Restin’ After Wednesday, pt 1

Meez  got so many extwa hugs yesfurday  meez wus on cloud nine. 😀  Meez also had an adventuwe.  Wees stawted ow day purretty much da same as any uddew day sep wees had tu go tu mommys doctow.  So yes, meez behind again wiff meez visitin’.  Meez purrawmisses wees will get by yous blogs and visit vewy soon.  

Anyways, wees wus wunnin’ a little bit behind so mommy wus kinda wushin’ fwu hers emails when meez stawted skweekin fwum da pawdee box woom.  Mommy hollewed fuw meez tu use da pawdee box and meez came up and put meez behind in hers face.  See meez has a fing ’bout cleanin’ meez bloomews when……yous know what gets stuck on dem.  And when it happens meez purromptly finds mommy and puts meez hiney in hers face.  MOL   Mommy wus twyin’ tu hav hers fiwst cup of coffee so dis wus da purrfect time fur meez tu du dis.  MOL   Mommy looked and sed, “Oh baby, let’s go clean up.”  And hers took me and cleaned meez up and went back up fwunt tu hav hers coffee. When suddenly sis Lexi stawted heavin’ and……..blahhh.  As sis Lexi chucked up all hers bwekky mommy stood der motionless sayin’, “No, Lexi, No.”  Like sayin’ no wus gunna make hers stop.  MOL  Mommy cleaned up Lexi’s fwo up and sat down again tu hav hers coffee.

Back in da sittin chaiw mommy picked up hers cup and took a sip and spit and sputtewed.  Must’a gotten cold.   MOL   Mommy gets up again tu make anuddew cup of coffee and meez stawts hollewiin fwum da pawdee box woom again.  Mommy came back and sis Lexi had chucked even mowe bwekky in da pawdee box woom sink.  Mommy finally got evewfin’ cleaned up and got a fwesh cup of coffee nd went tu sit down and here came da neighbow.  Meez went tu da doow and stawted gwowlin’ and Lexi stawted meowin’.  Mommy got up again and went tu da doow.  Da neighbow wanted tu gossip.  Mommy sed shes didn’t wanna heaw it and didn’t hav time fuw it and came and sat back down.  Just as shes took hers fiwst sip of coffee da alawm went off tellin’ mommy it wus time tu get weady tu leave.  Mommy huwwied and dwank hers coffee and got dwessed and got meez hawness and stwollew weady.  Mommy dwessed and meez in me hawness and packed away in meez stwollew, wees headed out tu da doctow.  And OMC what a time wees had while wees wus der.  Wees gunna be westin’ aftew Wednesday fuw days tu come.  MOL

OMC Wees Almost Furgot!!! Big Hugs

Meweek furiends as yous know mommy is me typist.  Meeez paws awe just tu fluffy fuw da little letters on da keyboard.  So meez was dictatin’ tu mommy and hers was typin’ away when a bannew came acwoss da top of da ‘puter.  Was a new email.  And dat email was ’bout huggin’.  And meez suddenly membewed dat tuday is Hug Yous Cat Day!!!  Can yous believ it?? A whole day just fuw huggin’ yous cat.  Dat means Lexi and meez awe in fuw like a billion gazillion hugs tuday.  Not dat wees mind. Wees luv mommy hugs.  And wees havin a huggin’ pawty ovew at da Tabby Cat Club tuday.

Now wees ‘posed tu be postin’  fotos of mommy huggin us ovew at da TCC.  Purrawlem is mommy’s no fotogwafew and hers even worse at selfies.   So  hewe wees wus, huggin and luvin’ and mommy twyin’ tu take fotos wiff one hand. MOL  Da first foto was mommys chin and meez ears.  Da nex foto was mommys elbow and meez paw.  Da nex foto…..well let’s just say neevew of us was in it.  No need tu descwibe what wus.  MOL   So da fotos dat follow is da bestest meez mommy kuld manage.  Yous gotta luv hers tho’ at least she’s twied.  MOL  By da way, wees much happiew den wees look.  Wees wus boff purrin’ up a stowm as mommy held us and twied tu take a foto.  Also membew dis is National Adopt a Shelter Cat munff. And ifin yous wun by Brian’s Home yous can see da purrettiest little kitty girly dat needs a fuwevew home.

We Heard Mommy Talkin’

Oh Meez Catness furiends lots of yous fawt dat Cameron was a toy or a figurine yesfurday.  MOL   Yes hims was tiny, but hims was 100% real.  Hims was 6days old in dat foto and yes Shad was much biggew den hims.  Anyways meez not gunna rehash yesfurdays story tuday meez just wanted tu make sure dat yous all knew dat hims was a livin’ bweevin’ little piggy.  And meez wanted tu fank yous fur da nice fings yous sed ’bout mommy.  Dat’s just what meez mommy dus.  Shes sees an animal in need and shes twies tu make it bettew.   Membew dis is Pet Appreciatiion Week. 

 

And yous all fawt she’s was just ’bout da kittys.  So speakin’ ’bout kittys lets get on wiff tudays story.     Well yesfurday da lawn crew was hewe.  And du yous know what meez did??  Nope meez didn’t wun and hide, meez stayed wight in da livin’ woom wiff mommy and sis Lexi.  Meez ate and played and watched Lexi twy tu ignowe mommy cuz hers wuldn’t tuwn da flash off on da camewa.  Cuz of course mommy was snappin’ fotos one wight aftew anuthew.  Mostly of meez cuz me wasn’t wunnin’ but sum of Lexi tu.

So as da lawn crew was wrappin’ up, meanin’ makin’ less noise so a purrson/kitty kuld heaw dem selves fink;  meez heawd mommy on da fone.  “Yes both,” shes sed.  And  “I want to have Dr. C put the soft paws on Dezi while we’re there.”   Dr. C?? OMC Mommy was schedulin’ ow annual exam.  As yous know meez wrote ’bout da impawtance of  anual checkups wiff da VET and purrventative cawe just a few days ago.  So Looks like wees off tu da VET dis Catuwday.  But just like meez told yous in ow pwevious postys, wees luv Dr. C and wees know is fur ow own good.  Meez will keep yous posted on ow VET twip.  Meez suwe hopes wees get tu go du sumfin’ fun aftew. 🙂

Oh and Cat Scouts is back!!!   Meez gotta tell ya’ us Scouts was suwe twyin’ tu be patient but meez nevew seen a happiew gwoup of kittys den what gathewed wound da campfire yesfurday.  Wees wus huggin and dancin’ and wollin’ wound on da gwound.  Meez can only guess what ow nex adventuwe mite be. 🙂

Making Changes….

Meweek furiends hope you had a wunderful weekend.  We had a Pawsum weekend.  Very relaxin’ and informative.  When we decided to keep the blog we had several goals.  First, we weren’t going to repost  facebook unless it was important and then occasionally.  Second, the blog had to be more reader furiendly but still have catitude and some kitty speak as it is authored by a kitty.  Thirdly we wanted to tell our story and help inform and educate ’bout Service animals, Cats in purrticular and other important animal/cat issues.  And last but not least, Have fun!!!   Let me just say, we ARE NOT mad or upset, but we were a little sad to learn that so many of our furiends had some difficulties understandin’ me postys.  So on that note we will try to do better.  Having said that I must give you some background on mommy or we’ll be tradin’ one problem for another.  MOL

  So meez mommy was born and raised in Texas.  After she graduated high school she started on the adventure that was her life.   She’s lived like, everywhere.  From the East Coast to the West Coast and  parts in between.  Except for a few brief  moves, she’s always lived below the Mason Dixon Line.  So mommy’s a Southerner thru  and thru with a Texas slant.  Lexi and me were both born in Oklahoma and we’ve never lived anywhere else as mommys adventures were over by the time we came along.  Now we’re on an adventure together. 😀    So I hope as we muddle thru the new feel you’ll all bare with me.  With all the sites Lexi and me are on and mommy tryin’ to flip back and forth from one kitty to the other and human and back again, we’re bound to make a few slips, but maybe just maybe at some point we’ll get it right, and more of you can understand everythin’  we write.  I’m sure the translators will like me much better. MOL

        

We also got up the Meowday cards that everypawdy and kitty sent to mommy so check out the sidebar before you go.  Thank you to everyone who wished mommy a happy Meowday, it meant the world to her and us.   

 

 This is also the beginnin’ of PET APPRECIATION WEEK, so hold your fur babies a little closer this week and take the time to appreciate the love they give to you.   By the end of the week you might just find you appreciate them even more. 🙂
