Meez has lots mowe funny stowwys ’bout meez and da fone and meez in genewal, but mommy fawt it wuld be bettew ifin wes’ went ahead and told you ’bout sum of da uddew stuff meez dus and den wes’ kuld come back and tell mowe funny stowwys.  Not dat twainin’ wusn’t fun and funny sumtimes as you will soon wead.  Meez fawt dat we shuld also tell you dat wes’ don’t covew evew minute of twainin’ so meez blog is not intended tu be a twainin’ manual.  But ifin der’s sumfin yous wuld like tu know more ’bout or need help wiff you can always contact us by email and mommy will twy tu help you.  And maybe we will covew it in meez blog.  Wes’ luv heawin’ fwum ya’ll.  All questions and comments awe welkum.  Well wiff all of mommys purrawlems hers medicine weaws off duwin da nite and hers can’t move so good in da meownins.  so hers doctow owdewed her a wheelchaiw tu use.  Back when mommy fiwst got da wheelchaiw hers got ‘wound a bit bettew, but now a days hers weally can’t move below hers neck when she fiwst wakes up.   So it’s ow job tu massage hers awms so she can move dem, and hers legs so she can move dem a little and den get her intu da wheelchaiw and tu da pawdee box woom fur….well yous know and den tu da kitchen so she an make us bwekky.  🙂 So meez got da massage down pat, and even tho’ it’s not pawt of dis, meez gweat wiff da fone. MOL   So now is time fur meez tu leawn tu dwive da wheelchaiw. 

 

Sis Lexi told lots of stowwys ’bout meez and da wheelchaiw so meez gunna twy not tu wepeat ’em here.  Altho’ dey may sound similaw cuz well, it’s not like those things only hapund once or twice. MOL    As mommy stated in da wadio innewview, wes’ dwive da wheelchaiw wiff ow moufs on da joystick.  So mommy put meez in her lap and gently pushed meez head down so dat mees bit da joystick. and den mommy gently pushed meez head fowawd and da chaiw moved. (mommy had alweady tuwned it on)  Well dat scawed meez and so me jumped down and wan.  Meez didn’t go vewy faw, and den meez tuwned wound tu see ifin da chaiw wus still movin’.   Fank fully it had stopped and mommy wus callin’ meez tu come back tu her.  Well meez luvs mommy mowe den meez fwaid, so me went wight back ovew and jumped back up in mommys lap.  Hers luved on me a bit and den put meez head back down ovew da joystick.  Meez pushed back against mommy and hers cooed at meez until me bit da joystick again.  Dis time wes’ didn’t move, and mommy let meez go. Wes’ did dis a foo mowe times afuw da chaiw stawted movin’ again and meez didn’t wun.  Next meez has tu leawn tu dwive da wheelchaiw all by meez self. 🙂  Now we’s in fuw sum fun. Dezi Luvs da Fone

Well so meez leawned tu use da fone tu call 911 in case of an emewgency.  Da nex task wus tu leawn tu bwing da fone tu mommy when hers wus still awake but kuldn’t get tu it herself.  Lexi and meez awe mommys ‘fallen and can’t get up buttons.’ MOL   So mommy put a stwing on da fone and began meez twainin’.  Once wes’ know how tu bwing da fone, we use da belt loop attachment stead of stwing.  Mommy wuld wait til da fone wuld wing and den call meez ovew and giv meez da stwing and den tell me tu giv her da fone and den hers wuld take da stwing back.  And she wuld sleep wiff da fone and in da meownins when meez wuld cwawl up on hers chest she wuld giv me da stwing and tell meez tu giv it tu her.  Evewday da stwing wuld get a little showtew  until it wus wight on da fone.  By dis time meez wus big nuff tu cawwy da fone in meez mouf.  Meez wuld watch Lexi cawwy da fone tu mommy and ifin sumpawdy called in da meownins afur mommy kuld get ’round meez wuld watch Lexi help mommy and hold da fone fur her.  Shes wuld lay up against da fone so it wuld stay in place by mommys eaw.  Well meez fawt dat dis wus weally fun.  and sumtimes meez wuld hit da button and a voice wuld stawt talkin tu me.  Meez luvs tu visit and dis wus sumfin new.   So meez stawted twyin’ tu ‘answew’  and bwing mommy da fone evewtime it wang.  Even when mommy didn’t need meez tu.  And sumtimes it wusn’t convenient fur mommy. mol

 

More den once meez got da fone and pawed da talk button when mommy wus……unavailable. MOL   One aftewnoon mommy wus in da pawdee box woom and of couwse meez wus der wiff her.  You know da unspoken wule dat sez yous can’t go tu da pawdee by youself, wight?! MOL   Meez wus eyein’ da pawdee box meself when suddenly da fone wang.  Meez knew mommy kuldn’t get tu it fast nuff so off me wan.  Sis Lexi wus layin’ on da vanity and hers meowed at me as meez wan fur da fone, and mommy wus twyin’ tu get up and hollewin’ “Dezi, leave the phone alone honey.  Sweety come back here and go tu the pawdee box.  Dezi, purrlease.”  But meez didn’t listen and meez got da fone and stawted back tu da pawdee box woom wiff it.  Mommy hollewed agin fur meez tu dwop da fone, so dis time meez did.   Meez looked at mommy and den at da fone and it wus still wingin’, so meez pawed da big button dat makes voices come out of it.  And at dat moment mommy wus hollewein, “Dezi dear I’m on the pawdee and I don’t want the phone in the bathroom.”   Den mommy heawd a voice comin’ outta da fone sayin’ , “I’ll call back.”   Mommy sed fankfully dis time it wus hers case managew/nuwse.  Uddew wise hers wulda been weally embawased.  mol  Of couws dis wusn’t da fiwst time meez had dun dis and wuldn’t be da last.  So, twain yous kitty at yous own wisk.         Til da nex time, Hav a Pawsum day!!

Dezi Has a Special Bond

Well is finally time fur meez tu stawt tellin’ you all ’bout meez!!!  Dis is me favowit topic. MOL  Ifin yous wead meez blog fwum da beginnin’ den yous’ know dat mommy wescued meez fwum a vewy bad bweedew and meez wus da wunt of da littew.  Meez  wus vewy sickly when me came tu liv hewe at almost 4 weeks old. Meez didn’t eat weal food yet and meez wus all wowmy.  Da bweedew had just ’bout killed me and meez littew mates wif OTC wowmews; and da wong ones at dat.  But me didn’t know how good meez wus gunna hav it.   Mommy took me home wiff hers and cleaned meez all up and gav meez a bottle and tawt meez how tu eat and use da pawdee box, and meez luved hers vewy much.  Aftew all meez chose her not da uddew way wownd.  Yous’ can wead a showt bio ’bout meez here. Lexi will tell hers fwum her point of view just like shes’ did on facebook.  It’s just takin’ us a little bit tu leawn how evewfin’ works here. Der’s lots of fings we’s wanna du, just gotta figgew it all out. MOL

 

So one day mommy wus in da kitchen makin’ hers a dwink (just a coke. mol) and meez wus layin’ in da floow waitin’ on hers. Meez nevew wants tu be faw fwum mommy. 🙂  Anyway, meez felt dat sumfin wus wong.  So meez got up and went ovew tu mommy and stawted pawin’ at hers ankle (dat’s all me kuld weach) and skweekin’ and tuwnin’ wownd and wownd.  Well mommy fawt meez wus so cute and hers luved meez so much dat hers weached down and picked meez up and stawted kissin’ me.  Me gotta tell ya’ dat meez luvs sum kisses, but sumfin bad wus gunna hapun.  And even tho’ meez didn’t know what,  meez had tu wawn mommy.  So meez stawted pushin’ mommy away and pattin’ hers face and skweekin’ still.  Mommy put meez back down and….now what, hers twied tu giv meez tweats.  Meez just kep pawin’ at hers and dancin’ wownd, and den it hapund.  Mommy lost all da colow in hers face and hers started wockin’ and den hers looked down at me and smiled and den, BOOM!! Wight on da floow she’s went.  Meez wus vewy scawed but meez didn’t wanna leav mommy eevew, so meez stayed and laid down aside hers and stawted purrin’.  It seemed like mommy wus der fuwevew so meez muved tu hers chest and stawted pattin and lickin’ hers face.  Dat’s da site mommy saw when hers came tu. MOL  Mommy still didn’t know what wus goin’ on wiff meez but hers gave me lots of luvin’ and dat wus okay tu. 🙂

 

A foo days latew, meez felt dat feelin’ agin and new sumfin bad wus gunna hapun. Dis time meez new what dat wus, but meez didn’t know what it wus called. Meez agin stawted pawin’ at mommy and skweekin’ and dancin’ wownd agin.  Mommy still didn’t listen tu meez, and down hers went agin. MOL  A foo more times, and mommy finally got da message me wus sendin’ hers. Meez knew dat hers wus gunna pass out afur hers did it.  Almost 30 minutes afur.  And once hers stawted payin’ tention tu meez den hers saved herself a many a bwuise and a dates wiff da floow. MOL  Mommy did sum weseawch and leawned dat animals can smell changes in body chemistwy. In uddew wowds wes’ know when yous’ sick. It’s da same way wes’ know is gunna wain or da winds gunna blow and da like.  Der are odow and tepewatuwe changes in da body dat wes’ smell and sense. Dat’s made meez able tu know when mommy’s gunna pass out, and meez luvs hers so much meez wants tu tell hers dat it’s gunna hapun.  Mommy has named what meez du tu tell her, ‘da dance’.     Dat’s just pawt of meez special bond wif mommy.      Meez got lots more tu tell, but til da nex time; Hav a Pawsum Day!!!

Lexi Learns tu be a Service Cat!!

Well meez vewy glad you’s all enjoyed weadin’ ’bout Shad. Aftew Shad went tu heaven mommy got anuddew kitty and twained him tu du da fings dat Shad had dun.  Mommy also volunteewed wif a wescue gwoup and hers specialized in kitty’s wif no mommy.  And dat’s where Lexi comes in. You’s can wead a bwief bio. ’bout hers stawt in life here  (https://dezizworld.wordpress.com/2014/02/22/)   As sum of you’s know, Lexi is 10 yeaws oldew den meez and since hers helped mommy teach meez how tu be a Service kitty, den meez fawt you’s shuld here a bit ’bout hers twainin’. We’s bof giv mommy massages evew day. Ow massages are bettew known as ‘makin’ biskits’, kneadin’, etc., but when focused on a pawticulaw awea at a specified time, den is called a ‘massage’. Well fur most kitty’s dis action comes natuwally, and it weally duz ifin a kitty gwows up wifout a fur mommy. So all mommy had tu du wus twain a natuwal action tu be dun when hers wanted and where hers wanted. Lexi luved mommy vewy much and hers wanted tu purrlease mommy. So mommy wuld take Lexi and  lay down and put Lexi abuv hers head and den mommy wuld coo at hers. Dis wuld cause Lexi tu stawt purrin’ and massagin’ at mommy’s head. By da way, dis is pawsum fur migwaine headaches. Anyways, didn’t take long and Lexi wus a mastew at da massage and wuld take hers place at mommy’s head anytime mommy wuld lay down.

 

Massage mastewed, Lexi wus ontu biggew fings. MOL It wus time fur hers tu help wiff mommy’s showews. One kitty wusn’t able tu pull or push mommy outta da tub, but 2 kitty’s, well 2 kitty’s kuld du lots more. Once Lexi wus big ’nuff tu hold hers own den she’s wus spected tu help out da wesident cats. Devon and Lucky (Devon wus da kitty mommy wescued aftew Shad died and Lucky adopted mommy fwum a littew hers waised while volunteerin’, hims wus 28 days oldew den Lexi. Bof  da boys were well twained. (Dey hav bof gone on tu heaven so meez won’t be covewin’ der twainin’).  So, Lexi had been watchin’ da boys wiff mommy in da showew fur a foo munfs, and hers watched as Lucky wus twained, but hers just nevew twied tu help out. Well dis day, Lucky stayed in da bedwoom when mommy went tu take a showew, and mommy and Devon and Lexi all went tu da pawdee box woom. As usual, mommy got intu da showew and den, well it hapund. Down hers went, and Devon jumped in da tub wight away and meowed fur Lexi tu du da same. Lexi didn’t wanna get wet, and hers didn’t know what tu du. She’s luved mommy so much and mommy had taken such good cawe of hers so in she’s jumped. Just den Lucky showed up and jumped in tu. Deys all meowed at each uddew and Devon got undew one of mommy’s awms and Lucky and Lexi got undew da uddew arm and deys all pushed until mommy’s uppew body and awms wus hangin obew da edge ob da tub. Lexi stawted pawin’ and lickin’ mommy’s face til hers came tu. Didn’t take long, and Lexi wus old hat at da showew and hers and Lucky finally got big ’nuff tu help mommy alone. 

 

Lexi also leawned tu dial 911 and dwive da wheelchaiw and bwing mommy small items. Mommy tawt hers these fings so meez gunna just tell you’s all ’bout these wiff meez twainin’. Meez had tu giv you’s all a little back stowwy afuw me kuld stawt tellin’ meez stowwy, but now is time. 🙂 So tune in tumowwo fur da beginnin’ of meez twainin’ tu leawn tu be a Service Cat.       Til da nex time, Hav a Pawsum day!!
