Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. I’s gotta hurry and eat mine’s brekky cuz we’re goin’ to see mommy’s new dentist today. And wouldn’t ya’ know it, the heavens have opened up and it’s stormin’ like there’s no tomorrow. All this started late last night. I’s thought sissy was gonna fall off the cat tree when the thunder boomed the furst time. 

 

 

 

 

          Quit makin’ fun of me, Raena. Me was in complete control when me descended the tree and went to look fur intruders.

 

Sure you were sissy. So, what intruders are you lookin’ fur unner that chair there, huh? 

 

          Maybe the same ones you were lookin’ fur when you ran down the hall to the bedroom, smarty bloomers. Me seems to recall mommy hollerin’ fur you to come back up to the livin’ room. Somethin’ ‘bout she wasn’t gonna have you bein’ ‘fraid of the storms and hidin’ out unner the bed?. 

 

 

 

 

Uh, I’s recall her sayin’ she wasn’t gonna have both of us ‘fraid of the storms sissy., not just me, she said both. And, what did I’s do when she hollered sissy, huh? Huh? Well? I’s came right back up and laid down with mommy. I’s not ‘bout to let some little ole clap of thunder scare me. Nope, not gonna happen. (Suddenly there’s a loud clap of thunder that shakes the window and lightning lights up the whole room. Raena looks at mommy and runs behind the chair and stands in the hall looking confused.) Mommy, what’s happenin’? 

 

          Ain’t gonna scare you huh, Raena? (Dezi meows from under the chair. Raena walks slowly back into the living room and jumps into the Gen7 stroller.)

 

 

 

 

Hmmmpht  I’s back sissy, and where are you? Hmmmmm  Let me see…I’s do believe you’re still hidin’ out unner the chair. 

 

          Me’s NOT Hidin’!!! Don’t you have a ‘pointment to get ready fur? 

 

I’s do sissy. Are you gonna be okay here alone till mommy and me get home?

 

 

 

 

          Me will be fine Raena. Just ‘member to bring me home any treats you may get. ‘Member, sharin’ is carin’. 

 

I’s always share sissy. And hopefully all these storms will go away soon. I’s can’t wait to meet everypawdy at the new office. Guess I’s’ll finish mine’s brekky now. Wish you’d come finish yours too sissy. By the way, any purrayers you can spare fur our trip and meetin’ with the new dentist would be ‘purreciated.
