Meowllo everypawdy, Isn’t it a wonderful day today? Me’s 7th birthday was yesfurday and da pawrty got started with a bang. We’ll be celebratin’ all month long. We’re gonna keep it short today cuz mommy was already spent from Mondays post ‘bout Shad, and then we just wore her out yesfurday. Me got to go strollin’ several times yesfurday. And each time we would walk through da door, Raena was there patiently waitin’ fur her turn. Well, she wasn’t actually patiently waitin’ cuz we could hear her meowin’ all da way across da ‘pawrtment complex. Let me tell ya’, dat girl has some separation issues.

Well Raena, me thinks she’s got it. Anyways, mommy furgot one thing yesfurday and dat was to check da batteries on da cameras. You guessed it, 4 fotos later they both died. Da one in da Canon is just kaput. There ain’t nuffin’ left to charge there, so mommy’s gotta look into a replacement battery at some point. By da time da Nikon was charged, it was dark, so no more strollin’. But dat’s okay, there’ll be purrlenty more oppurr-tunities this month. Me wanted to fank you all fur da birthday wishes and da cards me received. Mommy hasn’t had a chance to make heads or tails of anythin’ yet, but me got e-cards, email cards, and posted cards. They were all pawsum. We have da bestest furiends in da universe.

Fanks fur remindin’ me Raena. Writin’ Shad’s story Monday was very difficult for mommy. And based on her purrevious experiences, she had expected a lot of judgment and animosity from peeps. What we got instead was lots of luv and support. Mommy wanted everypawdy to know how grateful she is and how blest we are to know all of you.

MeeeeeeoW  Welcome, welcome. C’mon in. Raena, get everypawdy somethin’ to drink, me’s gonna get da pizza out. We’ve got somethin’ fur everyone. There’s bacon pizza, veggie pizza, and me’s favorite, pepperoni pizza. Fank you all fur comin’ to mes Birthday pawrty.

       Step right up, we’ve got purrlenty. Would you like a coke, tea, water, whatever? We’ve got it all. There’s fountains and bowls and cups too. Oh sissy, this is sooooooooo much fun.

Yep Raena, Birthdays are furtabulous!!! Don’t furget we’ve got toys, nip and da vine fur everypawdy. We’ve even got some pots of grass. Uh, Do me a favor tho’, ifin ya’ endulge in too much grass, use da piddle pads purrlease. Ya’ know, mommy has to do all da cleanin’.

Not yet Raena. Me was just getting to dat. Sis Lexi and me used to have these Yeowww nanners. You all know da ones. Anyways, after our ‘pawrtment flooded and dat whole fiasco, those nanners disappeared. We’ve been very blest to have received other Yeowww nip toys from furiends and reviews, but you all know they’re not nanners. Well lookey, lookey what we got!!! Dat’s right, we both got a nip nanner. One of our dear sweet awnties gave Raena and me these nip nanners in memory of 2 of her pawsum kitties dat have gone to heaven, Milo who left her on November 1st and Pepper who left on November 6th. Fank you soooooooooooooooooo much. We luv our nanners and we luv you more.

       C’mon everypawdy, let’s play. We luv to share and there’s purrlenty of toys fur everyone. Mommy’s even offered to take everypawdy fur strolls ifin ya’ wanna go. No rain in sight fur today.

Chatting Sisters: Mommy’s Got A New Fave Photo

Meowllo and welcome to a bootyful Wednesday. We’re gonna make it short and sweet today cuz mommy has lots of things she needs to do. Among those things. Raena and me are hopin’ fur a walk or stroll. Ya’ never know, mommy tries to take us out as offen as she can. Anyways, mommy says she has a brand new favorite foto.

Well Raena, mommies get excited and happy over da smallest and strangest of things. Me knows she thinks you be way too skinny. And after all da trouble she had with sis Lexi eatin’, mommy gets so happy when we eat heartily. But da truth of da matter is dat me thinks she’s happy cuz we’re eatin’ together. You know, mommy’s all ‘bout us getting’ along and all.

       I’s think you’re right sissy. And I gotta tell ya’ I’s purretty glad you’re not hissin’ at me all da time anymore too. I know mommy is as well. So I guess she has lots of things to be happy ‘bout.

Peace Is Returning

Hey, is anypawdy there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. Well, what a week we’ve had. Mines tummy’s been sore and mines balance was a little off at da beginnin’ of da week. And then there was sis Dezi. She wouldn’t come near me at all. And every time I tried to give her a nose bump or even walk by her she would hiss and growl at me. A lot of ya’ ‘splained dat basically I’s stank and dat’s why sissy didn’t like me. I asked mommy to give me some of her purrfume so I could smell purretty like sissy and maybe then she would like me again.

       Raena, mommy told you it wasn’t just your smell and dat you didn’t actually stink. You just didn’t smell like da Raena me had learned to luv and accept. And trust me, no amount of mommy’s smell good purrfume was gonna mask dat.

Well, ifin I’s didn’t stink then how come you were still bein’ mean to me a couple days later after mommys scent was all over me?

       (Dezi says under her breath and grins) Cuz me could. (Looks up and talks to Raena) Well Raena, mommy allows fur stinkerness after certain events without withholdin’ treats, so me was just takin’ advantage of every second of dat rule.

Is dat why you’re not hissin’ at me as much anymore?

       Yeah, mommy’s run outta patience and said we better get along or else. And besides it takes a lot of energy to do all dat hissin’ and growlin’. Me even missed a nap or two.

Well sissy, I’s glad we’re furiends again. Wanna play with our silvervine sticks? 

       Dat sounds like fun Raena. You know a couple peeps asked ‘bout where we found our sticks of da vine. As most everypawdy knows we don’t have much money, so mommy searched da innernet far and wide and found them on ebay fur less than a dollar and free shippin’ all da way from China. All ya’ gotta do is put silvervine sticks in da search bar and voila’ you’re on your way to vine bliss. Speakin’ of, me needs to find me’s stick. Befur we go, we’re gonna join with Rascal and Rocco and their pawsum co-hosts fur da weekly Pet Parade.

Don’t furget to tell everypawdy dat mommy’s gonna be busy gettin’ together our entry fur a pawsum contest today. We’ll tell you all ‘bout da contest next week. And mommy’s also gotta go get a flu shot this afternoon. Maybe I’ll get to go with her. So we’ll be by to visit as soon as we can. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
