Hey everypawdy, it’s I’s, RaenaBelle. We sure hope ya’ll are doing well. It’s been stormin’ here like crazy. Y, The thunder boomers even made mommy jump outta her seat this meownin’. Yep, it was so loud she jolted straight up from her chair. I’s don’t think I’s ever seen mommy move that fast. Of course, ya’ know where that puts sis Dezi…UTB (under the bed).

 

 

 

          (Dezi yells from the hall) Me’s not unner the bed RaenaBelle…well except fur that one time. Kittens!!! Ifin it scared mommy, me’s thinkin’ we should be afraid too, ya’ know? Otherwise, me’s been hangin’ purretty close to you and mommy, even tho’ the skies won’t stop grumbling.  

 

Well sissy, come to think of it, you have been hanging out more offen. You have to admit, there’s really nuffin’ to be afraid of, it’s mostly just noisy and annoying. And, as soon as mommy realized it was just thunder boomers, she sat back down. Anyways…I’s so happy we finally got mine’s birthday pizza, aren’t you? With the car broke, I’s was beginning to think I’s would never get it. 

 

 

 

          Yeah Raena, it was quite tasty. And me’s sure mommy ‘purreciated us sharin’ with her since her birthday’s Wednesday. Fankfully, Spook and Jubal’s mommy took mommy to pick up her medicine the other day and let her stop at the pizza hut to get the pizza. 

 

 

 

 

Yep sissy, that was a double Blessing. Meowing of Spook and Jubal, some of ya’ have been askin’ ifin they were pregnant or fat. They’re both “fixed” whatever that means. Spook is actually Jubal’s mommy and Jubal be a boy so he can’t actually get preggers. Least that’s what mommy says. We thought you might enjoy seeing them together. We cut Mrs. N’s head off cuz she doesn’t want her face posted.  

 

 

 

 

          We do worry ‘bout them running around outside. Mommy keeps trying, but Mrs. N says she doesn’t wanna be mean and keep them inside all the time. So, they spend lots of time down here in our garden.  

 

 

 

 

That they do sissy. Anyways, tomorrow is Memorial Day. A day we celebrate all those Service men and women and even anipals who fought and died fur our freedoms and to keep us safe. We’ve been walking a fine line lately with the government somewhat infringing on the rights of American citizens in the name of safety. Remembering the reason those soldiers fought and died has never been so real in our lifetime. We’re not negating the need for safety, we’re just saying, this is America where the government works for the people, not the other way around. But enuff about pawlitics, we wanna say a huge fanky fank you to all those who fought to make America great and free. We honor your memory and your fight.  

 

 

 

 

          And Raena, we also fank all who serve and have served. We ‘purreciate your sacrifice and that of your families. God Bless America!!! (Dezi, Raena and mommy A bow their heads in a moment of silence and quiet prayer) Now Raena, what are we gonna do fur mommy’s birthday? 

 

I’s don’t know sissy, I’s was just planning on giving her more cuddles. But I’s do that every day. That’s one of mine’s favorite things to do, and she always tells me how much she luvs spendin’ time with me. She tells me how much of a Blessing I’s am, and I’s fur sure think she’s mine’s Blessing.  

 

 

 

 

          Yeah Raena, we really are Blest to have a luvvin’ mommy. And, the bestest furiends in the universe. We luv you all so very much. We’ve been sayin’ extra purrayers fur all of you during these trying times. Guess me will head over to the Kitties Blue and link us up fur Sunday Selfies.
