Hey dearest furiends, how are ya’? We had storms early in the week, but by mommy’s birthday, all was calm and hot. Mommy wanted us to say a meowsy big thanky thank you to everypawdy who wished her birthday wishes. They really made her day that much more special. She splurged and bought some Dunkin’ extra extra coffee creamer fur her morning cup of joe. She stretches them out and gets 2 cups out of each of them. She says it’s like getting 48 creamers instead of 24.
Mommy sure does like her coffee, huh? Anyways, after her morning coffee, RaenaBelle and I’s took turns giving her lots of loving, massages and extra purrs. We wanted her to know how blest we are that she’s our mommy, and how much we luvs her. We also wanna say thank you to awnty Ellen, and awnty Anonymous fur the birthday green papers.
In other mews, mommy’s been trying to find us a ride to Ardmore to the V-E-T and her eye doctor. She thought she might have found someone, but she wants to charge us $100.00 fur 2 hours. It takes an hour to get there and back, so we’d only have an hour fur our appointments. Altho’, mommy says that’s too much money fur someone to charge to just sit in their car and drive. We know gas prices are up, but come on…. So. we’re still trying to get together money fur our own reliable transportation. Any help is appreciated and can be given thru our paypal here. Mommy promised not to splurge on coffee creamer with car donation monies.
Well Raena, I’s can’t say that I’s sorry we can’t go to the V-E-T yet. I’s not really looking forward to that trip. Anyways, tomorrow is Memorial day. Everypawdy keeps saying happy. But I’s not sure happy is the right emotion. Mommy says it’s a day we remember those fallen in the line of service. You know, those who died to keep America free. I’s gotta tell ya’, I’s feel all kinds of things, but happy isn’t one of them. I’s appreciate their sacrifice. I’s grateful to live under the freedoms their death affords me. I’s understand it was necessary, but it doesn’t make me happy. We did make a lovely puzzle fur y’all that you can play here.
Play puzzle here.
Yeah Zebby, I’s think when humans don’t know what to say, they just put happy in front of it. Anyways, we also made a great animated card. And, we want to thank the family members for their sacrifice of any of those fallen. We are indeed Blest to live in the land of the free. We are Blest to have such amazing furiends. We are Blest to have a luvving furever home, and so much more. We wish you all a Blest Memorial Day.
I’s’ll go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selifes.
As we do each week, we’d like to remind you to take a minute today and every day to Give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thanky thank you fur being Blessings in ours.
Till the next time……………………………………………………….Be Blest!!!
Luvs and Hugs and Kitty Kisses
RaenaBelle and Zebadee
For many people the happy means something maybe different. They may work for weeks with no holiday but their businesses are obliged to close for Memorial Day and so they are happy? Or maybe just relieved to have a day off.

Your Memorial Day graphic is so special.
We are sure glad Mommy A had a nice birthday. That coffee does sound delicious!
That is crazy how much those people want to charge you for the ride to the vet. We hope there can be a better alternative. 😦

I am glad your mommy had a nice birthday and got a much-deserved treat for her coffee. How awful for someone to want to charge that much for a ride. I would do it for free if I lived near you. Thank you for the puzzle. Good point that we shouldn’t say Happy in front of Memorial Day. XO

Yes, we agree about that happy word, too…lets just say have a memorable Memorial Day? Or thankful MD?? its a sentiment many find hard to express, but we just need to remember that our freedoms came at a very high price.
Hope you can get your ride to the city, but not at that robbery price.
Once again, Happy Belated Birthday greetings!
Hugs and love to you all!
