Hey everypawdy, RaenaBelle here fur a brand new Blest Sunday. We got something called a cold front here this week and had temps in the 70’s a few days in a row. You’d think we could’ve gone strolling, right? But noooooooooooo. What with all the wets and funky temp changes mommy said she was hurting too bad to go walking all over the place. Not to mention the big scary woofy trampling all over the complex, chasing the residents, their pets, and knocking peeps down. Seems a new person moved in across the highway and doesn’t keep their woofy (lab-pyrenees/dane mix) contained.
Yep Raena, the whole complex is up in arms about it. Seems it’s more of that blame the other side for things you’re doing. They all let their woofies run free around here and never clean up after ‘em, but let the new person do it and they get all mad about it. (Dezi shakes head)
Yeah sissy, and when they started complaining to mommy about it, she said the same thing she always says…”It’s dangerous out there. Between the vehicles and the wild animals, it’s just a matter of time before their furry pays the price for their negligence and disobedience of the pet laws.”
Yeah Raena, they wanted mommy to call the pound so they could call her the bad guy when the neighbor asked where his woofy went. She didn’t take the bait. But, that means fur the time being, we don’t get to go fur any strolls.
That’s okay sissy. I’s just as happy to curl up in mommy’s lap. I’s just like to spend time with mommy. It doesn’t really matter to me what we’re doing so long as I’s can be with her.
You’re such a kiss up Raena.
I’s don’t know what that means sissy. (Raena looks at Dezi puzzlingly) Anyways, it’s Blest Sunday, and we should Give Thanky thanks fur our Blessings. I’s would say our furst Blessing is that we didn’t get chased by the big scary woofy. Kittens!!! One of the neighbors kitties almost busted through our front door trying to get away from him.
Yeah Raena, that had to be so scary. As always, one of our greatest Blessings is our amazing furiends. We luv you all so very much. We always purray fur our furiends, but we’ve been saying a lot of extras fur all those in the paths of the recent storms and wildfires. Purrlease stay safe and know we’re thinking about you.

And meowing of our furiends, we wanted to say a meowsy big Thanky thank you to awnty Vonda fur the green papers fur our car fund. We do have the greatest furiends in the universe. Me’s gonna go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies and then me was thinking we oughtta ask fur some of those tasty bonito flakes.
This is mine’s lip licking selfie.

Luvs and Hugs and KittyBelle Kisses
There are lots of fires here in Oregon. One of them go close to my neighborhood and we almost had to leave our home. Me and Mom had to stay in the den for several days to get away from the stinky smoke, ’cause it was upsetting our allergies. Thank the stars the rain finally came and brought fresh air.
Luvs and hugs.

It’s always the large over-friendly dogs, isn’t it? When my brother lived in Nebraska, his neighbor had two HUGE dogs that would come over and terrorize the kids. The dogs surely thought they were being friendly … thank goodness, for Tuna, their farm cat. She made those woofies listen when they wouldn’t leave my nephew alone.

We’re sorry you can’t go for a walk. How horrible that some people don’t take care of their pets!

Not cleaning up after their woofies is bad enough, but letting big and perhaps vicious dogs run loose is not good for anyone, be they furred or not. What are peeps thinking…oh wait; they didn’t.
Sorry it mean, too, that you can’t have any outside time .
Nicer tongue out shot!!

That stinks that you can’t go out for a walk. I hate it when people don’t keep their dogs leashed and clean up after them. XO
