Well we opened our puter on Wednesday and stawrted visitin’ as usual and made our furst comment and got a message dat sed “no innernet connection”. Mommy looked down in da corner at our little innernet icon and sure nuff, no connection. And then just as suddenly as it went off, it was back on. We made our comment and went to da next bloggy. And again we had no innernet connection and then we did. A few more times of dat and mommy was fed up. So she called At&t. Sissy and me knew it wasn’t gunna be a good day cuz weez not fink even da manager can furustwate mommy as bad as At&t. Da automated system checked our line and immediately twansfurred mommy to a live purrson. Dat don’t happen offen, so maybe it wasn’t gunna be such a bad day after all. MOL Mommy’s amazement didn’t last long cuz da “live purrson” sed a tech was gunna have to come out and fix it. So mommy sed “Let’s do this ASAP,” and we got on da schedule fur Fursday. Mommy asked when on Fursday and da opurrator sed, “A tech will be by Thursday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.. An adult must be purresent and it will take 2-4 hours.” Is it any wunder why nopawdy likes At&t? As you can tell, our innernet is fixed and weez back. So today meez gunna tell ya’ ‘bout da visit we had wiff meez sweet mancats’ flat duwin’ hims visit. And don’t furget to tune in fur pawrt 2 of meez flat visit at hims house on Caturday.

So while meez flat scout Izzy was in Ohio visitin’ wiff Andy, hims flat was here at meez house visitin’. When hims furst awwived me was so ‘cited mommy kuldn’t even get any fotos, cuz me kept rubbin’ up against him. Finally mommy suggested we hang on da Liberty twee fur a while and let Andy rest up after hims long twip. Fank catness da sun was shinin’ dat day and we enjoyed watchin’ da birdy’s and squirrels.

After dinner sissy and Andy sat down to have a little chat. Yous know meez sissy be a gweat judge of character and me weally wanted hers to like Andy. She filled hims in on da sleepin’ awwangements and dat hims kuld sleep in da bed wiff all of us but hims wuld be at da udder end of da bed fwum me. Me just knew dat was okay wiff Andy cuz hims so wespectful and gentlemanly.

Da next day we went fur a pawsum stwoll.. Andy liked da stwoller so much dat when we got back inside we took a nap in it. It’s weally comfurrtable cuz it has a fleece blanky acwoss da bottom. We played and hung out on da cat twee a lot. Hims even got to sit on da scwatcher lounger a while. Me didn’t want hims to ever leave cuz we was havin’ so much fun.
Sissy ‘cided to give her appwoval and rubbed him wiff hers chin and cheeks. Me just knew sissy was gunna like him. Me was weally sad to see hims go, but we will meet up duwin’ da holidays at da Den Masters House when all da flat scouts awe getting’ togevver. Dat’s gunna be gweat fun. So we sed our goodbyes and sent Andy on hims way. Hims was a pawsum guest and welkum back anytime. All da scouts who have visited have been just pawsum. Me can’t wait fur da next flat scout to visit. Well meowllo. Yous in fur purrobably one of da shortest posties weez will ever write today. As yous all know weez be chatty so mommy ‘cided dat we shuld just show ya’.
Well dat’s purretty typical of me. Me chats up a stowrm till mommy turns da camerwa on and then suddenly me has nuffin’ to say. MOL Cuz me had been meweekin’ non stop fur over an hour and runnin’ fwu da house. When me finally got on da cat twee and continued chattin’ mommy got da camerwa. And me shut up. Not fur long tho’, just while she had da camerwa on. MOL
Sissy on da udder hand always has purrlenty to say. But meez weally glad she was able to let all of ya’ know how she be duin’.

Well it’s Monday and meez been teasin’ you all ‘bout meez give away fur a while now. Meez tellin’ ya’, everypawdy needs one of these. Ifin there’s a head of hair or a body of fur in yous house, then pull up a chair and let me tell ya’ all ‘bout it.
Let me tell you ’bout this aaaaaaah groomin’ tool.
Every furry out there needs sum groomin’. And there’s all kinds of tools out there fur helpin’ to get rid of mats and tangles and loose furs. And ifin yous like meez human yous purrobably tried more than a few of them. And purrobably ended up spendin’ a small fortune only to have your long haired furry run and hide or fight with you the whole time. Me purrsonally hates bein’ groomed. And mommy sez fank catness fur meez special Ragdoll fur udderwise me wuld be a matted mess. Dat is till recently. We received this pawsum groomin’ tool called da Groom Genie. Mommy gave it a once over and checked out da website and didn’t give it much fawt.
A few days later when me was layin’ in hers lap, mommy membered receivin’ it and reached over to pick it up. Me saw it, but it didn’t look like a typical brush or comb so me laid meez head back down and this time, me didn’t give it much fawt. Mommy then gently put it on meez back and stawrted brushin’ me wiff it. Oh me cats and kittens it felt sooooooo good. Me stawrted purrin’ and then da slobber came. Me was in groomin’ heaven. Me fawt to meez selff, “so this is why sis Lexi gets all beside hers selff when mommy brushes her fur.” Me just kuldn’t get enuff. There was no pullin’ or scwatchin’ just a nice massage. It’s made of plastic and has soft flexible bristles in diffewent sizes. It’s ergonamically crafted fur ease of use by yous human. Although mommy sez she wishes there was a strap to give her awfur-ritic hands a better grip, it’s still easy to handle. Me gives da Groom Genie 4 paws and a floofy tail up.

Sis Lexi likes every brush and comb mommy’s ever brought home, so she didn’t weally need to twy out da Groom Genie, but wantin’ to be fair and all, mommy used it on her too. She purred and cooed and drooled too. She sez she gives it all paws up and then sum. So now you’re askin’ yous selff what duz mommy weally fink, wight? Well let me let her tell ya’.
Thank you Dezi. Every long haired cat I have had the pleasure of knowing has hated being brushed, and Dezi was no exception. Yes she does have non matting fur but she still sheds and thus causes hairballs. And my poor baby looks horrified when she’s trying to get up a hairball. She has these projectiles that can go clear across the room. So matting or no, she needs to be brushed. It’s often done while she’s growling her displeasure and trying to bite the brush/comb. I didn’t expect anything different with the Groom Genie. But to my surprise, she loved it. No growls, no biting, no hisses, no protests of any kind. Instead she was offering spots to be combed and purring so loud I couldn’t hear the t.v. It removes dead fur easily and cleans effortlessly. I loved it too.
But it doesn’t stop there. They make one of these groomers for humans too. It’s called the Knot Genie. I have naturally curly hair that knots up like crazy. I pull out handfuls every time I pull a comb or brush through it. I mentioned that I needed to get one of the Knot Genies for myself and a few days later it was here. Sissy’s been duin’ purretty good. She’s eatin’ ‘bout 12 ounces a meal so dat makes mommy and me purretty happy. Even tho’ she fwu up this meownin’, she was weady to eat more wight away. And she’s been playin’ a little which has always made mommy happy. She sez we work hawrd and deserve to play hawrd. Mommy always smiles when we play. She gets da leaky eyes when we play togevver. Sumfin’ ‘bout bootyful sisfurly luv. Da one fing dat makes mommy sad is dat sissy has been not sleepin’ wiff us. She comes to bed fur purrayers and to massage mommy off to sleep but then she goes and sleeps unnew da kitchen table. She always comes back to help get mommy up in da meownin’s but mommy has twubble sleepin’ wiffout boff of us. So me has been weally cuddlin’ up to mommy so she won’t miss sissy so much. Mommy sez dat sissy be weadyin’ us fur “da day.” And NO, we can’t say it or even fink ‘bout it. Altho’, mommy has been lookin’ a little longer at da kitties needin’ homes lately, me finks she’s just twyin’ to wish ‘em a gweat home like we have.
But dat duz bwing me to our huge blessin’ this week. And dat is dat weez all here togevver still luvvin’ each udder. And dat we have all of you who luv and support us and who we luv very much. And even tho’ da days awe getting’ shorter and lookin’ gloomier it’s still warm outside. Winter will be here soon enuff bwingin’ wiff it fureezin’ temps and yucky gway skies. We worry so much ‘bout da ferals duwin’ da winter time and awe so fankful to see so many of you makin’ such pawsum accommodations fur them outside yous homes. We know they fank you too and feel blest to have wandered upon yous luvvin’ home. Tho they may never know da touch of luv they will know da feelin’.
All of us here awe so very blest. We may complain ‘bout da wevver, but weez not weally know what it’s like. We awe blest to have homes and hoomans and purrlenty of food and soft beds and lots of toys and all da luv in da world. We have a/c’s and fans fur da summer mumffs and heaters and warm blankets fur da cold ones. Ifin we turn our nose up at da meal placed afur us our hoomans almost always offer us sumfin’ else. We all live in da lap of luxury and awe blest to have these lives. So as you go ‘bout yous day, stop fur a minute and member to say fank you fur da many blessings in yous life.
