Well furiends hewe wees awe goin’ on anuudew shoppin’ twip.   As meez told yous yesfuwday wees went tu wally wowld and had tu wait out da stowm.  But dat wus okay cuz wees needed tu gaddew ow purrices fuw tudays posty.   Anypawdy hoo wanted kuld join in.  So meez can’t wait tu see what da purrices awe fuw evewpawdy els.   Now dis wus owiginally just a fun little game wiff Bacon and Fozziemum, but so many people wanted tu play along, deys set up a date fuw it and posted da list of items fuw compawin’.  Meez suwe hopes yous enjoy dis as meez finks is gweat fun tu find out what uddews awe payin’ fuw da same fings as us.  Wees liv in a vewy small wuwal town in Suddewn Oklahoma.  Wees a vewy poow community in a vewy poow state.  Dat bein’ sed, last time wound wees had sum of da highest purrices.  So let’s see what hapuns dis time. Hewes ow purrice compawisons:

 

  • Cost of  1 munff intewnet:  Ows just went up, is now $51.00. 

  • Pint of Blue Bell Ice cweam: (wees kuldn’t find Ben and Jerry’s), $3.89.    

  • 12 Pack cans of Coke:  $4.69 (altho’ wees did catch a sale dis week and got dem fuw $2.99-Huge savin’s).    Da only 6 packs wus in da bottles and deys wus $4.79. (deys wawely on sale and mommy wuldn’t buy dem at dat pwice.)      

  • Can of Folgers Coffee: $8.76.          

  •  Snickers Candy Baw: $1.29.        

  • Grooming:  Well meez not need outside gwoomin’ but meez did hav mommy call wound and ask what da chawge wuld be fuw puttin’ on meez Soft Paws. Meez VET is da only one hoo knew what meez wus talkin’ ’bout, and hims sed meez wuld hav tu bwing meez own Soft Paws and glue and  hims wuld chawge $30.00.

 

Now wees didn’t buy all dis.  Dat’s da fun of dis .  All yous hav tu du is look fuw da purrices and den post dem.  Maybe nex time yous will want tu get in on da fun.   So ifin der’s sumfin yous wunnewin da purrice of uddew places, purrlease leav in da comments and wees will combine and compawe and den compile a new list fuw da nex Shippin’ wound da wowld twip posty.

  1. Hehe you look like a chocolate kitty! We buy our coffee regularly but we use Community. We don’t buy Ben and Jerry it is way too high. We can get a half gallon of blue bell for almost the same price. Then the Dollar General had a pawsome sale on cokes. Reglar $4.50 on sale for $2.50. We got a couple extra. Luv ya sweetie

MOL Wees don’t buy anyfin’ on da list eevew ‘cept da cokes and coffee. and of couwse wees use da innewnet. but dis wus da list purrvided by Bacon and Fozziemum.       1. Do you have a Dollar General in your town? Mom is an asst manager and knows the sales. I don’t know if they will have another sale like that. She has worked there 6 years and that is the first it went that cheap. But they do a 3 for $9 (not as often), 3 for $10, and 3 for $11 (most often) sale from time to time. That was when Mom went on vacation so she didn’t think about it. She bought hers on her first day back from vacation which was the last day of the sale.

        1. Yep Winter wees hav a Dollaw Genewal and ows dus da 3/11. Suwe wish wees had known. Don’t know ifin ows had da sale. Deys don’t send der ads out and since gas purrices be so much mommy dusn’t dwive up town lessen hers knows sumfins on sale hers needs. 3/9 isn’t tu bad, but 2/5 wus gweat!!

          1. I will try to get mom to remember. The ads always start Sunday and you can check their sales on their website. If they get a coke sale I will try to get mom to remember to tell you. 🙂

  2. I really think it is interesting to see the prices for different places.
    A 6 pack of bottle Diet coke is 4 for $9.00 this week. That’s what I get so I was glad they are on sale. A Milky Way candy bar is .89 cents but I think that was on sale too. To get my cats nails cut it is $16.00. Our internet is $32.90 including taxes and that’s the slowest speed with AT&T (phone company). It goes up just about every month seems like.

    I hope Mommy had a good day yesterday for her birthday.

  3. Mom went shopping today and a 12 pack of coke was $5.47. Internet per month is $43. It was $37 this time last year. The internet is bundled with our phone. Snickers bar is $140. To get my nails cut at the groomers its $8.40. The vet cuts them for $15. We don’t get the vet to cut them. Mom didn’t price coffee as she doesn’t drink it and tends to forget it. Nor did she price Ben and Jerry’s ice cream…she eats it but she forgot.

    Price of internet for one month.
    We have Charter cable and it’s bundled(with phone and TV)for $29 otherwise by itself it would be $50 a month just for internet.
    A pint of Ben & Jerry’s.
    At the grocery store on sale 2 for $6
    A six pack of Coca Cola.
    $4.99
    Coffee.
    Folgers $5.99 on sale. Sometimes coffee is over $10 for a huge one. The price seems to change a lot. I buy whatever is on sale as long as I like it.
    A regular sized Snickers candy bar.
    $1.04
    Grooming. 🙂 Most of us anipals get groomed. How much does it normally cost you to go to the groomers?
    No idea. Don’t use this. I know my vet charges $15 for nail trims on a kitty.

    1. Wow yous bundle purrice fuw innewnet is CHEAP!!!! Wees wish wees kuld get dat purrice. Der awe only 3 purrvidews in ow awea, and wees use da cheapest one and it’s also da one dat da uddew 2 purrvidews lease ders fwum. So deys chawge almost dubble da purrice so dat deys can make a purrofit aftew AT&T takes der cut. MOL And yes coffee is usually close tu 10.00 hewe tu and mommy uses whatevews on sale ifin hers has tu (and yes, likes it) MOL Hers dusn’t buy candy baws but maybe once a yeaw and ice cweam ’bout evew 2 yeaws. Is cwazy what da stowes chawge and a wunnew anypawdy can affuwd tu liv and buy anyfin’. MOL

      1. The whole bundle price is $150 a month so not cheap in the long run. If you do it seperate they really hit you. Last summer coffee was so high I didn’t buy it. Food is getting really high here too. Can’t afford to eat anymore. Hope your having a great day.

        1. Yous still got a good purrice. Ow t.v. is almost as much as yous bundle. Mommy wants tu get one of those Roku fingys so hers wuldn’t hav tu pay dem anymowe. It just galls hers. But shes sez, bein’ home all day and unable tu du anyfin’ els shes need da t.v. fuw entewtainmenat and a distwaction. And mommy has gone wiff out food fuw so long dat hers sez yous just get tu whewe yous don’t weally miss it and da hooman body can suwvive fine wiff out it. Wees hav sum furiends on facebook dat sent mommy sum noms and hers weally wus pweshativ and suwely enjoyed it, but when is gone hers goes back tu just havvin’ a foo cwackews evew once in a while. Hers wus cwavin’ lettuce da uddew day, but when hers got tu da stowe deys wanted $2.00 fuw a little bitty head. Mommy sed, “Not in dis lifetime!!!” And hers left. MOL Dat’s so cwazy. Mowe and mowe people not gunna be able tu affowd tu eat afuw long. Hav a Wunnewful day!!!!

  10. That’s very interesting! the only thing I can tell you to compare is one month’s internet is £3.75 for us at the moment as it is half price. Normally it would be £7.50. Some of the other things on your list we’ve never heard of mol x
