Da fire boomers stawrted last night and da neighborhood garwage band kept everypawdy up half da night. They fink they be weally good but da garwaage is da only place they can get a gig.

Me didn’t mommy, but me was so glad to find dat out cuz hydwation be weally purrtant fur us kitties. Weally it be purrtant fur all animals and hoomans too. Me be getting’ weally ‘cited bout our educational posties this mumff cuz sum of them come wiff pawsum give aways fur you all, our dear sweet furiends. Just you wait and see what’s comin’ up.

It’s finally summer and weez feelin’ da humid heat left behind fwum da mumff of rain we had. But we do have sunpuddles so dat’s nice. And of course we be sittin’ in da house unner centwal air conditionin’. Me wanted to go fur a stwoll yesfurday so mmommy got me all fixed up and in da stwoller. She kept sayin’ fings like, “honey, it’s too hot fur this”, and “Are you sure you want to go out in that heat?” But me just kept mewin’ yes, so out da door we went. OMC Me musta’ been cwazy, cuz we didn’t even get off da porch and me wanted to come back in. Mommy was wight…it was H O T hot. We hope you all be havin’ sum warm dwy wedder and sunpuddles to enjoy all yous own.

As most of ya’ know last mumff was adopt a shelter cat mumff, and lots of kitties found furever homes. Dat’s da good news. But just cuz June be over dusn’t mean dat there awen’t still kitties in need of homes and savin’, cuz there awe. Ms. Katie Kat has those cute little black kitties dat still need to find homes of their own and so many more. We fink everyday be a gweat day to adopt a kitty and save a life. After all when yous adopt yous savin’ 2 lives; da kitty yous bwing home and da one comin’ in and takin’ dat empty cage or open spot in a foster home. One of our pawsum furiends even sed yous savin’ 3 lives, and da 3rd be yous own. Cuz everypawdy knows us kitties have da ability to save you fwum depwession, lonliness, boredom and so many udder fings. And weez got gweat purrs. Purrlease share posties featurin’ adoptable pets. Yous just never know who might see dat posty and find their beloved anipal.

OMC How arr y’all dooin’ tooday? Lexi heer ibin youz not figgered it out yet. Az youz noez I’z had too go too da VET yesfurday, and too beez awnezt, I’z didunt wanna go not one bit. Mommy eeben took a liddull video weez’ll beez shayrin’ wiv ya’. I’z saree ‘bowt da pantin’, da a/c wuzunt werkin’ berry good and it wuz sum kinda hot. Anee wayz weez got der and had too wayt fur an ower afur aneepawdy kaym in too da room. Weez finelee met da nu VET dat werkz wiff Doc C. And weez not like her one bit. She stuck me 4 timez afur getting’ bloodz frum minez awlreddy nekkid neck. And she didunt seem too be aybull to furm an owe-rijinal fawt on herz own. Mommy azked herz a few kweshunz ‘bowt heerz fawtz on CKD and vak-sinayshunz and such, and she kwoeted da partee line weez get frum Doc C. Mommy didunt habz a chanz too pudid da bill in da pooter, but it endid up beein’ lezz dan dey kwoe-did us, it owenlee kawzt $133.74. Korz weez didunt habz it. Soz no mower go-win too da VET till weez get it awl payd. Purray dat weez not get sick or nuffin’, purrleez.

Shopping With a Bit of VET

Well meowllo everypawdy. Me had planned to make a shoppin’ wound da world posty today, but….Mommy hasn’t been shoppin’ in a while and sissy fwu up on da sales papers mommy was gunna use. How do yous like dat? Mommy wasn’t bwave enuff to wipe all dat yuck off da papers so she kuld read ‘em. They just went stwaight to da twash. MOL

I’z kuldunt help it sissy, I’z had a upset tummy and a hairball too.

 

Me knows it wasn’t yous fawlt sissy but there is a pawdee box room full of piddle pads. You kulda went there.

 

I’z kulda Dezi but what fun wood dat habz bin? Mommy woodunt habz skrambulled so too get sumfin’ under me afur it awl kaym out on da karpit.

 

Yeah Lexi mommy duz look funny when she scwambles like dat, dusn’t she?. Anyways, mommy borrowed sum ads fwum our neighbor mr. W and so here’s what we got. Weez have only one store in our town and da next town over has only one store, so weez got da ads fwum them. We have a Super C and Delbert’s, so weez’ll list da purrices in dat order. So da furst item we kuld find was:

73% Gwound Beef (not sumfin’ we wuld eat) Value packed at 20 lbs. is $2.49 and $2.69 a pound. Purrices look good till yous wealize you gotta buy 20 pounds. MOL

 

Next item: Corn on da cob: 3/$1.00 at boff stores..

 

Store bwand hamburger buns: $1.19 wiff a $30.00 purchase and .99 cents at Delbert’s

 

A 9oz bag of Frito’s is: 2/$5.00 at boff stores..

 

And an 8 ounce package of da store bwand lunch meats be $5.49 each at boff stores.

So you kuld make hamburgers or sandwiches wiff these ingwedients. Unfurtunately da stores didn’t have very many of da same fings on sale, so our list is a bit catty wampuss, but there ya’ have it. Weez joinin’ Bacon and Fozziemum fur Shoppin’ wound da world day. What kind of purrices do yous all have? Weez off to da VET fur Lexi so weez’ll be ketchin’ up tomowwo wiff all our visitin’.

Oh meow weez got a gweat tweat to tell you ‘bout today. Chewy asked us to review sum fureeze dwied tweats fwum Orijen this mumff and we got ‘cited. Weez twied a few udder purrodcuts fwum Orijen and fur da most pawrt weez liked ‘em. And as most of you know we luv fureeze dwied tweats. They’re purawlly one of our favowits. But what flavor wuld we be twyin’ this time we wunnewed? Mommy wusn’t tellin’ so when da box awwived we was all over it.

Well yes, Lexi you was da one all over it, but me was close by. Me was just as ‘cited as you to find out what was in it. So mommy opened it up and…Orijen Wild Boar Treats? OMC Dat be what bacon’s made of, wight sissy?

Well there was no waitin’, we wanted a taste wight then. So mommy opened da bag and pulled out a kupple tweats each and offered ‘em to us. What do yous fink sissy? Awe they good?

Now what’s mommy gunna say ‘bout ‘em me wunners? Well to find dat out weez need to find out a bit more ‘bout ‘em. They be 100% single animal source Alberta wild boar. All dat’s in ‘em is wild boar and wild boar liver. They be low calorie and carbohydrate free. And da pieces awe a nice size fur a cats smaller mouff. Altho’ me duz like an even smaller bite, so mommy halved them fur me and sez they was very soft and easily split wiffout crumblin’ all to pieces. Me sez since they be soft in texture they be easy fur older kitties who may not have as many teefies left. And they wuld be easy enuff to cwumble over a meal fur a little entiemnet. And altho’ they do make these tweats fur doggies too, since there be nuffin’ in ‘em but da meat, yous can share wiff yous doggie bwofurs and sisfurs. Orijen gets all it’s ingwedients locally in Canada and then purrpares ‘em wight there too. They don’t outsource. Dat means they make all their purroducts themselves stead of sendin’ it to anudder manufacturer to purrpare, and they don’t make any foods fur any udder companies. Now yous wanna know what mommy sez ‘bout ‘em don’t ya’?
