Science sez dat ownin’ a cat pwolongs a hoomans life. Mommy sez fur suwe it makes it better, but don’t just take hers word fuw it. Yous can wead ’bout sum of da healff benefits here. Anyways, as da munff of June winds down and comes tu a close, wees just wanted tu wemind yous tu Save a Life and ADOPT, ADOPT, ADOPT!!! Meez not wanna be a downer, but so many lives awe wasted cuz of ignowance. Purrlease member dat evewy life counts. And dat kitty yous bwing home will gwo up soon. And it’s not a doll or toy yous can fwo away when you’s tiwed of it. It’s a livin’ bweevin’ bein’ wiff feelins and emotions. A cat or kitten is a life long commitment, as is any animal. Yup. All 3 of mine r rescued. The youngest, Indy, was actually returned to the shelter bc he was “too rambunctious”. Imagine that. A rambunctious kitten. Wow. He is one of the sweetest kittens I’ve ever had. Their loss is my gain.
I wish I could save them all too. Poor babies wouldn’t b in the circumstances they’re in if it weren’t for the ignorance & carelessness of humans.

It hurts Mom’s heart when people get rid of kitties for silly reasons and not trying to work it out. When she was a young’un her parents did that and she was heart-broken. She had a panther kitty named BJ and she loved him. The rest of the family misunderstood him so they didn’t like him. Said he was mean but he wasn’t, not really. They just didn’t treat him with as much love and caring as he should have gotten. Mom begged them not to get rid of him but they said he was too mean. So one day they took BJ and dropped him off. Mom hasn’t any idea what happened to him and it was a very upsetting experience. Mom loved that cat. Luna kinda reminds mom of BJ. Both could be considered mean, but they aren’t they just have cattitude. They never hurt anyone. I am the only kitty mom didn’t adopt from the street or from ‘free to a good home’ situation. Mom would have loved to rescue a Ragdoll but as we aren’t quite common it she couldn’t find any near her. Plus it had to be a baby because Jasper will NOT accept a full grown kitty. Luvs ya sweeties!

Aaaw Winter wees so sowwy ’bout yous mommys panffer kitty. Meez mommys furmily did da same when hers wus little wiff a doggy dat mommy luved vewy much. (mommys furmily hates kittys) And wees unnewstands ’bout da Ragdolls. Wees not meant tu make yous mommy feel bad, wees just wanted tu wemind evewpawdy dat there be lots of adowable kittys needin’ homes. And wees allso know all ’bout havin’ tu hav a kitty. Sis Lexi wulda nevew accepted a full gwown cat, and it wulda been a bit hawdew fur mommy tu twain and bond wiff. 🙂

Oh don’t worry, y’all didn’t hurt Mom’s feelings. She know adopting is the best thing but she just had to have me. She said she foresees more adopting in the future and feels even though she paid for me she saved me with love and that even purebreds need homes too. She just know the most important thing is spaying/neutering because that is the best way to stop homeless kitties.
