What a week weez had here at Deziz World. And weez finally here fur Blest Sunday. Our favowit post of da week. Well it’s been hot, and busy this week. Mommy had hers mumffly doctors pointment and we finally got our furst Cat Scout visitors. Ifin yous missed our furst posty on da flat scouts visitors click here. Shoko, Timmy and Einstein will be leavin’ us tomorrow to head to Timmy’s house fur a bit. And sweet Mango will be hangin’ out here wiff me and sis Lexi fur a bit longer. She’s a gweat houseguest so we kuldn’t be happier. They’ve all been just purrfect and fit wight in. See all those red names? Click on ’em to be twansported to them. And go ahead and join Cat Scouts. This weekend weez actually on a twip to da Gwand Canyon wiff all da udder scouts and meez sweet handsum mancat Andy had to go on a quest all alone last night so hims kuld get a purrmotion. Hims went out in da wilderness in nuffin’ but a loin cloff, carryin’ a blanket, a match and an egg. Me knew hims kuld do it and wuld be fine, but me was a little worried bout him havin’ to fend off all da wildlife by hims selff. But he made it back to camp this meownin’ lookin’ no worse fur da wear. After hims rests up a bit me looks furward to hearin’ hims tales of adventure.

On anudder note, sis Lexi is duin’ gweat. She’s eatin’ weally good. As a matter a fact she generally finishes hers plate and asks mommy fur more. And mommy kuldn’t be happier. She gives Lexi more and smiles da whole time. Since dat seems to make mommy so happy, meez been twyin’ to do a little of dat meez selff. Me dusn’t seem to get as big a second helpin’ as sissy duz, but mommy smiles and me gladly eats whatever amount she’ll give me.

And mommys been busy too. Our neighbor Mr. W went outta town fur a while and dat means mommy be feedin’ Buddy. Well you know mommy can’t just go up and slap sum noms on a plate and leave, she’s gotta hang out and play wiff him a while too. Mommy sez hims plays much ruffer than we do, but she’s had boys afur and members all ‘bout it. Mommy was a little angwy da furst day cuz when she got there poor Buddys water dish was dwy as a bone and hims pawdee box was so full hims was kickin’ da stuff all over da floor. Hims dwy food plate purrawlly hadn’t been washed since da last time mommy took care of him and hims didn’t have a separate plate fur da wet noms. Mommy specifically gave Mr. W plates fur Buddy so hims wuld have a plate fur each food and one fur water too. Weez know this lack of purropurr care isn’t just cuz Mr. W be a man cuz we have purrlenty of uncles dat have cats and no awnty, and they keep their kitties stuffs clean. Sounds like mommy’s gunna be duin’ sum yellin’ when Mr. W gets back.

Which bwings us to our biggest blessin’ today. We awe so blest to have a mommy dat luvs us so very much and takes such good care of us. Weez blest to have all those uncles dat take such good care of their fur babies. Course weez blest to have all of you, awnties and uncles, furiends and fwamily alike. We awe blest to have a roof over our heads and food in our bellies. We have sum pawsum weviews and give aways comin’ up this mumff as well as more twainin’ stowries, so be sure and check back offen. Well a Blest Sunday to you all. And based on yous comments, nun of ya’ be tired of hearin’ ‘bout BlogPaws, so weez gunna tell ya’ more today. After all, attendin’ was a huge blessin’ fur us and weez still reapin’ da rewards of dat blessin’. We need to stawrt a week afur we left tho’ so you unnewstand it all. Sis Lexi hadn’t been duin’ very good at all. She wuldn’t eat again, at least food. She ate her teaspoon of ham baby food dat mommy mixed hers meds in, but she wuldn’t eat anyfin’ else in da house. And twust me mommy was twyin’. She was dwinkin’ a lot and a little lethargic. She had long since quit playin’ wiff da cat twee which mommy was weally sad ‘bout. See sissy had always luvved to jump and climb and be high up too. And of course mommy had wanted a twee fur years afur we got one cuz she knew sissy wuld just luv it, so it weally hurt mommy to see sissy not getting’ to enjoy da cat twees we had been given.

We didn’t wanna tell you all how bad it ws cuz mommy didn’t wanna be judged and called bad fings. See sumtimes when we be in da spotlight peeps fink they have da right to tell us how we oughtta do fings and ifin weez not do what they fink is wight then they can be weally mean. And mommy felt bad enuff. But she just knew ifin she kuld get Lexi on this twip fings wuld turn wound fur her. Nopawdy knows us like our mommy, and mommy knows dat sissy luvs to twavel and stay in motels. (They used to twavel sum when sissy was yunger.) Mommy sez ifin she kuld afford it we wuld stay in a motel one weekend a mumff cuz it duz her so much good. Anyways, da day came fur us to leave. It was mommys birffday so we was hangin’ out wiff mommy watchin’ her pack up. Then it came time to load us up. Since we live so faw fwum everyfin’ mommy combines twips, so da only place we been goin’ lately (or so it seemed) was da VET. And we wanted no pawrt of dat.

So when mommy stawted puttin’ us in da stwoller we stawrted actin’ out and hissin’. We didn’t wanna be anywhere near each udder. Usually we twavel weally well in da stwoller togedder, but not this time. So mommy had to get da udder carrier outta da closet. So we finally got loaded up and we was off. And altho’ weez not usually sing in da car, we was tellin’ mommy all ‘bout why we didn’t wanna go to da VET. Mommy kept tellin’ us we wasn’t but we wasn’t so sure we oughtta believe her. Course it’s a lot of twubble to holler constantly so we didn’t sing fur too long, and as we told ya’ yesfurday, we ran into funnerstowms and dat shut us up purretty quick. By da time we got to our furst stop we knew da VET wasn’t in line fur this twip but we wasn’t fur sure what was actually goin’ on. So da day we arrived, we got checked into our hotel room and got our bags put in da room and we went back downstairs to check in. Dat’s when we got this pawsum “swag bag” and mommy got a t-shirt. Lexi and me was checkin’ it all out fwum inside da stwoller. And we saw this giant doggy wiff pink and purrple fur. OMC da fings hoomans do to us. It ain’t wight, it just ain’t wight. Anyways, after getting’ this pawsum swag bag we ran into sum furiends and visited a few minutes afur adjoirnin’ to da exhibit hall/room.

There were tables side by side all over dat big room. So many in fact dat mommy didn’t weally know where to stawt. And so she just stawted at da furst table she came too. Mommy was pushin’ us along and there were so many peeps everywhere there was barely any room fur us. Every once in a while sumpawdy wuld ask mommy ifin we was doggies and then look in and tell us how cute we was. Mommy opened da stwoller a few times so peeps kuld pet us, and pawently so da doggies kuld sniff and bawk at us. Fur da most pawrt most of da animals there were very well behaved, but there was a few dat weally needed to go back to school, and so did their hoomans.

There was even a big enclosure wiff fake munny dat mommy got in. See mommy stepped in and they closed da door and turned on a fan. Mommy was posed to gather as much of dat paper munny as she kuld as fast as she kuld. OMC Yous shulda seen how cwazy mommy looked twyin’ to gwab paper mummy. Mommy wuld have fweaked out ifin sumpawdy had of taken a foto of her, so no…there’s no fotos. At da time da camera’s were still packed away anyways and needed rechawign’. Weez not have extwa batteries and weez use da cameras a lot so da batteries not hold a chawge fur very long anymore. Not complainin’ here, just statin’ why we don’t have fotos of everyfin’. Altho’ as me stated, there wasn’t gunna be any fotos of mommy lookin’ cwazy. MOL Mommy caught sumfin’ like almost $400.00, but she wasn’t even close to da highest catcher who was at $1000.00. To be honest, weez not even member what da purrize was. MOL

Anyways after dat bit of fun, we went on to da next table and da next. And dat’s where we ran into da Tiki Cat and Weruva peeps. They make foods dat be low in phosphorous and good fur sissy to eat wiff hers kidney purroblem. They gave us sum sample packets and talked wiff mommy fur a while and finally it was time fur da exhibitors to shut down. At da end of da evenin’ mommy took us up to da room and got us unpacked and settled in. And then mommy got out one of those packets of noms and offered it to Lexi. She came flyin’ off da bed and stawrted chowin’ down like she was stawrvin’. She finished off one packet and asked fur anudder which mommy was glad to give her. Just as mommy suspected, da twip was stawrtin’ to pep sis Lexi up. Later…well me just wealized how long this posty alweady is, so me will tell ya’ more later. We awe so extremely blest to have such pawsum furiends here in da world of da innewnet. Take a few moments to count yous blessings today and everyday. When you stawt yous day wiff gwatitude it’s just better all da way wound.

What A Time…

Meowllo everypawdy how have yous all been? It seems like furever since weez chatted last. But let me tell ya’, what a time dat has been. Weez not know how sum of ya’ keep up wiff all dat was goin’ on and still makin’ postys and visitin’, cuz we just didn’t have time. And by da time mommy got in fur da night, she was so exhausted there’s no way she kuld help us on da puter. Da posty we did make took hours cuz she kept fallin’ asleep at da desk. (yes, da wifi was indeed furee duwin’ da conference.) OMC da swag and da furiends and da twip and da room and…well it’s gunna take us a while to tell ya’ everyfin’, so weez’ll do this a little at a time. Oh and da dwive? Yep weez’ll be tellin’ ya’ all ‘bout dat too, just not today. Today weez gunna talk ‘bout BlogPaws itsselff okay?.

And mommy kep tellin’ ya’ dat I’z lubbed too travel weez jiz doent git too doo it a lot cuz ov da green payperz. But weez hoep abter seein’ me in akshun and reedin’ ‘bout our adbenshurs, youz’ll unnerstand why mommy didunt fink twice ‘bout taykin’ me too BlogPaws 2015. It wuz az da hoomanz say, jiz what da doctor ordered.

Dezi: Yes sissy it was zactly what you needed wasn’t it? And yous had to show off too, didn’t ya’? You all know we be service cats, not celebricats. Altho’ weez wanna be celebracats sumday, weez not quite there yet. So anyways, weez not used to “entertaining guests”. So me didn’t come wound when we had visitors to our room. Me was all ‘bout da showin’ off when me was downstairs tho’. And yous’ll get to see sum of those fotos too. Oh Brian and furmily we can’t fank you enuff fur sponsorin’ us so we kuld go to BlogPaws Nashville. And of course weez got bit by da BP bug and wanna go next year too. It’s gunna be in Phoenix Arizona in June. We hope to be further along wiff our bloggy by then, and maybe even have a sponsor. WooHoo, wuldn’t dat be sumfin’?

And all of ya’ dat gave us gween papers fur da twip, fank you so much. And a meowsy big fank you to Ms. Tonya fur puttin’ us up in a motel afur leavin’ and comin’ home. When we tell ya’ ‘bout da twip yous’ll get why weez so gwateful. And we got to meet awnty Mary who lives in Nashville and hers bwought mommy sum Cokes. See we wuz in da middle of Pepsi kuntwy, and mommy purrfurs Coke. Not to mention those nasty Pepsi’s was spensive. OMC So a meowsy big fank ya’ awnty Mary. And we did an interview. Oh what fun. They didn’t know a lot ‘bout cat behavior, but it was still lots of fun.

Mommy weally enjoyed da classes, and all da visitinn’ and meetin’ of furiends. Oh and fanks fur da goodies Wally, Ernie and Zoey. Wow it wasn’t just a business cawd they gave mommy but also a little sumfin’ sumfin’ fur us too. And yes, mommy passed out our business cawds too. And she networked wiff sum of da bwands and we can’t wait to work wiff ‘em. This is gunna be so much fun. We took turns goin’ down wiff mommy to events and such, and cuz there was so many peeps there and mommy hung out wiff a few of them purretty regular, she left us in da room to rest sumtimes too.

Lexi: She shur did Dezi and it wuznunt fair. I’z relly wandid too go too da kloezin’ dinner. I’z jiz didunt wanna go in da strowller. I’z wandid too go down on minez leash. But mommy kep sayin’ sumpin’ ‘bout da doggiez and how ibin they wuz too lunge at me like they had erleer I’z woodunt habz any purrtekshun and kuldunt git away frum ‘em. So I’z hung out in da room wiv you and da swag. Owe da swag… (looks off dreamily) By da way, I’z ate sooooooo good on diz trip dat mommy awlmowzt kuldunt bulleeb it. Weez’ll be tellinn’ ya’ awl ‘bout dat when we tayk a look at sum ov da swag on itz own.

Dezi: Yep yous made a little piggy of yousselff sissy. But it was so good to see yous eatin’ so well. Now just keep it up. Meowllo everypawdy meez back!!! Hope you enjoyed hearin’ fwum sissy. We fawt it was weally purrtant dat hers tell hers own stowry. She’s duin’ weally good right now and dat’s what counts. Let me tell ya’ she was sum kinda ‘cited when she came home dat day. She meowed ‘bout it fur hours. She luvs to go so much and we don’t fink she ever gets tired. Everytime she comes home fwum an outing she wants to go out again. Mommy sez she dusn’t know where she gets all dat energy. MOL We awe so blest dat sissy’s still got it. Now as you all know, eever cuz weez told ya’ or yous watched da news; weez been havin’ lots of stowms. Actually it seems more like one big stowm dat never goes away. Mommy sez she dusn’t member a time in wecent years when weez had a whole mumff of stowms in May. It is our rainy, tornadoey time of year, but this year has been pawful, and it’s not over yet.

Last night me wuld swear da wind was blowin’ a hunnewed miles purr hour. And da funder was in our house. They still say weez in a dwought, but we have twubble believin’ dat since everyfing wound here is standin’ in water. But even in all this we awe blest. Mommy was able to find sum dwops dat help me calm down and not be so scared and wiff meez hawness on most of da stowm’s not so bad. Me will say dat when fings was bangin’ wound outside and hittin’ da windows and door, me did hide fur a bit. Weally it sounded like everyfin’ was twyin’ to get inside wiff us. It’s still carryin’ on out there, but da wind has calmed sum so it dusn’t sound as terrifyin’ out. Dat’s a blessin’ cuz it means meez not hidin’ all day.

On anudder note, mommy be twyin’ to pack and clean at da same time. Weez got an inspection on Tuesday, and then da next week weez goin’ to BlogPaws!!! WooHoo Weez so ‘cited. Mommy sez she needs to pick up sum of da small cans or pouches of noms to take wiff us cuz there’s not a fwidge in da room to keep any leftovers. Of course weez takin’ da camera’s so she has to make sure she has da chargers so weez not find ourselves wiff a foto op and dead batteries. Weez purrawlly gunna have to get new batteries soon cuz you can only chawge these fings so many times afur they don’t hold anymore. But we awe so blest to have 2 such pawsum cameras and da wunnewful awnties dat gave ‘em to us. Mommy found sum of da fotos dat we fawt we had lost in da puter cwash dat had been taken back in da beginnin’, and she was astonished at how bad they were and how much better they awe now. And it’s not cuz mommy became a furbulous fotogwapher. MOL Well weez gotta go cuz da stowms they be ragin’ and mommy’s tellin’ us to get off da puter, so weez’ll meow at y’all again soon. We just kuldn’t let a Sunday go wiffout countin’ a foo blessings. Take a little time today to just stop and count yous blessings. Ifin nuffin’ else, yous here today. You woke up and took a bweaff and met da day ahead of ya’. You awe all a blessing to us and we luv you very much. Hope yous weekend was just purrfect.
