Meowllo everypawdy meez back!!! Hope you enjoyed hearin’ fwum sissy. We fawt it was weally purrtant dat hers tell hers own stowry. She’s duin’ weally good right now and dat’s what counts. Let me tell ya’ she was sum kinda ‘cited when she came home dat day. She meowed ‘bout it fur hours. She luvs to go so much and we don’t fink she ever gets tired. Everytime she comes home fwum an outing she wants to go out again. Mommy sez she dusn’t know where she gets all dat energy. MOL We awe so blest dat sissy’s still got it. Now as you all know, eever cuz weez told ya’ or yous watched da news; weez been havin’ lots of stowms. Actually it seems more like one big stowm dat never goes away. Mommy sez she dusn’t member a time in wecent years when weez had a whole mumff of stowms in May. It is our rainy, tornadoey time of year, but this year has been pawful, and it’s not over yet.

Last night me wuld swear da wind was blowin’ a hunnewed miles purr hour. And da funder was in our house. They still say weez in a dwought, but we have twubble believin’ dat since everyfing wound here is standin’ in water. But even in all this we awe blest. Mommy was able to find sum dwops dat help me calm down and not be so scared and wiff meez hawness on most of da stowm’s not so bad. Me will say dat when fings was bangin’ wound outside and hittin’ da windows and door, me did hide fur a bit. Weally it sounded like everyfin’ was twyin’ to get inside wiff us. It’s still carryin’ on out there, but da wind has calmed sum so it dusn’t sound as terrifyin’ out. Dat’s a blessin’ cuz it means meez not hidin’ all day.

On anudder note, mommy be twyin’ to pack and clean at da same time. Weez got an inspection on Tuesday, and then da next week weez goin’ to BlogPaws!!! WooHoo Weez so ‘cited. Mommy sez she needs to pick up sum of da small cans or pouches of noms to take wiff us cuz there’s not a fwidge in da room to keep any leftovers. Of course weez takin’ da camera’s so she has to make sure she has da chargers so weez not find ourselves wiff a foto op and dead batteries. Weez purrawlly gunna have to get new batteries soon cuz you can only chawge these fings so many times afur they don’t hold anymore. But we awe so blest to have 2 such pawsum cameras and da wunnewful awnties dat gave ‘em to us. Mommy found sum of da fotos dat we fawt we had lost in da puter cwash dat had been taken back in da beginnin’, and she was astonished at how bad they were and how much better they awe now. And it’s not cuz mommy became a furbulous fotogwapher. MOL Well weez gotta go cuz da stowms they be ragin’ and mommy’s tellin’ us to get off da puter, so weez’ll meow at y’all again soon. We just kuldn’t let a Sunday go wiffout countin’ a foo blessings. Take a little time today to just stop and count yous blessings. Ifin nuffin’ else, yous here today. You woke up and took a bweaff and met da day ahead of ya’. You awe all a blessing to us and we luv you very much. Hope yous weekend was just purrfect.

Blest Sunday 2nd Time Around

Meowllo everypawdy and a Blest Sunday to ya’. Bet you are all wonderin’ exactly what do we mean by 2nd time around right? Well it’s been like a roller coaster ride round here wiff sis Lexi fur da last few days and so it was really late last night or rather this meownin’ when we wrote and scheduled our Blest Sunday posty. Since we usually don’t have any trubble wiff our posts goin’ out when we schedule them we didn’t get in any hurry to get by our blog today. After all it was Meowday/birffday pawrty day at Cat Scouts. So of course after church we went to scouts and pawrtied wiff those scouts celebratin’ today. That’s when we noticed our post hadn’t gone out. So we did what anypawdy wuld do ifin this happened and went about to publish it right then. Only when we clicked the publish button, we saw stars and all kinds of weird fings, nun of which was our post bein’ posted. When all was sed and dun, our post was nowhere to be found. So here we are writing it fur the second time around. MOL

The roller coaster you ask? Well sissy has lost a lot of weight, and although mommy tries to fotograff her so dat it doesn’t really show, mommy can see it. And we had a day when she just wouldn’t eat anyfing mommy put in front of her and she kept fallin’ out of the chair (make shift steps) dat’s only like 2 feet off da ground. And mommy had cried off and on all day long. So when Lexi got on da table at dinnertime and then wouldn’t eat yet again, mommy just kuldn’t take it anymore. Cuz me wasn’t eating either.  Oh mommy did her nowmal, offer Lexi a bite of everything we have in the house and prayed over both of us, but nuffin’ was working at all. So mommy sat down and had a big ole pit pawrty. She sure did. Meez paws was soaked fwum wiping da tears from her face. And nope, sissy never did eat that day. Me finally did, but dat’s not what had mommy so upset.

This meownin’ sissy ate a great bwekky tho’ so mommy’s happy again. At least till dinnertime. MOL We count our many blessings and sissy eating is fur sure a big one. Fank you to all of you who continue too keep her and us in your purrayers. We really do purreciate it. As always we are blest to be a pawrt of such a wonderful and caring and luvving community. And we are so blest to have all of you in our lives. We’ll be purrticipatin’ in Selfie Sunday hosted by our pawsum furiends over at the Cat on My Head.  And we’ll visit the best we can this week as tomorrow is mommy’s monthly doctors pointment and sissy has to go to da VET this week too.

Meowllo evewypawdy and fanks fur stoppin’ by today. We hope yous had a gweat weekend. OMC Wait’ll ya’ hear da news we have. We got mowe funnewstorms and wain as spected, but fank catness there wuz no hail. Dat wuld be ow furst blessin’ this week. Cuz at this point weez feelin’ a little waterlogged. MOL And it went and got cold again but at least we didn’t have snow. Ow poor furiend Foxy had snow da uddew day. Anyways, ‘nuff ‘bout da wedder wight? As always weez count ourselves among da blest cuz we have each udder. And we have all of you. We gotta tell ya’  this ole world can be hawsh. But it’s so much easier to bear when yous have furiends and furamily yous can lean on.

There’s been a lot of loss wound da blogosphre this mumff and lots of sick kitties, doggies, hoomans and mowe. So purrlease don’t furget to purray fur yous furiends. We fink purrayers be good whedder yous be sick or not, dat’s why weez purray fur all of ya’ evewyday.

Now as you all know we got a ticket to Blogpaws a while back. Wuz we sum kinda ‘cited or what? Ifin me has to answer dat yous be new. Welkum to Deziz World, and da answer is YES!!! Course mommy hadn’t weally taken into considewation any costs. So she stawted lookin’ at motels and we wuld have to went a caw cuz she dusn’t twust ow caw to go dat faw. Anyways, then mommy panicked. Not weally but it sounded good. Actually mommy did what any good mommy wuld do and stawted contactin’ companies to see ifin we kuld get a sponsor. She fawt ‘bout havin’ an auction, and then posted and asked ifin anypawdy wuz dwivin’ dat we kuld ride wiff. To which we got a email wiff a maybe. Yeah mommy saw da maybe but didn’t let dat deter her. She wuz believin’ fur a yes to follow. Weeks seemed like years waitin’ fur da yes, and still we had no idea how we wuld pay fur da hotel. By now mommy had signed up to do weviews fur pay so long as she appwoved of da purroduct and we kuld be honest. You know we won’t lie to ya’ just fur a foo gween papews. Turns out there wuz no weviews fur money to be had.

By this time mommy wuz finally stawtin’ to see weality and fink we might not get to go after all. And then last week mommy opened ow email and there it wuz…we had a ride to BlogPaws. OMC Mommy cwied as usual and then weality sunk in. There wuz only a mumff left and there wuz still no way we kuld afford a room. Any extwa munny mommy can find goes towards sis Lexi’s tweatments and ow cawe. And mommy findin’ extwa munny dusn’t happen. But we have been twuly blest to have sum of you help wiff doctows poinments and tweatments and noms and litter. We awe so vewy gwateful to you fur dat. So mommy made a last ditch effowt and made a posty askin’ fur a room mate. It’s not like we knew where da munny wuz gunna come fwum fur half da room, but it seemed easier to fink ‘bout than da whole amount. But still no weplies. Well it stawted stowmin’ again so mommy shut down da puter and we all sat wound just watchin’ sum teevee. Yep yous wead dat wight, me didn’t wun off.

Mommy wuz pettin’ us and we wuz purrin’ and hers sed, “We got a ticket and a ride and it just seems like it was meant to be. How could I be so wrong?” And mommy hugged us boff and told us she luvved us. Da stowm let up a bit and mommy wuz wunnewin’ ‘bout da dose of Vit. B-12 she wuz givin’ Lexi so we went to da suppowt gwoup and we found a post ‘bout a purrcedure we wusn’t sure ifin Brians furmily had heard ‘bout. You know Brian’s been weally fightin’ a battle wiff these UTI’s. And as you know mommy lost Lucky and Ransom to this pawful disease so we feel kinda close to Brian. We worry ‘bout all ow furiends and twy to help when we can. So we sent an email wiff da infurmation we found.

Afur mommys accident she always worked. And she nevew took vacations, cuz most of da tme she had mowe than 1 job. So this be like a vacation, meowsy big birffday purresent all wolled into one. Meowllo evewypawdy hope yous all havin’ a gweat weekend. It’s too quickly comin’ to an end. It’s been stowmin’ here fur days. There wuz no stwoller time, hawdly any time fur da Pawis twip wiff Andy and da cat scouts and vewy little play time wiff mommy. Now da last one wuz meez fawlt cuz me wuz hidin’ fwum da funder boomers and lightnin’. But da west is cuz mommy won’t let us play on da puter ifin weez havin’ wedder like dat cuz herz dusn’t want it too cwash. Da stowm got bad on Furiday so me didn’t even get to post yesfurday. And as you know me joined da Bloggin’ A to Z blog hop so da letter wuz P. But dat’s okay, cuz me will just use dat letter today an talk ‘bout Purrs and Purrayers on this Blest Sunday. Cuz stowms or not we awe vewy blest.

APRIL-CALENDAR [2015]

Sis Lexi be duin’ okay considewin’ and mommy ordered sum baby food fur sissy to take hers medicine wiff. Mommy kuld do dat cuz ow facebook awnty Jennifer and grand awnty Peggy sent us a gift cawd to Walmart. And meez gotta tell ya’ me tasted sum of da baby food noms and it wuz purretty yummy. Mommy sez it’s not a well balanced meal so we have to eat ow udder food too. And fur da most pawt sissy’s been eatin’ good. She gave us a scawe Furiday night when she didn’t seem to be able to move, but me purred and mommy purrayed and she seemed all better Caturday meownin’. She seemed better than fine when she wuz scawfiin’ down dat ham baby food let me tell ya’.

We did get a couple small bweaks fwum da stowm when mommy let us on da puter and we saw an email ‘bout fwum da CKD/CRF suppowt gwoup dat we joined. Seems one of da kitties wuz allowed to go outside aftew bwekky and nevew came home. We have all kinds of feelins ‘bout this cuz as you know weez not believe any kitty belongs outside; but we also know da guilt and panic hims owners must be feelin’. So weez askin’ fur all ow pawsum furiends and fwaminly to send up sum Purrs and Purrayers dat this sweet kitty make it home. We awe so vewy blest dat mommy keeps us inside and safe. And weez be dubbly blest cuz we know ifin we ask you all to purray, you do.  We awe so glad to have so many wunnewful furiends and fwamilly.

Me did get a chance to go by cat scouts fur a little bit yesfurday. And check it out…Andy and me went hanglidin’. It’s taken all Caturday and sum of Synday to wight this much in tween da stowms, so meez better go afur anudder funder boomer comes cwashin’ down.
