Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. Well, what did ya’ll think ‘bout mommy getting’ to try somethin’ new? I’s gotta tell ya’, we were purretty x’cited. And, I’s even got some of that PawPaw ointment put on me. Somehow, I’s got a scratch on mine’s nose and mommy used it fur me. It felt kind’a nice. Anyways, have we got a surpurrise fur ya’ll on Furiday.

          Raena, what are you meowin’ ‘bout now? 

 

I’s was gonna tell everypawdy what we had comin’ up on Furiday, sissy.

          Well don’t, Raena. It’s gonna be a surpurrise. We’ve already eluded to it, and now we’re just gonna hit ‘em with it. It’s the purrfect time of year. ‘Course, anytime we get somethin’ new is the purrfect time. Anyways, did you notice mr. Sunshine came back out today?

 

I’s did sissy. I’s also noticed the air seems a bit warmer too. Mommy says it’s still not warm enuff to go fur a stroll, but we are enjoyin’ not fureezin’ all day. Ya’ know, we’ve got that pawsum ‘lectric blanky on the bed to keep us from fureezin’ at night, and oh is it nice. I’s could stay in bed all the time. 

 

          Well Raena, ya’ know what they say; A kitty sleeps most of it’s life.

I’s disagree with that sissy. that makes us sound lazy.

 

          Yeah Raena, me thinks somethin’ is wrong with your kitty brain. You don’t spend nearly enuff time sleepin’. And, that means me misses out on some really valuable beauty sleeps too. Me’s never seen a kitty go, go , go as much as you do. Where x’actly do you get all that energy?

 

I’s don’t know sissy. I’s just like to play. I’s wish you would play with me more. Ya’ waste so much time nappin’. As ifin you could get any more bootyful.

          Y, Fanks Raena. Me thinks that’s the nicest thing you’ve ever meowed to me. Now ifin me could just get you to stop pouncin’ on me.

 

I’s haven’t pounced on you once today. (Raena meows under her breath) But, the day’s still early. MOL 

 

          Me heard that Raena!!! C’mon, let’s go finish brekky and try to find a sunpuddle to nap in.

(Raena jumps over Dezi and runs to her breakfast plate. Dezi crouches and hisses and then runs to her breakfast plate while shaking her head.) Bet I’s can eat faster than you, sissy.

 

          Hmmmmpht  Me bets you can’t. You’re a bigger grazer than me is. Besides, you’re not s’posed to scarf your noms down silly, you’re s’posed to eat slowly and chew each bite.

Mommy A Tries Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment

Hey all, mommy A here. I’ve hijacked the girls blog today to tell you about something I recently found that I think every household needs. As you all know, the girls do most of our reviews. And, I’m thrilled they get to try so many amazing things. But, as you also know, there’s a human behind all the pet blogs including ours. A lot of times the things we humans get to review have to do with cleaning or enriching the lives of our furry babies in some way. Don’t get me wrong, I love my girls and can’t imagine not picking up after them or trying to make their lives better; but, every once in a while I’d like something that didn’t have anything to do with cleaning. lol

At first, everything was going along fine. My gums were and have healed properly and I’m getting used to the feel of “fake teeth”. But, shortly after I began using the denture adhesives, I started getting sores in the corners of my mouth. The corners of my mouth were cracking open and my lips were constantly chapped. Blest Sunday: Is It The Year of Declutter

(Dezi stretches and yawns and moves up between mommy’s legs to start the morning massage routine. Mommy A looks down at Dezi and wonders what time it is since the bedroom’s still so dark. Raena joins Dezi and they help mommy A get up and get to the bathroom to start the day. Mommy A opens the door and they all look out at the dark gloomy sky.)  Oh Raena, me sure hopes you enjoyed the chirpin’ birdies the other day. Looks like Old man Winter showed back up today.

          Old man Winter? That looks more like Rumblin’ Storms. I’s not heard anythin’, but it sure looks like we could befur the day’s over. You ain’t gonna go into hidin’ are ya’?

          Sure sissy, whatever you say. Anyways, It’s Blest Sunday, and storms or not, I’s feelin’ Blest. Ya’ know we went to see mommy’s doctor the other day and she showed him her ouchie from that fall. He gave her a good once over and took somethin’ called an x-ray and said fanky fankfully, she didn’t break it, but ‘pawrently she chipped it, a bone that is. I’s don’t know what that means, but he said it’s gonna take a good 6 months befur all the swellin’ goes down and it stops hurtin’. Mommy said she’d chipped a bone befur and while the pain might eventually go away, old man arfur-itis is gonna visit fur the rest of her life. We’re just grateful she didn’t do any real damage.

Sure ‘nuff Raena. She sure does get x’cited tho’ when we try to massage it. MOL Ya’ know, we were readin’ one of our furiends bloggy’s the other day and they were meowin’ ‘bout de-clutterin’. Mommy said this year she was gonna be doin’ some of that herself.

          So we can mark all our stuffs so mommy doesn’t throw somethin’ out by mistake.

 

Oh Purrlease, mommy’s not gonna throw our stuffs out. Least me doesn’t think so??. Me’s sure the de-clutterin’ will include all her stuffs. Ya’ know, she don’t need half the stuffs in that closet. Ifin she threw most of it out, maybe we could go in there and see what it’s all ‘bout.

 

          That sounds like fun sissy. I’s think mommy’s bringin’ our brekky. We better go eat. We sure are blest to have such a luvvin’ mommy.

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. (Raena jumps on the Liberty cat tree to look outside for the source of the chirping she hears. She looks out and back again and chirps and chortles at Dezi.) Sissy, do you hear it? Is winter over?

          (Dezi jumps up on the Liberty cat tree beside Raena and looks out the door and then the window.) Where is it, Raena? Me can’t find the birdy. (Dezi reaches her paw out and touches the door and pulls her paw back quickly.) Hmmmpht  Winter ain’t over Raena, far from it. Least the temps have furinally risen above 0. Fankfully, you’re the one that’s gonna be out in it with mommy today. Me’s gonna stay here and stay warm.

I’s luvs goin’ out with mommy, sissy, even ifin it’s cold out. Besides, did you see the new carrier thingy she got fur us? I’s can’t wait to try it out. It looks really cool.

          Are you meowin’ ‘bout that sling thing Raena? Me knows mommy was really impurressed at the quality considerin’ what we paid fur it. Ya’ know, we got a few green papers fur Christmas, and mommy was thinkin’ ‘bout BlogPaws and ‘memberin’ how little room there was when we were walkin’ ‘round and visitin’ with the vendors. And she ‘membered how cute our furiend Sophie looked in her sling thing and wanted to get one fur us. But, ya’ know those things ain’t cheap. So, when she found this one fur $7.99, she had to scoop it up. Ya’ know, we’re purrayin’ hard that we get to go to BlogPaws this year. Me still purrfurs me’s stroller, but me might give that sling a try too. There ain’t nuffin’ better than bein’ close to mommy’s heart.

Ain’t that the truth, sissy. I’s so glad mommy knows how to shop fur bargains. And, I’s really purray we get to go to BlogPaws. I’s can’t wait to meet our furiends in the fur to flesh. That sounds like soooooooo much fun. I’s guessin’ I’s goin’ in the stroller today tho’. Ya’ know, I’s don’t think the doctor could hear mommy’s heart with all mine’s furs in the way. Maybe he’ll give mommy somethin’ to get better too. We was visitin’ our furiends on Wednesday and tryin’ to get all caught up, and then yesfurday, mommy just zoned out. She kept passin’ out, so she furinally just shut the catputer off. I’s sure hope we can visit more furiends after we get home today. We’ve missed so much.

          Me too, Raena. Ya’ know she was tryin’ to do that pecan thing to raise green papers to take you to the V E T and to send us to BlogPaws. Unfurtunately fur our pawcket book the work’s over and mommy didn’t make enuff fur anythin’. Altho’ me is glad that she’s gonna be home with us from now on. Me really didn’t like her bein’ gone so much. Me worried ‘bout her all the time. Seems that belt runnin’ along like it did gave her the dizzies and caused her to pass out. Anyways, it’s furinally the weekend and it’s warmin’ up a tad, so maybe mommy will feel up to playin’ with us. You may enjoy goin’ out, but me would much purrfur a good game with the cat dancer.

Did you know the oven comes apawrt? I’s never seen anythin’ like it. There’s a cool cubby down there. I’s sure wish mommy would’a let me go under there and play.

          Oh Raena…That ain’t no cubby and the oven ain’t a toy. (Dezi shakes her head and then suddenly sees something out of the corner of her eye.)  Raena!!! Look’it all the ducks!!!

(Raena jumps up just in time to see the ducks waddle by and go off into the woods.) Oh sissy, those sure are some big birds. Sorry Tabbies, but they sure did look nomilishus. MOL Well, I’s better go help mommy get ready to go. The sooner we leave the sooner we can get back and visit our furiends. We’ll be by to see ya’ soon.
