweak. Weez workin’ on them ’bout da cawpet, mommy’s not gunna take anyfin’ els but new cawpet cuz da cawpet company has told hers and them dat this cawpet be no good and must be weplaced a well as da paddin’. At least da cawpet company is sayin’ it too, dt be good fur us, and moommy keeps bwingin’ up to them dat they hav iinsuwance fur just these things. They awen’t purrleased wiff mommy but weez got ow paws cwossed dat it gets weplaced and soon.

So happy your Mommy can see again…..maybe less bumping into things now at least until they start fixing the floors and replacing the carpet! It does sound like something is finally going to be done – maybe there’s hope after all!!!! I don’t see why they can’t just move you guys to another apartment while they renovate yours…..silly peeps!

Weez suwe hope so. they awe twyin’ tu get out oof it, but mommy keeps hollerin’ and fankfully da cawppet peeps told them it kuldn’t be saved so weez do hav dat on ow side. As fur movin’ us….it all comes down to munny. It wuld cost too much and since weez won’t and kuldn’t pay, it wuld be on them to do it. And that will be a cold day in hell. MOL

Oh, I’m so happy Mommy can see again. I know she is too. Also happy about getting the lease renewed but not so happy it went up $30.00. I sure do hope they can replace the floors soon. I know that will help all the way around.

And nope, mommy dusn’t like hers hiney bein’ wet not one bit. MOL Hers has put pillows down and blankets and evewfin’ but it seeps up (yous know hers not teeny tiny) wiff da weight of mommy and da cheap pillows weez hav it’s kinda like sittin’ wiff out ’em. MOL Day’s okay sumday mommy will get a new chair and hers will get to get off da floor again. 🙂
