Blest Sunday: Are Cooties Real

Hey, hey dearest furiends, how’ve ya’ been? What a week we’ve all had. So many were hit by the terrible snows that fell from the skies. Thanky thankfully, we never lost our power like so many in our neighboring Texas did. But, we had colds the likes I’ve never seen and that mommy says doesn’t happen very often in our neck of the woods. We kept an eye out fur the ginger tommy, but he never showed up. We did get a visit from one of the bobcats from the woods out back, but it must’ve been late at night. So, we didn’t get any fotos or offur him anything to eat.

Thankfully baby, the snow’s starting to melt and the temps are climbing back up. We’re just not used to that kind of cold, are we?

We sure aren’t mommy. And, I’s tell ya’, it can stay away fur the rest of mine’s life. (Mommy A giggles) Altho’, it did give me a reason to spend lots of time cuddling in your lap.

And when have you ever needed a reason for lap cuddles honey? People are gonna think I never take any new photos because all the photos we have lately are you laying in my lap.

Well mommy, I’s can tell ‘em, you take new fotos every day. I’s can’t help it ifin I’s like to spend mine’s time in your lap. You know that’s mine’s favorite spot in the whole world. In other news, it’s official. Mommy has officially started the search fur mine’s helper. And, she’s decided I’s need a brofur. Can you believe it? A boy? What’s gonna happen to the Three Belles Ranch? What, now it’s gonna be Two Belles and a Beau? I’s…wait a minute, that sounds kind’a cool. Hmmmmm  Maybe this brofur thing won’t be too bad after all. Mommy said that mine’s alpha tortitude would probably be more suited to a nice laid back boy, so hopefully, there’s a sweet tommy out there looking fur us. I’s got mine’s eyes checking out every link and foto mommy oohs and aahs over.

Don’t worry sweety, you’ll still be the queen of my heart. I’m sure the right brother will show up and fit in perfectly.

(Raena licks her paw and wipes it across her face) Well, all I’s can say, is he better pull his weight and he better not have cooties.

Cooties? What in the world are you meowing about? Do you even know what cooties are?

Well no, but I’s heard lots of kitties who got new brofurs and sisfurs meowing about them having cooties. I’s just don’t want cooties, they can’t be good.

Raena lays on scratcher

(Mommy A shakes her head and chuckles under her breath) I’m sure you don’t have anything to worry about honey.

Well, good. I’s also wanna shout out a meowsy big thanky thank you to awnty Anonymous fur the green papers. We’re still trying to get a reliable vehicle, so ifin you can help, we’d appreciate it. You can donate thru our paypal here. I’s joining the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies from mine’s favorite spot…mommies lap. I’s one Blest kitty girl to be sure. We have the bestest furiends in the universe.

  • Well Raena, brothers are cool, you can have mine. Just kidding, we all love Simon. Hey, you don’t have to worry about cooties, they all work in Washington D.C. Love ya sweetie!

  • Well we are to get more snow tonight and it was down to -2 degrees this morning. Brrr.
Raena, I’m sure you have nothing to worry about. A Brofur sounds interesting. Hope you find the one you want and without cooties MOL,LOL, giggle giggle.

  • We have watch the winter sweep over America with amazement and concern. We have so many friends there and suddenly the whole of Texas is covered in SNOW oh my Cat.

    Stay safe.

  • Well, I got lucky in the sisfur department, ’cause my two sisfurs aren’t mean, bitey, or pushy, and they are OK with sharing. I bet your momma can find you a brofur that is good to you and doesn’t try to push his weight around or try to run the house. Hugs and luvs.

  • Oh, my but we are glad your power stayed on.
Lap time is never wasted!! But well, Benji never climbs up there, but I, Dalton so at times:)

Hope the bad weather keeps away. It can be so disruptive and naughty, like a two year old with a tantrum, MOL!

Your selfies are wonderful Raena! And a brofur?? OMC, that would be super-duper…and since we hooligans are boy-pups and so was our Pipo, well, we DO NOT have cooties, LOL, LOL!

  • We are so glad that you didn’t lose power during that awful cold. Dad’s brother lives in Houston and he lost power for three days, He has a generator and so he was able to keep some heat on and the refrigerator working but he began to be concerned that he would run out of propane. (He didn’t but it was close) His Cat Smokey spent almost all of the time in his lap and they kept each other warm!
We are wishing a Blest Sunday and purring that you find just the right brother to be your helper!
Purrs and hugs from Pete and Dad Mike!

Please take a minute to let us know what you think., We love to hear from you.
