As you know sis Lexi has turned a bit picky as of late and is weally givin’ mommy da gway hairs twyin’ to figger out what she wants to eat evewyday. So when we saw what we wuz getting’ fur a weview this mumff, mommy cwossed hers paws and sed a little purrayer. Well when da package got here sissy wuz alseep in da bedwooom. Me, me wuz hangin’ on da new cat twee so me saw da package come in da house. Well natuwally me had to check it out. After all what kind of kitty wuld me be ifin me just let a package come in wiffout havin’ at least a little sniff. Mommy opened it wight up and sed, “Oh Dezi look, here’s your Chewy review treats.” Weally me fawt. Well let me at ‘em me meowed.

Mommy took care of da business of takin’ a foto of da tweat bag and then she opened it. Well come on, you don’t fink me went to sleep did ya’? There wuz new tweats in da house, me had to twy ‘em out. We got da Nature’s Variety Instinct raw Boost minis in da Ducky flavor. You know we be da cats dat purrfur sumfin’ udder than chicken and turkey. Not to say they don’t hav their place, we just like udder options when they be available. So anyways, we got da duck flavor. Now these be fureeze dwied all natuwal tweats. Which usually makes mommy happy too. So just how do these fair?.

Late And Behind, What’s New

Meowllo evewypawdy, hope yous havin’ a gweat Monday. Weez wunnin’ behind as usual. You wuld never know dat meez mommy wuz one of those peeps dat wuz 15 minutes early to evewyfin’ once upon a time. Now weez lucky to be only 15 minutes late. MOL Anyways mommy got so wrapped up in da Walkin’ Dead last night dat hers didn’t help me write a posty. Awe any of you Walkin’ Dead fans? Evewy season mommy sez, “I’m not watching this show anymore.” And evewy season there she is twyin’ to watchin’ or DVR’n it. She uses da ‘scuse dat nuffin’ els be on teevee. But ifin dat wuz twu she wuldn’t hav been so wrapped up in it dat she kuldn’t take dictation. Well dat bein’ sed, better late than never wight?. So here’s me posty fur today. Hopefully she’ll be better ‘bout getting’ meez posty out tomowwo.

It’s gunna be a busy week fur us tho’ so meez not holdin’ meez bweff or nuffin’. See da manger passed out notices da udder day while we wuz gone to da doctow fur an inspection. And not just any inspection, she checked evewy box she could. She’s mawked dat she’s gunna do a inspection on cleanliness (which mommy sez is subjective), occupied dwelling (meanin’ only those on da lease look like they be livin’ there: da mens shirts mommy wears kuld make it look like we gots a man in da house-ifin only), check da smoke alawms, pull da emergency chains (which only make loud noises and alert da whole complex dat you wuz cleanin’ da pawdee box woom), change da a/c filters and exterminate. Da only box dat didn’t get checked wuz da annual inspection. She even checked da “other” box. Don’t know what els she plans on checkin’ cuz there ain’t nuffiin’ left.

And of course mommy sez this is way too intwusiv in da furst place specially since sum of this is subjective. One purrsons clean is anudder purrsons filff. Mind ya’ we still hav a bit of a mess in sum aweas, cuz mommy got tiwed and sick and da wedder turned cold on us purretty quickly after comin’ home fwum this summer’s fiasco. And weez had purrawllems wiff one fing or anudder since then. Seems evewy mumff weez had to hav a wepairman out to fix sumfin’ dat got bwoke in da “wemodel”. So mommy will be duin’ sum cleanin’ this week and a little of dat “lady’s secwet stuff” of pushin’ all da west in da closet and shuttin’ da door till spwing. Mommy’s still got a touch of pneumonia and can’t get evewyfin’ dun.

On top of all this, mommy’s new case manager wants to bwing a nurse out dat same day to change her PCA (purrsunal care attendant/maid=housekeeper) company, cuz da last company can’t staff us. It’s been da maids decade off wound here. Twuff is nopawdy wound here wants to work so nopawdy’s gunna hav much luck staffin’ us. Evewy good girl weez gotten quits cuz they can’t make enuff munny, and they hav twubble getting’ da little bit of munny they do make. Seems da companies awen’t very weliable ‘bout sendin’ out their paychecks. So looks like anudder week of us fallin’ behind. We may never get all caught up, but we will eventually get by to visit wiff you all. We miss ya’ when we don’t get to visit.

And weez still holdin’ mommy to her purromise to take us fur a stwoll and play wiff us. We won this pawsum little toy a while back dat mommy wants to get ow fotos wiff, cuz we luv it. And awnty Jennifer got us a new attachment fur ow birdy toy dat we won in anudder giv away afur Christmas. In udder words, busy, busy, busy. Mommy’s always sayin’ there’s not enuff hours in da day to do evewyfin’. But we always come furst so even ifin dat means we get behind on visits and postin’ so long as we be happy then mommy sez she can’t pawlogize. All she ever wanted wuz to make us happy and let us know how much she luvs us. Guess me can’t complain too much ‘bout hers not takin’ dictation eever. Cuz afur hers got so wrapped up in da show last night she had spent a kupple hours cleanin’ up ow messes and playin’ wiff us. We can tiwe her out purretty quick. But she had to keep stoppin’ to blow hers nose last night so we played fur a weally long time afur getting’ pooped out. So we will see you soon. Meowllo evewypawdy, and a blest Sunday to ya’. Kittens, it seems like we just did this. Time is just flyin’ by. Mommy’s been a little unnew da wedder wiff da cawfin, and nose blowin’, da extwa pain fwum da cold and now a pawful migwaine. It wuz so bad dat mommy wuz talkin’ (moanin’) in hers sleep and even woke up to sis Lexi givin’ hers a head massage. Or fur those dat doubt weez know what weez duin’ as Service Cats, maybe we just wanted mommy to get up. MOL (we know nun of ow wegular weaders fall into this categowy, but we hav weceived a foo emails lately dat doubt cats can be twained) Purrawlly spammers, but just in case.

It’s sunny and bwight out today and it’s posed to be in da 70’s. So aside fwum hangin’ on da new cat twee, mommy purromised we kuld go fur a stwoll. And hers got a list to giv to mr. W. Cuz just as we wuz gunna get ow dinner last night, there wuz mr. W bangin’ on da door cuz Buddy had gotten out again. Hims always duz this at dinner time. We knew dat wuz da purrawllem afur mommy opened da door cuz mr. W wuz yellin’ it fwu da closed door. So mommy opened da door and there wuz mr. W sittin’ there in fwunt of da door wiff a flashlight and Buddy not 6 feet behind him unnew da big ole oak twee in fwunt of ow pawtment stawin’ at mommy. She sez she kulda swore hims had a Cheshire gwin goin’. So mommy yelled at hims to get hims hineybo home and he took off towards hims pawtment. Whew, at least weez not hav to postpone dinner fur mommy to go out chasin’ him fwu da woods.

Mommy sez mr. W’s just gunna hav to step it up and purrvide sum fings fur Buddy. See a kupple years ago hims bought Buddy a cat twee. Well he put it in da bedwoom way away fwum da window and never saw Buddy use it. After a mumff, he gave da twee to hims housekeeper sayin’ Buddy wuldn’t use it and didn’t like it. Hmmph Weez seen Buddy climb da oak twees when mommy’s twyin’ to get him to go back home. Mommy also gave mr. W sum gwass seeds to gwo fur Buddy as hims eats purrlenty when he gets out, and purrawlly has a upset tummy most of da time cuz hims eats dat yucky dollaw genewal bwand food. Mr. W kuld afford better noms fur Buddy, he just dusn’t wanna spend da munny.

Anyways, back to da gwass. Mr. W sed hims planted da gwass and Buddy dug it all up. Mommy told him dat ifin hims had put enuff seeds in there da gwass wulda been too dense fur Buddy to stwew dirt evewy where. Well hims never planted anymore gwass. And Buddy’s scwatchers get all used up purretty fast, cuz mr. W won’t spend more than a kupple dollaws fur da little corrugated cawd board piece, and only one a year. OMC Will dat man evew lissen to mommy?. Mommy told him it wuz fine to buy dat type cuz fankfully Buddy likes ‘em, but he shuld buy sevewal fur difffewent places in da house and weplace them more offen. Like when Buddy quits usin’ ‘em and stawts usin’ da furniture. So mommy has a list of fings mr. W needs to do fur Buddy to keep him fwum wunnin’ out da door evewytime it’s opened. So migwaine or not, mommy purromissed we kuld go stwollin’.

Meowllo evewypawdy and happy Caturday. Me wants to mention stwaight off dat me joined da Pet Pawade over at Rascal and Roccos. Evewy week weez join ‘em and evewy week mommy furgets to put their link in meez posty. You know sum fings oughtta go wiffout sayin’. Me can’t dictate evewyfin’. Me needs meez booty west. But me did want’cha to know dat meez joinin’ ‘em again this week along wiff many more pawsum pet blogs. Yous oughtta head over, after yous wead and comment on meez posty of course; and check ‘em out. So, most of ya’ know dat sissy has a Facebook page wiff hers name on it. Weez change out and make posties on each udders pages all da time, and meez bloggy goes up there evewyday. Or at least evewy time me can get mommy to take dictation. Anyways, she asked ow furiends ifin they wuld like a daily chwonicle ‘bout how she be duin’, how da meds awe workin’ and so on. Mommy wanted to keep a wecord fur hers selff and they fawt ifin ow furiends wuz innewested this wuld be a purrfect way to journal it. Well we hav da mostest pawsumest furiends in da universe and of course they all sed yes, they wanna hear all ‘bout it. So Lexi posted yesfurday after dinner and it wuz mostly borin’ cuz da day had gone purretty good. Well she spoke too soon. Yous wanna knmow why?

Well just let me tell ya’. It went sumfin’ like this. Mommy wuz takin’ dictation when me had to go to da pawdee box. (she shlda took dat time to add da linky to da Pet Pawade) Just as me headed back, sis Lexi came wunnin’ fwu da house like hers pants wuz on fire. She had hers tail tucked down and hers hiney all sucked up. Come on yous ladies know what meez talkin’ ‘bout when yous twyin’ to get in those jeans you wore when you wuz still a teenager?. Anyways, me had to go so me didn’t fink much ‘bout it. Maybe hers meds is givin’ hers da zoomies. Well me wuz in da pawdee box twyin’ to do meez businesss and me heard mommy say, “Oh Lexi. It’s okay sweety, accidents happen. Let me help ya’. Honey, don’t run off. Wait!! Stop!!” but did sissy wait or stop? Nope hers whizzed past me and into da udder pawdee box hers went wiff mommy hot on hers heels.

Lexi: Well Dezi ledid me tell ya’ sumfin’, derz nubbin’ okay bowt dat smell or feelin’ or habbin’ a ji-unt chayzin abter ya’ wiv a wad ov toylit payper cuz sumfin’ beez hayngin’ frum youz hinee-bow. Itz jiz down rite im-bayrizun. Jiz cuz youz doo it awl da time duzunt meen I’z wanna habz a tern.

Well sissy me dusn’t like it, but it just happens sumtimes wiff all meez fur. At least yous not hav all da bwitches me has. Anyways, wiff all this commotion goin’ on it’s a wunnew me wuz able to handle meez business. Altho’ guess me spoke too soon. Cuz da nex fing me heard wuz mommy hollewin’, “Oh My Bloomin’ Cat!!!! Cant’t either of you hit the pawdee box? Me had a little stickin’ purrawlem too, and it fell off to da floor when me jumped outta da pawdee box. And…..pawently mommy went and stepped in it. (snickers) Okay yous wight, it wusn’t funny (chuckles under her breath). Poor mommy. All she wuz twyin’ to do wuz hav a cup of hot coffee. And she’s almost out. Da only fing we can say to dat is, why shuld we change how ow house wuns just cuz yous at da bottom of da coffee can mommy. Ifin yous been followin’ eever of us fur anytime yous know dat mommy rarely if ever gets to sit down and hav a whole cup of fwesh hot coffee. Well mommy had a big ole mess to clean up in da pawdee box woom cuz of course mw didn’t hit da piddle pads eever. And of course after mommy stepped in it and smooshed it evewywhere it wusn’t gunna be an easy job. No, don’t worry weez not hav any fotos of this. Poor mommy wuz gwossed out she wuldn’t subject yous all to it. And all this happened in da foo hours after Lexi posted hers update on Facebook. Hope all of you hav fings movin’ nowmally and not be havin’ dirty bloomers fur yous mommys to clean. And we hope yous hav a pawsum Caturday.
