Hey Zebby, what are you doing? It’s time fur us to count our Blessings. My first one is that I’s the Boss, boss. Today is boss day, and that means, it’s my day.

 

         

          I’s’ll be right there RaenaBelle. Did you see the lightning? Kittens!! It’s bright. It lit up the whole room last night, through the blinds and everything. One minute it was pitch black, the next it was like daylight.

 

Yeah, I’s saw it Zebby. Is it still doing that?

 

It sure is. The only reason you don’t know it is cuz it’s daytime and mommy has the lights on. If she turned ‘em off, I’s bet that lightning would light us up. (Zebby pauses a minute and thinks about what Raena said earlier) Uh RaenaBelle, you’re not the Boss, boss, that’s mommy.

 

Uh, Sure Zebby. Now c’mon, we’re Blest we don’t have to be outside in it. The crazy neighbor went and locked her kitty outside last night. (shakes head) Sometimes I’s just don’t understand peeps.

 

          Sometimes? Hmmmmpht  I’s rarely understand peeps. Except mommy that is, I’s almost always understand mommy. Altho’ lately, she seems to be really down. I’s try to make her laugh, but it doesn’t always work.

 

Yeah Zebby, she’s just feeling really alone right now. So, it’s up to us to make her feel loved, wanted, and needed.

 

          Needed huh? Well, if she’d bring one of those boxes in the house, I’s could rip it to shreds. If she hadn’t thrown away the nip kicker I’s started tearing up, I’s could’ve finished scattering nip all over fur her to clean. Surely she’d feel needed then. I’s mean, who else would clean up after me? 

 

Yeah Zebby, that’s not exactly the kind of needed I’s talking about. And, I’s don’t think those kinds of things actually make her feel better. When our peeps are feeling down, they need less destruction and more loving. And this time of year has more peeps feeling down. Mommy says it’s something about the change of weather and stuffs.

 

          Well, I’s can certainly do more loving RaenaBelle. I’s luvs lap time, cuddles with mommy, and spending time with her. I’s sure hope all our awnties and uncles get extra loving too. I’s don’t want anypawdy to feel the sads.

 

Oh Zebby, me too. I’s wish everypawdy could be happy all the time. I’s would give all our furiends a big hug and purr every day ifin I’s could. I’s so luvs cuddles. And, I’s luvs all our furiends. We are so Blest to have them.

 

          We sure are RaenaBelle. Let’s send ‘em a big old virtual hug right now. Okay y’all, put out your arms…here comes the hugs!! (Raena and Zebby hold out their arms and flex their paws to give everyone a hug) Now, let me go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies. Then I’s think I’s’ll give mommy one of those big hugs.
