Well here it is Tuesday alweady.  We always make a Blest Sunday post until this past week.  And as yous all know wees havin’ lots of twubbles here, ‘tween mommys healff and ow ‘pawtment issues.  So it came tu ow attention that maybe yous wus fnkin’ wees wusn’t feelin’ tu blest this past Sunday.  But that kuldn’t be further fwum da twuff.  So wees decided tu take tuday tu splain just how blest wees awe.  Yous see is not fings or even good times that make us blest.  Wees be blest cuz wees hav each uddew and all of yous.  So YES, WEES AWE BLEST!!!     Wees finished ow story fur da online magazine and shuld hear back fwum them shortly.  Wees will   of course let yous all know when da story goes live.    

Now fur sum Cat Scout news.  As yous knows wees just had a sock hop and it hasn’t been tu long since we went tu da Philippines. Now wees fixin’ tu go on anuddew twip.  Dis time wees be goin’ down intu da bayou on a Riverboat.  Meez so excited.   Me can’t hawdly wait.  Wees even gunna hav a dwess up night.  Wait’ll yous see meez costume.

Me guess yous purrawly wanna cawpet update.  Pawently da cawpet cleaner did what hims sed and wrote down dat ow cawpet wuldn’t hold up and that da paddin’ wus a mess and all torn up.  Da manager came tu ow pawtment yesfurday and sed hers wus gunna put in fur sum paddin’ pieces tu patch da paddin’ under da cawpet.  What?  Is hers an idiot?  Oh well, dat’s da update. Oh and that they wuld be here on Wednesday tu stwetch out da cawpet and that mommy needed tu move all da furniture.  NOT!!! Mommy’s not movin’ all da furniture so that healffy grown men can come in here and du sum sowt of patch job and unravel da alweady unravelin’ cawpet.  Mommy sez is not hers job tu du their job.  MOL          Anyways, that’s all fur tuday.

The apartment manager or the apartment owner ought to have insurance to cover the things that could need maintenance or replacing especially as the water damage was their fault in the first place. Could your Mom’s doctor try to put pressure on the them on her behalf – they might be more compliant if the doctor said the damp made her chest bad or somthing like that.

    1. They du hav insuwance fur this kind of fing but they will collect da munny and not du da work. They du that a lot. And no they rarely pay attention to doctors notes in these matters. Mommy’s talkin’ tu hers lawyer ‘but it, but wees not hopeful they will du da wight fing. Wees of course will keep evewpawdy updated a wees know mowe.

  3. That is just horrible about the carpet problem. The manager should make arrangements to fix the carpet for sure. We just hope it all works out for you.

  4. Hi Dezi. That apartment manager lady is really something. The carpeting needs to be replaced and she knows it. Why be so mean? We hope things work out. The Riverboat Cruise is gonna be so much fun!

  5. Well, I think it’s shameful that the apartment people aren’t replacing that carpet – it’s a health hazard AND a safety issue – patching things up could lead to a fall or worse. Silly people….good grief….well, whatcha gonna do. Guess you and Lexi will just have to keep a CLOSE EYE on your Mom! Can’t wait for the riverboat trip and to see your costume for the buffet….I bet you look ravishing as a little Southern Belle!

  6. I can’t wait to see about the story.
    How exciting – a Riverboat down the bayou. You’ll have to let us hear all about that and see pictures of your costume.
    I can’t believe that the apartment manager is just going to do a patch job on the carpet. And NO, Mommy does not need to be moving furniture around for that. I hope they tell that woman that a patch job won’t work and you can get some new carpet put in.
