Well here it is Tuesday alweady. We always make a Blest Sunday post until this past week. And as yous all know wees havin’ lots of twubbles here, ‘tween mommys healff and ow ‘pawtment issues. So it came tu ow attention that maybe yous wus fnkin’ wees wusn’t feelin’ tu blest this past Sunday. But that kuldn’t be further fwum da twuff. So wees decided tu take tuday tu splain just how blest wees awe. Yous see is not fings or even good times that make us blest. Wees be blest cuz wees hav each uddew and all of yous. So YES, WEES AWE BLEST!!! Wees finished ow story fur da online magazine and shuld hear back fwum them shortly. Wees will of course let yous all know when da story goes live.
Now fur sum Cat Scout news. As yous knows wees just had a sock hop and it hasn’t been tu long since we went tu da Philippines. Now wees fixin’ tu go on anuddew twip. Dis time wees be goin’ down intu da bayou on a Riverboat. Meez so excited. Me can’t hawdly wait. Wees even gunna hav a dwess up night. Wait’ll yous see meez costume.

Me guess yous purrawly wanna cawpet update. Pawently da cawpet cleaner did what hims sed and wrote down dat ow cawpet wuldn’t hold up and that da paddin’ wus a mess and all torn up. Da manager came tu ow pawtment yesfurday and sed hers wus gunna put in fur sum paddin’ pieces tu patch da paddin’ under da cawpet. What? Is hers an idiot? Oh well, dat’s da update. Oh and that they wuld be here on Wednesday tu stwetch out da cawpet and that mommy needed tu move all da furniture. NOT!!! Mommy’s not movin’ all da furniture so that healffy grown men can come in here and du sum sowt of patch job and unravel da alweady unravelin’ cawpet. Mommy sez is not hers job tu du their job. MOL Anyways, that’s all fur tuday.

Oh, goodness, just what your mom needs to be doing, moving furniture. Good for her for saying no. The carpet should really be replaced. Hope this doesn’t turn into a long period of do this, try that, oh, finally we’re going to have to replace the carpet. Take care.

Yep that’s what mommy sed. Hers still not got all hers strength back fwum bein’ so sick fur so long. But ven at full strength mommy’s not able to move hers furniture. Weez fwaid it’s gunna take a onger time than weez wuld like cuz they’s not gunna du da wight fing till they be forced to.

Oh Dezi……our mom had a similar problem several years ago with an apartment manager. The furnace room had flooded and we lived on the other side of it, so our bedroom was completely drenched – not once, but five or six times! The Mom tried to get the management to replace the carpet, but they said they would only do it if hers moved all the furniture! Our mom suffers moderate to severe chronic pain and hers said hers could not do that work, so they didn’t replace the carpet. Mold grew and hers gotted very sick. Then they tried to charge her for the carpet when hers moved out.
Please take care of your mommy. If they will not move the furniture, I would suggest looking into the legal options you have. I do not want you or your mommy to get sick because they don’t do their job!

OMC So sowwy yous had those purrawlems. Yes they wuld want mommy tu move evewfin’ just like now. But hers can and wuld fill out a reasonable accommodation form so they wulld hav tu du it themselves or hire sumpawdy tu. Da govewnment wequires them tu make weasonable accommodations fur all elderly and handicap peeps. Anways, weez purrayin’ ’bout it and hope it all gets worked out okay.

We didn’t know you had a story out there…good luck Dezi. Your apt. manager is a kook. It is a health issue besides a safety issue. She/he couldn’t rent it to someone else like that and if its not cleaned and dried well will be all moldy underneath. I’m sorry but some people are just stupid….the manager being one of them. It will cost way more to fix unless they do it properly now. Anyway none of this should be your problem. Good for your mom….she should not have to move anything….these guys are quite capable of moving furniture. It will cost the manager more probably but what do you care….he/she doesn’t go out of his way for you.
