Hey dearest furiends welcome to this week’s Blest Sunday. It has certainly been a week. As most of ya’ know, mommy has trouble sleeping, so we’re usually up really late. And then, her body freezes up so she can’t move in the mornings. It’s really no big deal, we’re used to it. But, every once in a blue moon, it’s really a problem.
Ya’ mean other peeps go to bed befur we do Raena?
Most do Zebby. Anyways, back to mine’s story. Ya’ know those little annoying noise makers (smoke detectors) that hang on the walls? Well, there we were laying in bed the other day, sleeping actually since it was 5:30 am., when all of a sudden…BEEP BEEP!, BEEP BEEP! Yep, a constant really loud BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP every 2 minutes. And no, it wasn’t no roadrunner. Now, we don’t just have one of those noise makers, we have 2. One in the doorway of the bedroom and one on the other side of the bedroom doorway. Yep, (placement) doesn’t really make sense to us either. And, they were both beeping at the same time. This wasn’t the alarm beep, but the change the battery beep. They’re hard wired into apartment’s wring, but they just had to alert us not once or twice, but constantly that the batteries needed changing. (Raena shakes her head)
Is that what that was all about Raena? I’s know it sure interrupted a really good dream I’s was having about treats and belly rubs. I’s couldn’t get back to sleep once they started. And, I’s didn’t understand why mommy was so aggravated but didn’t get up and make ‘em stop.
None of us got any sleep Zebby. And, she didn’t get up and “fix” ‘em, cuz she couldn’t move. Ya’ know those massages we give her in the mornings befur getting up? Well, that’s to help her muscles and body warm up so she can move around. Seems to me they oughtta come up with some other method or alert. When mommy told the manager she needed new batteries, the manager said that happened to the one in the office and she took a broom after it. She said she beat it so bad that she had to order a new one. It just seems to me that they can’t be very effective ifin everypawdy keeps ‘em unplugged or broken.
Yeah, I’s noticed you left out the pawrt about what mommy did to ours when she could finally move Raena. I’s wondered…
Hush Zebby!!! We don’t talk about that. Anyways, we mentioned this on facebutt, but we know some of you aren’t there. The neighbor decided Spook was really sick after she hurled a bit of water one day. So, Spook is now at the farm V-E-T. The neighbor had mommy borrow her car and drop her off Thursday. Mommy authorized blood tests so they could try to determine what the problem is. She didn’t ask purrmission befur authorizaing said blood tests, so we’re asking fur help to pay that bill. We want to thanky thank awnty Susan, awnty Karen, and awnty Jeanne fur the green papers. It’s also that time of year when we need to get to our V-E-T, so any help you can give, we’d appreciate. Spook’s blood tests will be taken care of furst since at the moment, we are healthy.

V-E-T? Why do we need to go Raena? I’s feel fine. And, the last time I’s went to see anypawdy called a V-E-T, they took mine’s prized pawssessions without even asking.
Trust me Zebby, those things weren’t a prize. You need to meet our V-E-T, and we need our annual vaccinations. You’ve not had a rabies vax yet, and mine’s 3 year vax is expired. Anyways, ifin you can help, you can donate through paypal here. In other news, it’s Blessing Train time again. We’re soooooo excited!!! We do hope you will all join us. And, ifin you’ve never joined us, make this your year to jump on. You can grab your boxcar and the instructions here.
Pick up your boxcar here.
I’s really looking furward to this Raena. This is gonna be soooooooo much fun!!! We’re already getting entries. We are so Blest to have such amazing furiends.
We are indeed Zebby. Every day we are Blest. We have a luvving mommy, a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, and the bestest furiends in the universe.
On that meow Raena, I’s gonna go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies. Maybe later, we can work on our boxcar fur the Blessing Train.
We’ll see Zebby. as we do each week, we’d like to remind you to take a minute today and every day to Give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thanky thank you fur being blessings in ours.
Till the next time……………………………………………………………….Be Blest!!!

Oh, we hate when the smoke alarms do that around here. But we are glad we have them to warn us in case there ever really is a fire. Poor Spook. We are purring and praying lots!

Sometimes ours go off when things go wrong in the kitchen…LOL! But that constant beeping for new batteries is far worse that the kitties begging their peeps to fill their bowls, give me kitties any time, LOL!

Smoke alarms are a pain, unless they are actually warning you of a real fire, then they are life saving. One of those things you have to put up with for the occasional good it does.
What a mess about Spook, i hope he’s okay (and all of you are, too).

I know what you mean about those stupid smoke alarms, it seems that they always start making their noise in the middle of the night! Dad broke two of ours and had to replace them!
