And Fun With the Flats

WooHoo It’s October 1st. You know what dat means? Dat means it’s 31 days till meez 6ff Meowday/Birffday. Fur those of ya’ dat haven’t been followin’ us dat long may be wunnerin’ why dat be such a big deal. Well let me tell ya’. Mommy’s had lots of kitties in hers life. She was a foster mommy fur a long time and specialized in kittens wiffout mommies. And all da spoiled little furries got pawsum homes. Mommy was only a foster failure twice. Da furst time wiff Lexi’s bwofur Lucky, and then wiff sis Lexi. A lot of yous have read da stowries of Shad, mommmy’s furst Service kitty. And yous read ‘bout Devon, Lucky and Ransom. They wasn’t da only kitties mommy’s ever had, but they all have one unfurtunate fing in common. They all died at da age of 5 years old. There was udder kitties afur them, and da same fing happened to them. They all died of diffewent fings, but da fact is they died at 5. So mommy gets a bit panicky when a kitty turns 5 years old. And to tell da twuff she’s been a bit pesky this whole year. Pokin’ and pwoddin’ me, checkin’ me over everyday. Sumtimes me settles into hers lap fur sum sweet mommy luvvin’ and afur ya’ know it meez getting’ an examination. MOL

Sis Lexi be da furst kitty in mommy’s life to ever live past da age of 5. So me guesses it makes since fur her to be a little pawanoid, but meez here to purrove dat sis Lexi ain’t da only one who’s gunna pass 5. Cuz in just 31 short days on November 1, me will be 6. And mommy can quit pokin’ and pwoddin’ me all over cuz me be a healffy little girly. Now we celebwate birffdays all mumff long, so weez in fur a gweat November. Me will be remindin’ ya’ off and on all mumff long, so yous can come to meez pawrty. It’s gunna be a doozy fur sure. Anyways, enuff ‘bout meez birffday fur now.

We have lots of good fings comin’ up fur you this mumff. And wiff da speed this year’s been passin’ us by, da holidays will be here afur yous know it. Weez not celebwate halloween, but we do have fun wiff Thanksgivin’ and Christmas. As you know weez awe weally blest, so Thanksgivin’ fur us takes on a whole new meanin’.

As most of ya’ know, me has a flat cat named Izzy dat be twavelin’ wound visitin’ wiff udder pawsum cat scouts. We do have gweat fun at scouts, and me finks this is one of da funnest fings weez dun so far. Last you heard me (Izzy) and Christy Paws (Tristy), meez twavelin’ companion, was up in Ohio visitin’ meez sweet mancat Andy. We had a pawsum time and met all hims furmily and saw sum gweat sights. Him’s wrote all ‘bout it wight here and here on meez bloggy. Well we left there this past week to head over to visit meez pawsum furiends Timmy Tomcat and Einstein and their furmily. Shortly after we awwived Buddy Budd, Timmy and Einsteins bwofur, stawrted showin’ us wound. They live in Pennsylvania. Meez gotta tell ya’ me is havin’ so much fun and seein’ so many pawsum places. As a lot of ya’ know Timmy be da reason we have a bloggy and dat me be a Cat Scout. Him’s such a gweat kitty. And him’s daddy, our uncle Pete is purretty pawsum too.
