As yous know ow pawtment wuz flooded not once but twice in less than a mumff and as a wesult, sum of ow stuffs got damaged or in da case of mommys chair, it just bwoke all to pieces. Weez purreciate all da donations dat hav been given wegardless of da amount, they ALL help get us closer to da goal.

Weez wuld like to addwess sum of your suggestions, as they awe purreciated. A lot of yous hav mentioned weez kuld use boxes to help sis Lexi climb. And weez do when we can, but weez hav mumffly pawtment inspections and get in twubble fur havin’ boxes sittin’ wound. They awe considered a fire hazard and bug motel. And of course weez still hav da same purrawllem weez had wiff da cheap steps mommy had owiginally bought. We awe BIG girlys weighing in at 30 pounds EACH. Dat be 60 pounds of kitties. And when weez do zoomies and take a flying leap at da steps (boxes, etc.) yous hav to add 10-15 pounds to each of our weights due to inertia. Sis Lexi has needed help fur a foo years now, so mommy has twied evewyfin’ hers kuld fink of or find as an option, but da solution weally is good solid heavy duty steps. Well me wants to fank evewypawdy dat has twied to splain da new toilet to me. Mommy sez me can weport dat meez not jumpin’ outta meez fur anymowe and meez not running lickety split fwum da room. Meez not hangin’ ovew da edge watchin’ meez business get sucked down it yet, but mommy assures me afur long it will be old news. And me wants to say dat we wusn’t complainin’ ‘bout it in da first place, we wuz just postin a funny ‘bout sumfin’ new. Anyways, we hav lots of fings to cover and we don’t wanna ovewload yous wiff all da news at once. Me wants to tell yous ‘bout an award me wuz nominated fur.

Now meez blog wuz awarded da One Lovely Blog Award by meez sweet furiends and fellow cat scout Shoko and hers sisfur Kali, and then also by Miss Ellen and da gang ovew at 15 and Meowing, where Sophie and Sammy awe celebwatin’ their Meowdays today, so pop on ovew and join da pawty. And anypawdy els dat dusn’t hav it. Yous all hav pawsum blogs and deserve this award.

Well meez furiend Bacon has a little mumffly posty called Show and Tell. It’s ‘bout long lost favowits fwum yous past. This will be da first time weez been able to join in, and it’s bout dat childhood favowit food. Lexi sed hers can’t member what hers favowit kittenhood nom wuz. Course what’d’ya spect fwum sumkitty as old as she is?. But me suwe members meez favowit. Yous know how me told yous dat me had tapeworm when me came to live wiff mommy and how me wuz too young to tweat wiff da medicine? Well of course mommy had to giv me sumfin’ to get rid of those nasty fings but kuldn’t take a chance of hurtin’ me eevew. So hers used one of those natuwal home remedies. Hers bought pumpkin seeds and put them fwu da Ninja til they wuz like a fine powder, and then she mixed in a little garlic powder and wuld add distilled water to make a paste. OMC Fur medicine dat stuff wuz yummy. She had to giv it to me 4 times a day, but me wulda gladly ate it all day. Meez gotta tell ya’ me kuldn’t get enuff. Mommy sez it takes longer to get better on those old home remefies, but at leasst they’re safe and fur da most pawt evewy kitty likes ‘em. Lexi didn’t hav da worms, but hers liked it too. Now meez gunna let mommy tell yous ‘bout hers favowit donut. Take it away mommy.

mommy: Thank you sweety. Yes my favorite childhood food was donuts. Every morning on the way to school my mother would take us to this little donut shop in an old gas station called Southern Maid. They made the best donuts in the world. (I hadn’t had donuts anywhere else at the time, but now that I have, I still think they have the best donuts ever) My favorite donut is the pine cone. It’s got just the right amount of cinnamon mixed in it, and they’re huge. A large yeast bread dough that has been manipulated to have all of these little bites on the top. And then glazed with a sweet powdered sugar, milk and vanilla glaze. Oh my. They are best hot of course, but are even good a few days later. I’ve gotta find my fryer, oil and baking supplies. MOL

Of course as wiff most awards, there awe sum rules to follow, so weez will just take yous fwu them. Da first award meez got wuz da Love and Kindness award. Meez vewy happy to hav weceived this one, cuz me is a vewy luvin’ kitty. Da rules fur this award awe purretty simple, yous must fank da blogger dat nominated you, list an act of kindness anudder blogger has shown yous and nominate other bloggers dat purractice luv and kindness. Now isn’t dat simple? A meowsy big fank yous to da Kitties Blue, meez weally luvs y’all bunches. Ooooooops meez means catch up. MOL Wees plan on spendin’ tumowwo gettin’ caught up wiff all of yous. Fank yous fur bein’ so patient wiff us. As yous know wees been havin’ sum purrawllems wound here. First mommy got weally sick and then wees wus twyin’ tu wenew ow lease and da manager decided hers wusn’t gunna wenew ow lease and then wees had a flood. What’s dat old sayin’? When it rains it pours? Litewally it wus pourin’ in ow house. Well wees had da meetin” wiff management and mommys legal rep., and found that as usual there awe no legal gwounds fur them not tu wenew mommys lease. As hers is and always has been a good tenant hoo pays da went on time, obeys da law and follows da wules. And hers not cause twubble or get intu twubble. They hav 10 days tu let us know what they decide. Altho’ they must decide tu wenew ow lease. But ifin they don’t, wees will hav 10 days tu appeal their decision which of course we will. The supervisor (hoo has only worked fur da company fur ’bout a munff now) was shocked tu learn dat mommy has lived here fur 11 years. And that until dis manager mommy had nevew had any twubble of this natuwe. This lends even mowe cwedibility tu mommys hawassment claims. And da cawpet people will be here nex week tu look at da cawpet and twy tu fix it. Cuz da company fuw suwe dusn’t wanna spend mowe munny on cawpet ifin they don’t hav tu.

Mommys eye seems tu be gettin’ bettew so hers purretty suwe hers wetina’s not detachin’. Hers has a follow up on Fursday tu make suwe, and then hers gunna twy tu have da uddew eyes membwane lasered da first Munday in August. As fur hers uddew sick, all da tests keep comin’ back nowmal and hers wegulaw doctor sez hers has had da million dollaw work up so there’s nowhere els tu look. So wees still not weally know anyfin’ there, but da pain has sorta let up. Eevew that or all da stwess ovew evewfin’ els has took mommys mind off it. MOL Eevew way, wees will take it.

So that just leaves us wiff gettin’ caught up. 🙂 Now afur all this stawted wees got a gweat box fwum Marty the Manx. It had mowe Catit twacks and a massage center. WooHoo Wees du luv ow twack and ball toys, and that Catit is sumfin’ els. Can yous believ that Marty not be innewested in da Catit twacks? Hims also included one of hims favowit toys, da ball mouse. And a little supwise in one of da boxes. A cute little toy wiff bwitches and a catnip pillow down da bwitches. There wus weplacement spawkle balls and CatNip!!! Wiff all da commotion wees not had da chance tu weally du much playin or get gweat fotos but wees du hav a foo. And wees wanna say a Meowsy Big FANK YOUS tu Marty and Miss Kelly Jo.
