Hey dearest furiends, welcome to Blest Sunday from the Two Belles and a Beau Ranch. You know, the used to be Three Belles Ranch befur mommy went and brought a boy home. (shakes head) Sometimes I’s just don’t know what mommy’s thinking. I’s mean, are all boys messy? Kittens!!! Mommy used the carpet monster on the floors the other day and as soon as Zebby was sat down, the floor was a mess again. Doesn’t he know us kitties like clean?

          Are you talking about me Raena? Cuz you know I’s right here. I’s can hear everything you’re saying.

Good!!! Maybe some of our furiends can teach you a thing or two about being a bit cleaner. Anyways, I’s gotta tell ya’ll about a funny that happened this week. As you know, mommy specialized in raising bottle baby kittens. She’s trained purrlenty of cats over the years to not only be service cats, but just to be well behaved kitties. Mommy luvs redirection fur training kittens. You know, they don’t know the rules yet and have to be taught. But, every once in a while, even the best redirection doesn’t stop a mouthy kitten. So, one of mommy’s go to’s fur training kittens not to bite is that she bites back. You know, a gentle nip on the ear usually stops kittens in their tracks. That is after all how they’d learn ifin they had littermates or a mommy cat.

So, the other night, Zebby was playing in mommy’s lap and he kept biting her fingers and arms. She kept offering one of his favorite mousies that awnty Vonda had sent, but he quickly returned to biting mommy’s fingers. So, she bent down and “bit” his ear. Only…nothing happened. Ifin you’ll remember, mommy has dentures now. It was late and she had already taken them out fur the day. So, when she bit down, there were no teethies to actually make contact. As soon as she realized what had happened, she let out a huge belly laugh that stopped Zebby flat. He might not have gotten the bite, but he did get the message. MOL

          What?!! You mean mommy wasn’t gonna kiss me, she was gonna bite me? That doesn’t seem very nice.

Neither is biting Zeb. Ya’ gotta learn the rules. Anyways, we better get to it. We’re running way behind today. Mrs. N called the ambulance this morning and let Jubal out while they were here. She called mommy to go out and find him and bring him back home. So, mommy had to go out in the storm and slop around in the mud and the woods to bring him home. Purrlease folks, don’t let your kitties go outside without a harness and leash with you attached at the other end. Ifin they don’t get used to it, these kinds of things are less likely to happen. We don’t even want to think about what could’ve happened to Jubal ifin mommy hadn’t found him and he hadn’t minded her. There are a lot of predators living in our woods. Y, we had a snake in the house just this week, so sometimes they get inside. But, that’s a rarity. The woods are their home tho’.

          A snake? I’s missed the snake? Hey Raena, don’t we get to show off the cool stuffs that came in the mail this week? I’s sure mommy said it was a Blessing that we counted each week.

OMC IS this fur me?

Yes Zebby, we do. We wanna thanky thank awnty Ellen fur the pawsum gifts. She sent me a cool new toy. Don’t worry, I’s sharing with Zebby, just check out the video. And, she even sent mommy a couple of birthday gifts. Ya’ know, mommy’s birthday will be here in a couple of weeks. She was so excited to get a cutesy kitty coloring book and she got this adorable kitty contact lens holder. She uses the cheapy Wally World contacts and now she has something adorable to keep them in. Don’t worry, she says the cheapy contacts are just as good as the expensive ones and they help her see. That’s the most impurrtant pawrt.

          I’s thankful too awnty Ellen. I’s didn’t know what a present was when mommy said we got one. The great mousies I’s luvs were actually sent to RaenaBelle at Christmas, and she saved them knowing I’s would be coming someday. She says that when I’s old enuff, I’s have a really pawsum toy called a nip nanner to look furward too. I’s don’t know why I’s have to wait, but she says I’s not old enuff to truly enjoy it right now. I’s say, she doesn’t know what I’s might like, but mommy seems to agree with her. So, I’s out voted. Not that it really matters, I’s such a Blest kitty boy to have such a pawsum mommy and sisfur and all of you. Who could’ve ever guessed this scared little kittyboy cowering in a litterbox in a cage would ever be so Blest.
