Well let meez just say dat it seems a bit quietew dis week den in weeks past. Meez don’t know what’s goin’ on, but facebook dusn’t seem as busy and meez blog hasn’t been as busy. And meez and Lexi’s email hasn’t been as busy eevew. Usually when mommy tuwns on da ‘putew in da meownins’ weez hav any whewe fwum 30 – 50 emails. But so faw dis week wees not even had 30 at any one time. Anyways, just sayin. 🙂
So let meez just say dat meez a bit of a scawdy cat when da lwn cwew comes wound. Deys loud and der machines awe pawful. Yous fink da cawpet monstew is scawy?? Let meez tell yous dat yous ain’t seen nuffin til sumpawdy comes up blowin’ evewfin’ outside stwaight at ya’ and da noise is deafenin’. So meez always wuns and hidees when deys show up. Mommy has twied evewfin’. Hers twied closin’ da doow, singin’ tu meez (which usually calms meez down fwum anyfin’), shes eeven bawt meez a fundew shiwt which meez pwomptly shimmied out of. Okay so maybe shes hasn’t twied Evewfin’. So yous ask, what’s da big deal?? Is not like yous haven’ dun sumfin similaw, wight?? Well da big deal is, dat when dey showed up hewe yesfuwday stead of wunnin’ and hidin’, meez stayed wight der in da livin’ woom wiff mommy and sis Lexi. Meez saw dem and meez looked out at dem fuw a foo minutes even, and den meez just went on and acted like deys wusn’t even der. Dat is til da hooman in da mask came up on da powch and stawted blowin wocks and limbs at da doow at meez. come on, yous wulda wan tu. MOL

Well, I for one am proud of you for staying around until they started the blowing. That is so much progress. I don’t blame you for the running with the blower though. All that noise and stuff flying through the air would scare anyone.
I don’t know what I’m doing for Mother’s day if anything. My brother is taking Mama to lunch.

The carpet monster doesn’t bother Winter. She just sits there and watches me. I don’t know about the lawnmower we do our own yard. We are responsible for the lawn care not the landlord. You made progress sweetie good for you. I can tell you if the man in the mask came up blowing rocks Winter would run so fast all you would see is her fluffy tail trailing behind her! She isn’t fond of loud noise. If we are outside and the dogs bark or a loud vehicle or a random loud noise happens she is at the door meowing to go in. Luv ya!

Hi Dezi….I think that lawn crew would scare me – I really am a scaredy-cat when it comes to noise. I wish I was more brave but I’m not! For Mother’s Day I usually try to spend extra time on Mom’s lap and Dad and I buy her a big bouquet of pretty flowers and give her a card from “the guys”. Are you and Lexi planning something special for your Mommy?

I agree with you, that’s scary. As we had the roadguys here, we all tried to find a quiet place in my wardrobe. But that’s my storm cellar, no humans allowed. Fortunately our roadguys had no masks. If, I still would sit in my wardrobe. I hope they will finish their work soon. Have a good wednesday.
