Dezi, those facts are all so true and it is so sad about cats that don’t have homes. We really need to push the spay and neuter to try to keep kittens and cats out of the shelters.

Dezi, You are such a wise, loving and thoughtful kitty. Of course, you did make Mommy very sad thinking of all the kitties needing homes and knowing that we cannot take any in right now. As she types, Lily Olivia is sitting next to her purring up a storm and kissing her on the hand. Mommy is giving her kisses on her head. Lily and her brothers had a home, but they spent all their time playing in the street at a busy intersection. When Mom and Dad first met them, there were five kittens. When Mom and her friend rescued them there were only four. Lily came to live with us, and her three remaining brothers went to live with the friend. Thanks to Mommy, Lily is now 15 years old. I’m a former shelter kitty, and actually had 4 homes in the first two years of my life, then the P.A. found me and I got my furever home… pawesome happy ending 🙂

We were both adopted from the RSPCA who rescued us from a house that had over 100 cats living there – if you can call it living when you have to fight for every mouthful of food and no-one cares if you live or die. That was five years ago and we are happy, dearly loved lady cats now.
