MeOW-llo Furiends. Hurry Raena, ifin we can post befur midnight, it’ll still be Blest Sunday. C’mon, quit stuffin’ your face, and let’s get to our Blessings. Ya’ act like you ain’t ate in weeks.

 

 

 

          Well sissy, our schedule’s been all over the place fur the last several days. Ya’ gotta eat while the eating’s good. Ya’ never know what we might be doin’ next.   

 

Raena, you know why our schedule’s been all messed up, don’t you?   

 

          ‘Course I’s do sissy. Still, I’s like to eat. I’s sorry that mommy’s had the sads, but mine’s tummy still wants groceries. Did you taste that taco mommy brought us the night we checked into our temporary ranch digs? I’s thinkin’ I’s might like tacos more than I’s like pizza. I’s can’t be sure tho’, so we might have to get mommy to order us a pizza and get some more tacos so we can have an official taste test.  

 

Yep, Mine’s allergies got bad and mine’s eye filled with goop.

 

 

 

Hmmmmpht  You would like tacos, silly. Trust me, pizza is still better. Did you get a load of the size of that bed? Kittens!!! Me doesn’t think we even touched half of it.    

 

          Well sissy, you might not have, but I’s rolled on every inch of that thing. It was huuuuuuuuge. I’s didn’t know they made beds that big. You seemed to be really fond of the view from our big window overlookin’ Main street. Did ya’ see anythin’ innerestin’?  

 

It was a great view Raena. Even tho’ mommy said the town had grown so much since she lived there, seems not much happens…least not on Main street. Whether anythin’ was happenin’ or not, me knows how much mommy ‘purreciated our special Angel awnty, awnty Lene and uncle Pete, Timmy and the gang fur helpin’ her to get to Seminole fur her mother’s funeral. Mommy says funerals are not ‘bout the purrson bein’ buried, but fur those left behind. Bein’ there helped mommy get somethin’ called closure. Me’s not sure what that means, but mommy seems to be at peace ‘bout it and me knows she fur sure needed that.  

 

 

 

 

          Yeah sissy, I’s don’t quite unnerstand it all either, but mommy learned quite a bit ‘bout the goings on in her family. Seems mommy’s mother had a brother and 2 sisters; mommy’s uncle and awnties. Mommy had known all of them. One sister went to heaven many years ago. But, ‘pawrently the other one went to heaven just a few months ago. We are very sorry fur the family’s loss; we didn’t know. The brother/uncle is doin’ well. Anyways, we don’t wanna bore everypawdy with all the deets, we just wanna say a meowsy big Fanky fank you to our Trip Angels fur helpin’ us go and to all of you fur your luv, suppurrt, purrayers and patience so we could take a few days to grieve and get ourselves back together again. We do have lots of Trip stories to tell tho’.    

 

Ain’t that the truth Raena. What an adventure we had. We’ve gotta take a little time to collect our thoughts and write it all out, but fur sure, we’ll be tellin’ ya’ll all ‘bout it.    

 

 

 

 

          Fur now tho’, we just wanted to paw in and let everypawdy know we’re back home safe and sound. Mommy’s more than tired, so we’re gonna take good care of her so she can back to herself again and help us visit with our furiends. I’s fanky fankful fur our trip, and the nice hotel we stayed at, and the tacos and…

Ifin we’ve learned anythin’ this week, it’s that life is short. None of us are guaranteed a tomorrow, so purrlease don’t let a day go by without stoppin’ to take in the Blessings you’ve been given. Thank you all fur being Blessings in ours.
