Well meowllo evewypawdy. It’s anudder Blest Sunday wound here. Hope yous is just as good. As yous all know mommy’s been unpackin’ ow house this past week and she sez she’s makin’ headway. Not suwe zackly what dat means but me can tell ya’ there be a lot less boxes wound here. Hers stawted in da back and is movin’ furward so da livin’ room still looks kinda all packed up, but me reckons hers will get dat today. Hers did find sum mowe messes left by da movers and wuz suwe gwipin’ ‘bout dat, but all in all hers just glad to be seein’ evewyfin’ goin’ back in place.

Well as yous know lots has been goin’ on here lately. Course mommy sez weez keep her on hers toes all da time. Dat be pawt of da weason they be unpadicuwed. Nevew a dull moment in udder words. But weez of course gone fwu a little mowe than usual. And Lexi and me didn’t even hav anyfin’ to do wiff it. Not a fing. But fwu it all mommy has twied to let us keep up wiff ow activities as bestest hers kuld. And wecently we had a quest ovew at da Cat Scouts. And meez patwol led by Wally actually did vewy good. Ifin yous membew weez won da Cat Scout knowledge Bowl. Well at da end weez had a drawin’ and me won this weally cool emergency whistle. And guess what? Little secwet nummew one. It came in da mail this week. It is sooooo cool. Me finks it’s weally gunna come in handy on da nex quest. It’s also got a flashlight, magnifyin’ lens, compass, thermostat and a mirror so me can check to make suwe meez lookin’ good afur seein’ Andy. And then there be secwet nummew two. Do yous know what Den Master sent mommy? Mommy just cwied and cwied. Oh don’t worry, member this be Blest Sunday, so only tears of joy today. Mommy got a certificate of Appweciation fur extwaordinawy efforts in da service of Cat Scouts. Fank yous Den Master fur boff ow gifts. Weez luv ‘em. Yeah yeah me knows. Yous wuz hopin’ da secwet wuz sumfin’ like mommys dun got da house put togedder or sumfin’ like dat wight? Well let me just tell yous this, ifin me and sis Lexi kuld type……well there wuld be no secwets at all. But since mommy duz da typin’ fur me then me can tell hers what to type all day and hers not gunna do it. But weez can tell ya’ anudder one. Well sort of. Weez got a package fwum ow sweet furiends ovew at da Katnip Lounge, and weez puttin’ tugedder a video to show ya’ this week. And weez even won a foo contests wound da blogosphere. One dat excited mommy so much weez kuldn’t even leave a comment. Mommy had to leave and go back. And then hers still kuld bawely type. And then there be one dat got me and Lexi all ‘cited and duin’ da happy dance. But weez’ll tell ya’ mowe ‘bout those when da purrizes get here. Awe weez blest or what?
Then to top it off last night mommy and me wuz twyin’ to catch up on sum of ow reading and hers eyes wusn’t coopurratin’ weal good. Well they kep closin’ and hers head kep bobbin’. Anyways da puter dinged lettin’ mommy know weez had an email, and so weez went to check it out, and mommy read it to herselff at first and then started gigglin’. Me stawted pawin’ at mommys awm to tell me what wuz goin’ on, and then me saw little dwops of salty water wellin’ up in hers eyes and wollin’ down hers cheek. And then hers told me weez got an email fwum Nellie’s mommy dat sed hers wuz sendin’ us a gift cawd fwum amazon and weez wuz to use it to buy sumfin’ fwivolous. First of all mommy had to splain fwivolous to me and then me knew why, cuz anypawdy dat knows meez mommy knows dat weez not weally get to do dat. So a meowsy big fank yous Miss Barb and Nellie. Fanks fur makin’ meez mommy smile and fur yous wunnewful gift. This be a warity so mommy has to fink long and hawd ’bout what to get. MOL

And weez do when we can, but weez hav mumffly pawtment inspections and get in twubble fur havin’ boxes sittin’ wound. They awe considered a fire hazard and bug motel. And of course weez still hav da same purrawllem weez had wiff da cheap steps mommy had owiginally bought. We awe BIG girlys weighing in at 30 pounds EACH. Dat be 60 pounds of kitties. And when weez do zoomies and take a flying leap at da steps (boxes, etc.) yous hav to add 10-15 pounds to each of our weights due to inertia. Sis Lexi has needed help fur a foo years now, so mommy has twied evewyfin’ hers kuld fink of or find as an option, but da solution weally is good solid heavy duty steps. Fank you all again fur all yous help and fur da suggestions.
OMC Time be flyin’ by. Here it is alweady almost da weekend again. Mommy’s makin’ sum headway and we almost hav da whole bedwoom floor back. So since we hav all dat room back again, Lexi and me hav been purracticin’ fur ow vewy own race. Weez been runnin’ at full speed fwu da house. And fur sum weason’ dat just weally amuses mommy. Hers been sittin’ down and watchin’ us and gwinnin’ so much weez fawt hers face wuz stuck. Of course yous all know dat sis Lexi be on up there in years, but hers weally duz play like a yungster. And wiff all da boxes wound hers got all these ladders and steps dat help hers reach fings hers hasn’t been able to jump on by hers selff these last foo years.
So mommy wuz in da kitchen washin’ da bwekky dishes and hers heard da sound of funder wumblin’ fwu da house. Well da last time mommy had looked at da wedder and outside fur dat matter, da sun wuz shinin’ and there wuz no rain in sight. So hers gwabbed da dish towel to dwy hers hands and came to da edge of da dinin’ room where hers wuz met by a flash of white fluff and then a black stweak. Mommy stopped dead and then WHOOSH a flash ob black followed immediately by a flash of white floof and POUND, POUND, SQUISH! Lexi wuz chasin’ me and then me wuz chasin’ hers. And when weez got to da bedroom weez hopped fwum 1 box to da udder and landed on da bed and rolled wound. We boff looked up and saw mommy standin’ at da doorway wiff da dish towel hangin’ fwum hers hand and hers eyes leakin’ all ovew da place. And Lexi and me wuz boff just layin’ there lookin’ at hers and then mommy came ovew and crawled on da bed wiff us and held us close and da wumble of purrs stawted.
Mommy pawlogized fur all da upset weez been fwu lately and da messy house and havin’ all ow stuffs packed up and bein’ cawted off to motels and not havin’ da room to run and play fur so long. And lexi and me nuzzled in a little closer and meowed to mommy. Yous know what weez wuz sayin’? Dat weez didn’t cawe and dat it wuz okay. Cuz da whole time mommy wuz wight there wiff us. And dat’s all weez needed. Now don’t get me wong, weez enjoyin’ gettin’ mowe and mowe of ow pawtment back and bein’ able to play, but weez wuldn’t want it ifin mommy wusn’t here wiff us. Once ow little luv fest wuz ovew, mommy went back to washin’ da dishes and Lexi went to take a nap and me went to watch ovew mommy while hers worked. And of course me had to play in a foo boxes while hers unpacked and wiff a foo toys when hers took bweaks. All in all……a vewy good day. And guess what? Weez gunna do it again tomowwo.
Weez got sum gweat news, but mommy sez weez hav to wait a bit to tell it to yous all. Him’s a handsum mancat to be suwe, and me wuz just a little nervous. But yous know what? Hims wuz da purrfect genltemancat. And me had a blast. Weez hav seen each udder since then at cat scouts and udder functions. Hims even joined me and Lexi fur dinner down in da bayou when da TCC went on a twip. Mommy sez she kuldn’t hav asked fur a better mancat fur me to be datin’. And meez just cwazy ‘bout him. So of course yous know dat duwin’ da last foo mumffs meez hasn’t been wound a lot cuz well, mommy had weally purrtant fings to do to take cawe of us and ow home.

There we wuz goin’ to da motel and not knowin’ ifin weez wuld be able to get good innewnet service, and da weekend afur. mommy had lots of fings to do so me didn’t get to spend much time at Cat Scouts wiff Andy. So me wuz a little sad, but hoped he wuld wait fur me. And then me heard…..meez sweet Andy took hims guitar and went to da campfire and sang this song fur me.

Me wuz so touched dat mommy purrawmissed me kuld meet up and go out and spend sum time wiff hims da nex day. And then even tho’ weez not hav evewyfin’ stwaightened out and put away here, mommy let me go to da Cat Scout cawnival wiff hims this past weekend. And hims won me a kupple stuffed animals. Hims played da stwongman game and won. Of course, me nevew had any doubts. And lissen up, hims so fawtful and sweet he picked out a stuffed kitty fur me dat looked like sis Lexi. Me will fur suwe be spendin’ lots mowe time wiff handsum Andy just as soon as mommy gets da house put back tugedder. And dat better be soon. Meez luv life is on da line here.
Me also has a favor to ask all of yous. Andy’s sisfur Shelly isn’t feelin’ so good and hims mommy gets weally worried when any of them get sick, so ifin yous kuld purray fur Shelly and hims mommy me wuld suwely purreciate it. Now wusn’t dat a sweet posty? And altho’ meez suwe meez gunna miss sumpawdy, but Speedy da cheeky rabbit and Flynn boff need yous purrayers too.

But a foo days hav passed and mommys cleaned da pawdee boxes a gazillion billion quite a foo times since then, and so meez not runnin’ fur da purrverbial hills anymowe.
