A Fun Filled Furiday: Meet Kiki
Welkum to a furesh and fun filled Furiday. As purromissed me is gunna be featurin’ a pawsum and adoptable kitty; and showin’ off sum blooper fotos. Trust me we have a lot of those. MOL We hope to find a lot of ya’ jumpin’ on this blog hop band wagon this year. Dusn’t it sound like a lot of fun? C’mon, surely you or yous peeps take sum blooper fotos. Even purrfessionals have bloopers. Me kuld guarantee ya’ they wuld ifin they was fotograffin’ me. Mommy sez meez a camera hog who luvs to be fotograffed. But cuz me luvs it, me likes to stop duin’ whatever was so cute and caused da camera to come out in da furst place and pose or smooch da camera. Me tries to tell her dat you never know who might be seein’ dat foto. It kuld be mr. right, or sum big Hollywood purrducer. MOL
Anyways, we wuld like to introduce you to Kiki. She’s a purretty little black panfur girl at da Pauls Valley, Oklahoma Animal Shelter.

Can ya’ tell everypawdy a little about yous selff Kiki?
Kiki: Well Dezi, I’m a senior panther girl. I was born April 22 of 2000. I spent my life livin’ outside in a backyard. Now that I’m older I really do wanna live inside with a peep or peeps of my own. I’ve got some long white whiskers and the man in the white coat sed I didn’t have any diseases and can’t be havin’ any babies. I’m small and have big golden eyes. The peeps here at the shelter sed I can only be adopted to an inside only home. I’m sure happy about that. You know it gets cold outside and there’s lots of dangerous things in the dark. The shelter peeps are nice but I sure would like to have a home of my own with my own human to love. I know I’m getting’ on up there in years now and I’m not the sleek well kempt looker I used to be, but I still have a lot of love to give. And I really would like to be loved by somepawdy too. Girls, do ya’ reckon there’s somepawdy out there who could love me?
Oh Kiki we just know there’s sumpawdy out there fur ya’. They just be waitin’ to take you home and spoil you rotten. Kiki can be adopted fur a mere $50.00. You know in da rescue world little Kiki already has 2 strikes agsinst her; She’s black and a senior. Blest Sunday
Meowllo everypawdy!!! It’s Blest Sunday, our favowit posty. And OMC awe we ever blest. We have a lot of good fings comin’ up fur da bloggy and fur all of you. We can’t tell ya’ yet, so be lookin’. We stawrted out yesfurday wiff da bootyful sunshine and a little wind. Typical wedder of this time of year. Afur da day was over, da skies turned black and opened up and we had funner and lightnin’ and rain. Yep, more rain, we had a lot of it. Da stowrm kept knockin’ us off da puter. But it did let up long enuff fur me to head over to Cat Scouts fur da purrmotion ceremonies. We had a lot of gweat kitties get purrmoted. Me was so purroud of all meez fellow scouts and furiends. And then meez name was called. Me was purrmoted to da rank of LION. Wow can you believe it? Little ole me is a Lion. WooHoo Course dat means a lot more wesponsibility on meez shoulders. Me has to be a good example to da kit scouts and all da udder scouts as well. But me finks meez up to da task.
See us scouts look out fur one anudder and help each udder when we can, in any way we can. Sumtimes all me can do to help is to cheer anudder scout on. But sumtimes dat’s all they need. Weez have a lot of activities at Cat Scouts to help us rise in rank. And we have sum activities dat allow us to help udders who be less furtunate than us. We have a service purroject where we send cawds to peeps dat be in nursin’ homes and da like. Meez only been able to do dat once so faw, but me hopes to do it more in da future. We also have a lot of fun. We celebwate Meowdays every mumff wiff a pawrty, we take twips to faw away places, and we have adventures galore. So what awe you waitin’ on, you know you wanna join. Paw wight here to be twansported to da Cat Scouts site and get yous selff signed up. Today be flag day, so weez all celebwatin’ wiff pawsum fotos. And me bets there’ll be sum gweat noms wound da campfire. Me hasn’t had a chance to get meez new badge put on meez unifurm yet, but me can’t wait.
And we awe so blest to have bwought back all those wunnewful Weruva noms fwum BlogPaws. We haven’t opened a can or pouch yet dat sissy hasn’t luvved. And quite furankly mommy luvs ‘em too. They be good fur Lexi and just outwight good. Da food inside da cans and packets looks just like stuff she wuld put on hers plate. Weez hopin’ to work out a little sumpin’ sumpin’ wiff ‘em fur all of you too. Weez keepin’ our paws cwossed on dat one.
Anyways, weez also showin’ off sum selfies today and joinin’ up wiff or furiends over at The Cat On My Head. fur their Sunday Selfie blog hop. It’s Fanksgivin’!!! Well it’s finally here. Yous know what dat means? Dat Christmas is wight wound da corner. OMC Me just luvs Christmas. All da lights and……well, meez gettin’ way ahead of meez selff, so let’s come back to today. As you know weez been makin’ fankfullness postys all week cuz we ran acwoss a hop (dat we then lost and didn’t join or copy da badge) ‘bout shawin’ a fankfullness posty everyday till Fanksgivin’. Me wants to say to all of you dat me weally purreciates yous twyin’ to help me find it again, but alas, we didn’t. But dat’s okay, cuz me found da one fur Fankin’ Blogville on Fanksgivin’ over at Madi’s home, and a Share yous Gwatitude dat runs fwu da 30ff and calls fur 1 posty over at da Kitty Cat Chronicles. Well knowin’ mommy might likely furget again, and dat we wuz alweady postin’ those gwatefull postys, we gwabbed da badge and joined da hop. We wuz gunna post da badge on meez nex posty which wuz yesfurday. Did ya’ see a hop badge? Nope yous suwe didn’t. Cuz as usual mommy furgot again. In hers defense tho’ we wuz sum kinda ‘cited ‘bout da whole Chewy fing. So at this point meez hopin’ dat da blogosphere is not only gwatefull this time of year but also furgivin’.
Anyways, todays hop is fur Fankin’ Blogville. There awe so many fur us to fank dat we kuldn’t pawssibly list you all. And knowin’ mommy she wuld furget sumpawdy. So we wuld very much like to giv a collective Fank you to all of you. Those of you hoo helped us figger out which way wuz up when we first stawted bloggin’. And those of you hoo befuriended us in da beginnin’. We literally only knew 2 bloggers when we got stawted. But here in blogville newcomers awen’t kept at a distance, they’re accepted like a long lost child. You all wrapped your virtual awms wound us and supported us and helped us and showed us such amazin’ kindness and luv. Fur dat we will always be fankful.

As it is Fanksgivin’ we also wanna say a meowsy big Fank you too all ow Facebook furiends too. We wuz there afur here, and there awe so many wunnewful peeps hoo we luv sooo much. We wuz all set fur Fanksgivin’ as usual. A little poorer this year as mommy’s dwivin’ license had spired this year and hers didn’t know fur a kupple mumffs. So, almost $40.00 later, hers legal to dwive again. But ow car tags awe also due. Well weez not weally hav da munny wight now, so mommy’s waitin’ fur nex mumff and hope to get it wiffin da gwace pewiod.
Anyways, me wuz sayin’ dat we wuz all weady fur ow nowmal Fanksgivin’ and today we got sum very sweet Fanksgivin’ cawds. A foo of meez fellow Cat Scouts sent us cawds and one of ow Facebook awnties sent us a cawd. Well in dat cawd there wuz a gift cawd fur us. Since awnty Ann just sent Lexi and me so many pawsum noms and mommy knew it wuld be okay, hers decided to spend a foo of da dollaws and get sumfin’ fur hers to eat and make ow Fanksgivin’ even better. So mommy and me closed da puter and took off to da store and got da very last turkey tom lurkey da store had. WooHoo weez eatin’ tommy turkey today. Fank you so very much awnty Jennifer, gwand awnty Peggy, Moochie, Callie, smokey and Skittles. Mommy’s always happy when weez got all we need, but yous made Lexi and meez day. Cuz weez happy mommy’s got sumfin’ too. And of course hers gunna share wiff us.
