Hey everypawdy, it’s me RaenaBelle. I’s gotta tell ya’, this weather has mine’s sleep all off. You all know I’s a sweet little kitty girl, but mommy’s been callin’ me a pistol in the meownin’s. What do ya’ reckon she means?

          It might have somethin’ to do with the way you act furst thing in the meownin’ Raena. What’s up with that? The minute you open your eyes you’re like a caged beasty let loose; runnin’ all over the place, chewin’ on anythin’ you can put your mouth on. And me means anythin’. Girl, you gotta quit bitin’ the soap bottles and the metal faucets. You’re gonna need your teethies. Trust me, ya’ gotta take care of your teeth. And those wires you keep tryin’ to chew are connected to ‘lectricity. Mommy says electrical shocks can fry your furs. And what do ya’ think mommy would do ifin you got fried?

I’s don’t know what comes over me sissy, but I’s just have to do it. You know, it’s like mine’s meownin’ game with mommy.  

  

          Uh, Raena, you’re the only one playin’. In case you hadn’t noticed, we’re all asleep when you get started climbin’ the walls. Don’t you hear mommy callin’ fur you to come back to bed? 

 

Sure I’s hear her sissy. But, I’s just can’t help mine’s self. You know, just cuz you’re old and cranky in the meownin’ doesn’t mean we all have to be.

I’s sorry sissy. Somethin’ made me meow that. It’s like the meownin’ time, I’s just can’t help mine’s self.

          That’s hogwash. You know mommy says we’re all in control of our own selves. Ain’t nopawdy makin’ you do or meow anythin’. You’ve been watchin’ way too much teevee. So many shows these days are just downright disrespectful.

          Obviously you’re learnin’ the wrong things Raena. No more cat from hell fur you.

What? Hmmmmpht  We’ll see, you ain’t in control of the remote, mommy is. Anyways, we’re all up now, so do you wanna play? Sissy…? Sissy…? (Raena sees Dezi asleep atop the cat tree) Hmmmmpht you’re all gonna sleep your lives away. (Raena stretches and yawns) Guess a mid meownon’ nap couldn’t hurt. Tell All Tuesday: A Little of This and A Little of That

Hey everypawdy, it’s me, RaenaBelle. I’s comin’ to ya’ live from the Three Belles Ranch. Uh, hold on just a minute, I’s not feelin’ so good…(Raena licks lips and paces with a worried look on her face.) Okay, sorry ‘bout that. I’s think I’s drank a bit too much water this meownin’. It made mine’s tummy rumble a bit. But, I’s think I’s better now. (Raena hears mommy A in the hallway.) Ooooops  I’s think mommy just stepped in all that extra water I’s hurled. (Raena snickers) Oh well…

          Oh well? Just make sure you don’t blame me fur it Raena.

I’s would never do a thing like that sissy. Besides, I’s sure mommy already knows I’s did it. After all, I’s use the piddle pads, you just hurl where ya’ stand. Mommy says your messes look a bit like the exorcist. The last time, you got it all over the curtains.  

 

          Me couldn’t help it Raena. Sometimes ya’ gotta do what ya’ gotta do. Anyways, enuff meowin’ ‘bout hurlin’…it’s gross. 

 

What do you want to meow ‘bout sissy? 

 

          Quite furankly, me could use a mid meownin’ nap Raena. Seein’ as how we didn’t get to bed till 4:00 this meownin’ and you were wakin’ us all up at 7:30. What was that all ‘bout?

Who? Me? It wasn’t 7:30 was it? I’s thought it was more like nine?. I’s didn’t want mommy to oversleep.  

 

          What difference would it make Raena? It’s not like we have to be anywhere.  

 

Sorry sissy. I’s did come back to bed.

          Yeah, after makin’ enuff noise to wake the dead. You know mommy has to use the pawtty box when she wakes up from a sleep.  

 

Well that’s not mine’s fault sissy. I’s don’t have any control over mommy’s bladder. Maybe she should take more naps, like us. 

 

          (Dezi shakes her head)  Yeah, sure Raena. Anyways, did you see what mommy was lookin’ at last night? Me thinks we may be in fur some new foods soon.   

 

I’s hope it’s better than the stuffs we tried last night sissy. Meowin’ of foods, we better go finish brekky befur mommy takes it up. She’s purromissed we can play with the cat dancer later today.

          Me heard Raena, and me can’t wait. We need to visit with our furiends too.

MeOW  (Dezi walks though the house singing) Me is Blest, Me is Blest. Every day that me lives, me is Blest. When me…Oh hey Raena, wha’cha’ doin’? You know it’s Blest Sunday and time to count our Blessings, right?

Now you’re just bein’…Never mind. In spite of everythin’ Raena, you’re a Blessing. Me might not always act like it, but me does luv you and me’s glad you’re me’s sisfur. Of course, mommy’s always at the top of me’s Blessings list and so are our furiends.

          Mine’s too sissy. The every day Blessings are the bestest. With all the colds here, I’s sure fanky fankful fur mommy. I’s bet she’d say the same thing. Y, I’s don’t think I’s ever been cuddled so much as last night. We were both shiverin’ and tryin’ to stay warm. Mommy even turned up the heater.

Hey everypawdy, it’s me, RaenaBelle. Hold on just a minute, I’s checkin’ our emails. I’s thought I’s saw somethin’ here a minute ago…now where did that email go?. (Raena searches the email subject lines and finally sees one that says “you’ve won”)  Here it is mommy, open that one. Read it to me mommy, read it now. (Mommy A slowly and sarcastically reads the email to Raena.)  WooHoo!!! Our troubles are over!!! We’re rich sissy!!! We’re rich mommy!!! We can have as many scratchers and cat trees as we want now. (Raena zooms thru the house and up the cat tree and back down. Raena zooms thru the house and knocks a few knick knacks from their spots onto the floor. She finally runs back to the living room and jumps up on the boxes behind the chair) We’ve won the New Zealand lotto!!! Mommy, how many dollars is a million pounds? What are we gonna buy furst? I’s think we should buy a real Three Belles Ranch and make lots of cat houses so we can save all the kitties who need a home. Sissy, what do want to buy furst?

          Uh Raena…we don’t play the lotto. We fur sure don’t play the New Zealand lotto. That’s a scam.  

 

A scam? No sissy, they didn’t ask fur anythin’. They just need us to click this link. Hurry mommy, click it fast. We don’t want ‘em givin’ our money away to somepawdy else.

          RaenaBelle, you know mommy ain’t gonna click that link. There’s a rule, ifin it sounds to good to be true, then it purrobably is. And trust me, us winnin’ a lottery we don’t even play is way too good to be true.  

 

But sissy…We got an email?. Surely they wouldn’t lie to us?.  

 

          Well Raena, that’s one of the hard lessons you have to learn ‘bout life.. Just cuz you don’t lie, doesn’t mean everypawdy else on the planet tells the truth. There are scammers ‘round every corner. That’s why we’re so fankful fur all our furiends. They’re the bright light amidst all the crazy.

So, we’re not gettin’ a million pounds? We can’t really buy a ranch or a bunch of scratchers?  

 

          No Raena, we’re not gettin’ a million pounds. We’re not buyin’ a ranch and we’re not buyin’ a house full of scratchers. Altho’ we kind’a already have a house full of scratchers.

Yeah, but most of those are worn out; or you hurled on ‘em.  

 

          Not all of ‘em Raena. Besides, we still have our sisal scratchers. They’re still in great shape. And mommy got us the new scratcher lounger from the green papers we got fur Christmas. 

 

Oooooh Sissy, meowin’ of gifts, did you see what came in the mail yesfurday? We got not one, but two new Cat Dancers. Mommy found a 2 pack at Wally world. Ya’ know our Jewish furiends from the J-Cats didn’t even know what it was.

          Yeah Raena, me ‘members me’s furst Cat Dancer. They used to be more ‘spensive and mommy grumbled ‘bout payin’ so much fur a few pieces of rolled up papers on the end of a wire. But once she saw how much fun it was fur me, she said it was priceless. ‘Course, that didn’t stop her lookin’ fur a bargain when it came to buyin’ a new one. Me just can’t wait to play with it.

          Let me guess, you heard that on teevee? Cuz you know, ifin the evidence shows you’re guilty then you’re guilty whether you ‘member it or not. 

   

Evidence? There ain’t no evidence sissy. One day we woke up and it was just broken. You could’a broke it yourself and now you’re tryin’ to blame it on me.

 

          Sure Raena. Me had it fur a whole year befur you came and two days after your arrival it magically breaks? Just like all our electronic toys. You’re just hard on toys, that’s all.
