Oh dear! I has the sorry I am late to wish Lexi a Very Happy Birfday! 15! Woo-hoo, congrats to her–I will be ten in a month or so, and the Human reminds me that I will soon be a “senior citizen” just like her. To tell you truth, I am not sure I like the sound of that!
Around here, we can get FF for about 52-55 cents at PetSmart. We’ll have to check into the other things. Movie tix are just ridiculous though–like around $11-12. Pffft–highway robbery!

Glad you girls all enjoyed your day! I just posted how I was excited Lexi made it to 15. With all the kitties we have lost over all the various ages it makes you appreciate the time you have and the babies still with you. As my babies get older it makes me worry over them, but it makes me grateful every day they are here. Most days before I leave, I try to love and pet them all just in case something were to happen.
Anyway prices in Louisiana:
Bread: good bread $3.00 +tax nasty bread $1.50+
Milk: $4.25-$4.65+
Eggs depends on where you go: $1.60-$2.25
Gas: I think last time I gased up it was $3.60 but it fluctuates
Can of fancy feast is $.65 if you catch a sale you can get it for $.50
Tax; food items (not service food): $.04 every dollar, non-food: $.08 on every dollar.
Looking at your prices I guess we are lucky. I guess your areas standard of living is considered higher

Actually ow State is considewed one of da powwest States, and wees liv in a vewy small awea dat is considewed da one of da poowest in da state. Avewage wages awe min. wage and most jobs like tu wowk people pawt time so dey don’t hav tu pwovide benefits. But mommy sez deys’ got us and dey know it. People hav tu buy cewtain fings no mattew what. Mommy just dusn’t buy gwocewies so hers can take cawe of us. Taxes vawy dependin’ on da town/city, ows hewe is 10% fuw evewfin’, and da town whewe mommy shops da Walmawt in 8.25% (meez finks, can’t membew zackly). Hope yous hav a Pawsum week!! 😀

Our mom doesn’t have any receipts handy, but she is pretty sure the prices here in Georgia for those items are much cheaper. So interesting how things can be priced so differently in different states.

I’m so happy you all had such a good day yesterday for Lexi’s birthday. Your party was awesome. Hope you are resting today and doing good.
Wow. Your prices are so much higher there than they are here. Gas is about $3.59 but changes day by day and from place to place. I get it at Kroger and use my Kroger card to get usually $1.00 off per gallon which helps. I also get Kroger milk which is about $3.09 for a gallon. I try to get the bread that is $1.99 on sale sometimes. Do you have Kroger stores there? It’s the closest grocrey store here. There are other stores that charge more on most things but I don’t go to them. Kroger is about 1/2 mile away from me.

As fuw da pwices, yep, ow gas pwices change almost daily tu, and by staion/town. Wees don’t hav Krogers hewe. Ow town only has a small vewy spensive gwocewy, so mommy shops at Walmawt (45 minutes away in anuddew town) And Walmawt and 2 uddew gwocewy stowes awe all dat’s der tu. Glad yous hav sum purretty good pwices. Mommy dusn’t buy many gwocewies, as yous can see hers can’t weally affowd tu. Hav a Pawsum week!! 😀
