Anyways, as da munff of June winds down and comes tu a close, wees just wanted tu wemind yous tu Save a Life and ADOPT, ADOPT, ADOPT!!! Meez not wanna be a downer, but so many lives awe wasted cuz of ignowance. Purrlease member dat evewy life counts. And dat kitty yous bwing home will gwo up soon. And it’s not a doll or toy yous can fwo away when you’s tiwed of it. It’s a livin’ bweevin’ bein’ wiff feelins and emotions. A cat or kitten is a life long commitment, as is any animal. Great post! I love people who rescue kats! I and all my brothers and sisters was abandoned in a playground and a nice lady that brought her creatures to the playground found us under a bush one day and took us to her house to find homes fur us. We were so glad! We had been so cold and scared and hungry- Then my humans heard about us and came to see us and they chose ME to go home with them! My brothers and sisters still live with the nice lady who found us all. She is our hero! (trills)

This is a great reminder. Those poems are so sad, but so true. Delilah, Sampson, and Sophie were adopted from a rescue organization, and Mom rescued Sassy and Caster off the streets. They had been abandoned. We are all so grateful for Mom and Dad adopting us. And we know you and Lexi are too. 🙂

We are on board with adopt a cat (or dog or other homeless animal) 100%! As a shelter-adopted kitty I know the power of love and I would wish that for every single creature on God’s beautiful earth – love and a safe home.

We agree with you completely! All the mom’s cats have been in need of homes. She would love to have a purebred cat but couldn’t bring herself to buy one when so many others need a home. But then, there are rescues that specialize in purebreed cats too.
