Hey everypawdy, it’s me, RaenaBelle. Seems sissy was right and meowin’ ‘bout mine’s beauty is conceited. So, I’s a more humble Belle today. I’s gotta tell ya’, we were visitin’ with our furiends yesfurday when mommy passed plumb out and lost track of everythin’. We’re sorry ifin we didn’t get by to visit with you, we’re plannin’ more visits this week. Hey sissy, aren’t you glad we’re girly’s?

  

 

 

 

          Sure Raena, but what does that have to do with anythin’?   

 

Well, I’s was watchin’ this show ‘bout our cousins, the lions, and did you know they kick all the boycats outta the family when they’re teenagers? I’s don’t think that’s fair. Y, I’s not meowin’ I’s want a brofur or nuffin’, but ifin I’s had a brofur, I’s wouldn’t want mommy to make him leave just cuz he was a teenager and bein’ pesky. 

 

Mommy scribbled out the actual show. She says it’s

somethin’ ’bout copyrights and stuffs.

 

 

 

          Oh RaenaBelle, you can’t lissen to everythin’ you hear on teevee. Lions are wild animals. They don’t have humans to take care of them the way we do. You know we have lots of boy furiends who haven’t been kicked outta their families. Y, Look’it your crush Simon, he’s a teenager like you and nopawdy’s kickin’ him out.   

 

 

 

 

Whew, That sure is good mews sissy. I’s was gettin’ a little worried, ‘specially ‘bout Simon. I’s fur sure wouldn’t want him to lose his family just cuz Brian was the alpha male fur their pride.  

 

          (Dezi shakes her head) Me’s tellin’ ya’, you’re watchin’ too much teevee Raena. 

 

But I’s luvs seein’ our relatives sissy. You know how our furiend Bear is always makin’ fun of his sisfur and sayin’ she’s…well you know, not skinny? Well, he’s pawfully lucky she’s a panfur and not a lioness. Y, They’re a whoppin 300 pounds. She’d be able to splat us all. And did you know their claws are a whole inch long? Can you ‘magine the things we could shred with those kinds of claws? 

 

 

 

 

          Hmmmmpht  Mommy wouldn’t ever let that happen Raena. Kittens, me accidentally scratched her the other day and befur me knew what was happenin’, she had me flipped over and was clippin’ me’s claws. She wouldn’t hear any of me’s protests, she just kept clip, clip, clippin’ away. Me’s lucky she didn’t maim me or somethin’. Y, Me’s lucky me can even walk or spread me’s scent. 

 

Why do you think I’s been bein’ so careful? As soon as mommy sees mine’s claws I’s in fur a clippin’ too.   

 

          Too late Raena, me’s purretty sure mommy’s already seen your claws and you’re in fur it the next time you jump in her lap.  

 

Well sissy, I’s guess I’s’ll just have to suffer thru it. You know how much I’s luvs bein’ in mommy’s lap. Y, It’s mine’s favorite place in the universe.  

 

 

 

 

          You’re such a suck up Raena.   

 

So. You like to be close to mommy too. Besides, I’s know mommy’s like that mother lioness, she’ll purrtect us at all costs. It’s better ifin we stay close, so she’ll know where we are.

 

          Yeah Raena, me sure is glad we have the mommy we do. Me’s tired, me’s gonna go take a nap. Don’t bother me, okay?.  

 

 

 

 

Sure sissy, (Raena crosses her paws behind her back) you do that. 

 

          (Dezi runs up the liberty cat tree and Raena follows behind swiping at Dezi’s leg) Hissssssss Me meowed, leave me alone Raena.   

 

 

 

 

I’s got you sissy. You’re It. It’s your turn to chase me now. (Raena runs off down the hall with Dezi chasing behind)
