Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw Fanky fanks sissy. I’s glad you had a good time and liked your pawrty. It was a lotta work and put us way behind in visitin’ our furiends, but ifin you’re happy, it was worth it. Meowin’ of visitin’ our furiends, we’re slowly but surely gettin’ caught up. However, our comments seem to disappear on some of your bloggy’s includin’ the wordpress ones. Now that might be cuz you’re monitorin’ ‘em, but ifin you’re not and don’t see a comment from us in the next few days, purrlease let us know, so we can try to figger out what’s happenin’. You might wanna check your spam folder furst tho’, we have ended up there in the past.
Yeah Raena, me hates it when we get behind. Fankfully most of our furiends unnerstand. On another note, me’s joinin’ the choir at cat scouts, so mommy’s tryin’ to help me record me’s audition track. And me told her she owed our furiends her rendition of Amazing Grace and at least a couple of country songs that they asked fur last year. Now that she has teeth again, she can form words and sing. So it’s gonna be a little busy ‘round here fur the next couple of weeks.
I’s just luvs it when mommy sings sissy. ‘Specially when she sings ‘bout us. She makes up the bestest songs ever.
Me likes it too Raena. But sometimes, the songs she makes up could use a little work. Ya’ know like when she sings, Dezi, sweet as apple pie? Like, is apple pie even sweet? We don’t even like apples.
Yeah well, ya’ might have a point there sissy. I’s not sure ‘bout bein’ her punkin’ pie either; but I’s do luvs it when she says we’re purrfect and her purrecious baby girls.
Me kind’a likes those pawrts too Raena. We really are Blest. Ya’ know, the holidays are here and peeps are startin’ to get really busy.
Sure ‘nuff sissy. I’s had mine’s thinkin’ cap on lately and I’s thinkin’ we should post a gift guide with our top picks. Mommy even received this cool new notebook fur furee, to keep track of all our plans and picks. Hey everypawdy, it’s me RaenaBelle. Are ya’ll ready to pawrty?!! Well come on in and let’s celebrate. There’s food and fun fur everyone. I’s gotta tell ya’, you all look pawsitively gawjus in your masks. Sissy and I’s wanna fanky fank all of ya’ fur comin’ to celebrate with us. 9 years ago on November 1st, sis Dezi came into this world; and a couple of weeks later on the 22nd of November, she chose mommy to save her and be her furever mommy.
That’s true Raena. Me had no idea what me’s life was gonna be like that day; but me knew without any doubt that me belonged with mommy. Our life hasn’t always been easy or fun, but it’s the bestest life this kitty girl could have ever asked fur. Me got an amazin’ sissyfur in Lexi; and she innerduced me to this pawsum world of the innernet and all our furiends. Everypawdy come on in and make yourself at home.
Look’it sissy, I’s got an ice cream truck to come by so everypawdy could choose their favorite. You can even have seconds or thirds. (Raena giggles as she wipes a smidge of ice cream from her whiskers)

Well sissy, I’s had to try it out and make sure the ice cream man brought the good stuffs. I’s also hired a caterer to cook us up some tasty eats on the grill and bring veggie platters fur those who don’t eat meat. Don’t worry, ifin ya’ purrfur your meat raw, just let the grill master know. We don’t drink, so the catnip teas and nip juleps are the strongest drinks we have, but who needs alcohol to have fun…right?.

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. The colds are here. We went to bed last night with the air conditioner on and woke up as frozen pawp-sicles. Even mommy’s purrsonal summers didn’t keep her from shiverin’. She says that’s what happens at 17°. Even sissy got in on the cuddlin’.
Of course me did Raena. It was cold, what’d you x’pect me to do?
I’s don’t know sissy, you’re the one always complainin’ ‘bout me wantin’ to cuddle. You always meow that cuddlin’ with me makes you too hot.
Me wasn’t cuddlin’ with you Raena, me was cuddlin’ with mommy. You just happened to be in the same vicinity. MOL Anyways, me’s hopin’ mommy turns on the ‘lectric fireplace soon. Me luvs layin’ in front of it durin’ the cold ugly days of winter.
The ‘lectric fireplace? Is it new sissy? I’s don’t seem to ‘member a fireplace.
Nah Raena, it ain’t new. You purrobably don’t ‘member it cuz the lights burned out last year. But, mommy put new lights in it this year, so it should look fine now. We can enjoy the lights right along with it’s heat.

Raena: Really sissy? What’s so special ‘bout today?
Dezi: It’s Veteran’s Day, Raena. A day we take to ‘member the soldiers who fought, and many gave their lives so we could be free from tyranny. So many brave men, women and anipals gave their lives on distant shores, so that loved ones and even strangers like us could live our lives free from fear of wars in our own home. Me thinks we furget how things could be. We’ve been free fur so long that me thinks we sometimes take our Country’s greatness and freedoms fur granted.
Raena: I’s think you’re right sissy. It’s not purretty to think ‘bout young men, women and anipals lying in a trench on some foreign soil bleeding and dying. To think ‘bout them bein’ lonely and scared, and away from their families and loved ones; not knowin’ ifin they’ll ever see them again. To think ‘bout them swearin’ an oath to purrtect us…to die fur complete strangers. Soldiers who never gave a second thought to goin’ to bad places and facin’ bad people. Standing their ground and sayin’ “As long as I’m here, no one is going to hurt you”.
Dezi: So true Raena. There’s so much hate and discord in our Country right now. So many peeps sayin’ and doin’ things that would get them thrown into prison or killed in lesser Countries. Peeps tryin’ to take away the very freedoms that those soldiers bled and died for. The truth is, it’s a slap in the face, it’s like spittin’ on the graves of all those who bravely fought and lost their lives to secure those freedoms and make our Country great. It makes us so sad to hear ‘bout our vets bein’ treated badly.
Raena: I’s think all those soldiers who died to make America great are turnin’ over in their graves at some of the nonsense goin’ on right now, sissy. In our house, we bleed red white and blue. We honor our flag and each and every soldier who willingly defends/defended our Country and us from our enemies. We are so Blest to have been born in such an amazing Country. We are Blest to have a mommy who has taught us the price that was paid to make our Nation great.
Dezi: Yes Raena, we are indeed Blest. We fank and salute each and every veteran and their families today and every day. We fank each and every soldier who serves us now. You may not know us, and we may not know your name, but we ask God to Bless and keep you each day. While you’re watchin’ over us, God is watchin’ over you.
