Meow Well, this month has just gotten away from us. Are you all feelin’ like that too? Since mommy had kinked up her neck and couldn’t hardly function, we kinda gave her yesfurday off. We tried visitin’ a few of ya’ but mommy just couldn’t really type well and since we still don’t have those opposable thumbs, we agreed to let her rest and give her extra massages and luvvin’. So today we need to do some business. We’re purroud to be Chewy Influencers and luv tryin’ out new and even old things to tell you all ‘bout. We’ve got somethin’ today, we know a lot of ya’ll are gonna luv.

Mommy is always on the look out fur a high quality, good fur us wet food to supplement our meals. So when we saw the Solid Gold Purrfect Pairings Savory mousse this month, we couldn’t wait to give ‘em a try. You know we’ve heard this food refurred to as “kitty crack”. In a good way of course. That simply means that kitties everywhere luv it. So mommy headed over to take a look at the proteins bein’ offured. Now me must purrface this by meowin’ that mommy’s eye sight isn’t the bestest. Most of ya’ know this, cuz we sometimes complain ‘bout the black and white fotos, or smaller purrint. Mommy has trouble makin’ out the shapes without the contrast of color, and the small purrint kinda runs together. So, when she furst looked at the the name on these Solid Gold Purrfect Pairings, the word “mousse” appeared to mommy’s old eyes as “mouse”. (shakes head) Oh me’s poor mommy. MOL
Sur-purrisingly, mommy was a little on the happy side ‘bout that. Her eyes then focused and she realized that wasn’t mouse at all, but indeed, mousse. The Purrfect Pairings come in 6 different flavors and are a whipped mixture with goat milk to make that mousse texture. Much to mommy’s chagrin, all 6 flavors contain Tuna Fish. As you know, we don’t get much fish here, but mommy decided as a little treat every once in a while, this would be okay. Since tuna was in all the flavors, mommy decided to go all out and we got the Solid Gold Purrfect Pairings Savory Mousse with Tuna and Goat Milk Grain Free Cat Food Cups, 2.75 ounce. They come 6 to a case fur $8.34 and are also gluten free. Let’s see what Chewy says ‘bout these delectable treats.

Can you believe mommy’s never had a mousse? Well, she hasn’t, so she didn’t really know what texture this food would be till she opened the cup. Mommy decided to offur Raena and me a half cup each fur our mid afternoon snack. Mid afternoon snack is code fur Treat Time, that we usually eat on the cat tree and without plates. So to say we weren’t quite sure what to do with this “treat” is puttin’ it mildly. Uh, Where’s the freeze dried bits mommy? That was the question Raena and me were askin’ when we looked at our plates. So, mommy took the plates away and decided to offur it as a meal instead.
Dinner time rolled ‘round and again, mommy offured Raena and me a half cup each. Sayin’ me is picky, is an understatement. Me’s down right Finicky with a capital F. Ifin me doesn’t like the look, smell, or anythin’ else ‘bout somethin’, me doesn’t even want it near me. Mommy watched carefully with camera in hand, as me smelled the plate of tuna mousse. Me looked up at her and walked away. Mommy purromptly retrieved me and offurred me a bite from a spoon. Mommy thought the texture looked similar to baby food or a butter spoon mixture and that me might lick said spoon and learn how tasty this plate of tuna is. Yeah, NO. Me wasn’t havin’ it. Did she think me walkin’ away was an invitation to shove somethin’ in me’s mouth? Well, it wasn’t. Mommy relented and fixed me a purropurr plate and focused on Raena.
She sure did sissy. That old flashy box was purractically in mines face. Nonetheless, I’s investigated that whipped dollop on mines plate. Furst I’s went in fur the smell. Then I’s tried to cover it up. Mommy removed the toys from mines plate and put me in front of it yet again. I’s looked at her and then you and down at the plate again. I’s took another sniff and then went in fur the lick. Yep, a lick not a bite. There wasn’t anythin’ on that plate to bite. The Solid Gold Purrfect Pairings are lighter than a typical pate’. A mousse incor-purrates air bubbles to make the texture light and airy. That certainly explains the texture of these Purrfect Pairings.
I licked several more times befur abandoning mines plate. Mommy says I’s looked a bit confused like I’s wasn’t sure ifin I’s had gotten anythin’ to eat or not. I’s did go back to the plate fur a few more licks and then I’s just moved on to sis Dezi’s plate fur a more substantial bite of food. I’s just not that fancy of a kitty. Give me a plate of solid bites instead of a plate of air. I’s know lots of kitties luv pate’ type foods and even more like tuna. So I’s would meow that you’d purrobably luvs this food. Fur that reason and the fact that there aren’t any of those questionable ingredients, I’s’ll give the Solid Gold Purrfect Pairings 2 paw up.
Fanks Raena. Me agrees, 2 paws up from me as well. The Solid Gold Purrfect Pairings are grain free, gluten free and don’t contain a list of questionable ingredients, so they’re fur sure on the list of good foods that be good fur ya’. No kitty likes everythin’, so just cuz this didn’t tickle me’s fancy doesn’t mean lots of you won’t like it. Ifin ya’ give it a try, let us know what you think. Me can think of several of ya’ right now that would luv these Purrfect Pairings. Mommy said she was disappointed that every flavor contained tuna, but that seemed to be prevalent in a lot of the foods from Solid Gold.

Do you (your kitty) like goat milk?

You two sound like Minko before he stopped eating on his own altogether…he would try to cover his noms, walk away and give looks of disgust to petcretary…like what is a kitty mom supposed to be giving their furs anyway? Doggy noms?? Sheesh! MOL! At least you gave it a try, Raena!
And Minko just jumped onto the desk and is monitoring the typing with loud purrs. Petcretary has to work around him, and he will not let her put him anywhere else, he just insists on returning…ah well, that is a shared moment to cherish, right?? Maybe he will learn to type and take ovfur from her one day:)

Jan mixes everything around here with water. Have you tried it that way? We like it that way but we know it doesn’t mean you will. Just a suggestion.
